The sushi is excellent, the service is outstanding and the little things make this place great. All the fish is very fresh, the presentation is well done and they have a nice assortment of beverages.I like that they always serve complimentary edamame as an appetizer and little desserts when the meal is done. I havent tried any of the cooked entrees but my non-sushi eating friends said it was great.
I have a great experience everytime I visit Nagoya. Sushi is fresh and delicious and the staff is super accommodating and friendly! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you havent already. Cheers!
They have an All you can eat for $25.95 and happy hour from 5-8:30p which gives half price sake and beer. Service is fast and friendly and food is above average. Bit hidden from the Main Street. The place is a bit run down and could use a good cleaning and repaint. When I sat at the bar it was sticky and I cleaned it with the wet wipe and wiped up a ton of dark grease.
When your favorite city sushi spot also just happens to be a five minute walk from you. Chill spot, friendly service. We usually get spicy yellowtail, albacore, eel rolls. Anything set on fire is also delicious.
Let my qualify this with the fact that I may be a bit of a sushi snob...but I feel you cant really mess around when you are consuming raw fish...I really tried to like this place and gave it 3 tries hoping my expirience would get better (as its very close to my house), but I was dissappointed everytime.The chefs are unfriendly and uncreative. Some of the better chefs Ive expirienced ask what I like and tend to tailor orders or create new things depending on what I like...not the case. Dont think they spoke or smiled once.The place reeked of old fish twice...once I lost my appetite and left. Definately get the feeling I could get sick here as they dont seem to be very discerning with the freshness of the fish. This place also never seems to be busy.... a bad sign right there. I have to wonder how long the fish sits there before someone finally shows up to eat it.That being said, I have actually been to worse in the area. Ive been to about 6 places within 5 miles of my house, none I would go back to. Shouldnt be that hard to find good sushi in California but the closet sushi place I have tried near Aliso Viejo is in Costa Mesa well worth the drive, I wont tell you what it is, because its already packed 24/7 and I dont want to make it harder to get a spot at the bar. :)
Came by for AYCE sushi after work one day right at 5pm (dont judge me I was starving). Was very impressed with the service and selection of not only rolls, but sashimi and extras like salad, soup, teriyaki, etc. The Drunken Tiger roll came out on fire and was actually pretty good. As was the Red Bull roll. Good portions of fish. Usually a Philadelphia roll is just a small amount of avocado, cream cheese, and salmon wrapped in rice, but here they actually top it with salmon which provides MUCH more fish and also asparagus inside. It was really great. Anyways, for $26/pp its totally worth it. We didnt have a single thing that was bad. Definitely coming back!
Beware the All You Can Eat is not all you can eat. They tried to tell me I can only order 3 times which is great if you place big orders but not if you order one at a time. The place is getting run down and could use basic repairs and cleaning. The food did taste good but I have an issue with the false advertising.
Don’t go here! The sushi is no good. It’s too fishy the miso taste like soy sauce (weird), and their tempura tasted like it was fried in old oil.
I love that avocado rolls are on the Happy Hour menu. It makes me very happy! I always get good service here and everything tastes fresh.
I ordered the AYCE($24). By the time I was done, I had eaten TNT, Drunken Tiger, Crunch Rainbow, Eel Nigiri, Yellow Tail Nigiri and Mackerel Nigiri. Combination of rice and fish was about right. Freshness of fish, I couldnt really tell. But they seem fine. My wife had combination #3, my daughters had combination #2 and Caterpillar Roll. They all enjoyed. Customer service was OK, nothing spectacular. I got my orders in time and server got my green tea in time.
Good sushi if you are into all you can eat. Servers are kind and friendly. Quality fish and cooked for too!!

The customer service is wonderful, always letting me know about promotions and making sure that I have the menu. The food is also divine, but what I feel really makes this place stand out is their dedication to presentation, even for to go orders.

2019-01-21 02:51:11We had the Ayce. I have to say the fish quality was good but it sure was overwhelmed by the amount of rice. Huge amount of rice to act as filler, so that dropped the rating. Also reduced menu for ayce but even the full menu was pretty limited seemed like a variety of rolls but they were just minor variations on the major ones. Not a lot of creativity, basic standard and the varieties with tempura crunch. Better places for ayce around. Staff was friendly.

2019-07-13 14:06:01We went there Friday night because all other sushi places were packed and booked for reservation in the area. As soon as we walked in I noticed there were only 2 tables were occupied and place looked very run down, that alarmed me a little but we stayed because we we’re hungry. Sushi wasn’t the greatest quality and very basic. We were hoping not to get sick.Be careful of ordering all you can eat, they use lots of rice more than usual and not much fish. They must call it ALL YOU MUST EAT. If you don’t eat it, you get charge for it. We won’t ever go back, the worst sushi experience.

Never, ever, ever have I walked in and smelled old fish.Nagoya is clean, and they serve a high quality fish, which for an all you can eat restaurant is rare.If you havent been here, come try, you wont be disappointed. 2017-07-04 01:49:08First place I ever ate sushi over a decade ago (thr Kens roll... Which they still have... Great starter roll for the fearful). Hate to say it but its slipped.over the years. Still friendly service and great value but fish quality is suffering which is a shame. Really has lasted a long time. Still good, but this sushi is bang for buck, not for the connoisseur.
