These are the prettiest nails Ive ever had! Im in love with this place 😍 They have a great selection of gel, and talented ladies who wont hurt you digging into your cuticles or under your nails. Ive been here twice now, both times as a walk-in and was seen right away and treated so well 😁 This is my new go-to nail salon 💖

I’ve been here twice so far, and both times, the experience was superb. It really feels like a luxury service. The customer service and attention to detail is outstanding! Photos of my first (blue ombré) & second (French) visit. The first visit, I had some old nails removed, and they were so careful and gentle while removing the old acrylic. The acrylic is applied in a very natural looking, smooth way. Not thick, uneven or goopy like some places. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Came in for dip powder nails. To call the results a disaster would warrant an understatement. Where do I start?! Just look at the photos! That’s after I paid extra for cuticle removal. Not a single nail was filed evenly or the same. What you probably can’t tell from pictures is the texture of the polish. Some nails are rough like a nail file, while some are smooth but bumpy. And last but not least, they use uv light, which they tired to convince is how dip is done. Not true. No other place I’ve been to uses uv light for dip powder, which is the primary reason I prefer it to shelak or gel. Just go absolutely anywhere else for a better manicure.

Mira did my friends nails for her birthday and did absolutely amazing job! They look wonderful and last a long time. Also, they are for a great price for such an amazing set! They were so nice and brought us snacks. Definitely coming back.

Gave them second chance thought that it was just my problem, apparently not, I completely my nail at this salon, and the next day or third day the color just keep peeling off…, what I did is GEL not even just color it … and the female who did it for me was very rude,I usually showed the picture to the service lady, they would help picking color and suggested me, she ‘s like NO you pick color, I wanna say I was just show you the picture, and give u an idea of how i want it to be, and you just stop the conversation and ask to pick the color, what’s wrong with you ??! And she keep asking me what color you want,when I just sat down for a bit …and she is even doing first part not even ready to color my nail…. This just make me so annoyedThe picture i attached was a week after, the color was way more off, I already cut half of it and fix my nails myself and make it looks better..

I decided not to tip at the end of my manicure because I wasnt too fond of the service and the manicurist was the owner of the salon. The woman checking me out yelled across the salon to the owner and started laughing the moment after I told her no tip. It was incredibly rude. I asked for a simple manicure, plain white nails. It took about 20 minutes. These were my nails the morning after. They started turning red/pink. Thankfully I did not tip as it was a waste of my money. Really disappointed... I would not recommend to anyone.

Dude these nails are a work of art! Kevin is a master nail artist. He noticed details of my reference that I didn’t even see. Such great attention to detail. He works with you to make sure you come out with your dream nails.The Nail Bar is nice, everyone is checking to see if you are comfortable. Pedicure was super relaxing. Nail art is spectacular.

Ive come 3 times, my first 2 experiences were amazing. In the past, I have been to salons whose employees ridicule me for and make me extremely uncomfortable for asking to not cut my cuticles. They have never been cur before and have no callouses and nothing to cut/clean. The 3rd time I went, the woman would not stop talking about it, and tried to make fun of me with the neighboring client who ignored her. Throughout the entire time, she kept picking at my cuticles and saying she was just removing the excess polish...with the cuticle cutter...she also gouged my big toe and it is still hurting the next day. My cuticles have never been cut before, and once you cut, you develop really bad callouses and that causes you to always need to cut them. You do not need them cut to have a nice nail style that lasts. What made me most uncomfortable was that she continued doing it without my consent, even though there was nothing to cut because I had no callouses, and I had to keep asking her to stop. I should have left or waited for one of the salonists who did my nails in the past. I should not have tipped, but I did, and the owner announced the low 10% tip to the whole store as if to call me out rather than ask about my experience because I usually tip well. I will not be going back. Horrible experience this last time and I dont feel comfortable in that store again.When someone says they dont want something done to THEIR body, just respect that and MOVE ON. It doesnt change how much you get paid, but creating a bad customer experience does change your tip.She was so focused on peeking up to see if I was looking when she tried to cut my cuticles agaim and again that the paint job came out poorly in some areas with hard bumps. I will say that every other experience here was fantastic, but I wont be going back after how uncomfortable and humiliated I felt having to defend my choice over my body.

This is a super friendly place. Lynn is very attentive, she remembers every customer’s name and makes you feel comfortable.Kim did my nails and her work is amazing. I showed her pictured of what I wanted and she did it perfectly to the point. She took pride in her hard work and I could tell she enjoyed doing this funky design.Hannah, another friendly lady. She did my pedicure and was very gentle. She massage my feet and legs with the right amount of pressure.I definitely pampered myself here and would definitely come again. 💛💛

Lien saved the day 3 months ago by taking my cold call and allowed us to come in right before closing to remove my daughters inflammed in-grown toe nail. We just moved to the area, and had trouble to get an appointment with podiatrists. Lien is SO good at it. She removed the in-grown nail quickly, took care of the toe in such a detail and make us all feel at ease. She also has such a charming personality. The treated toe was healed the next day. We are so lucky to get to know this nail bar and Lien! We are back again the second time now, and surely many more in the future.

I went to Nail Bar as a walk-in at 9:45 am and inspite of having many clients this morning, they were able to accommodate me. When they asked for my name, they have addressed me that the whole time I was there.At the very beginning, they will give you several hand towels so you don’t get dirty from the nail drills/file. They also gave me a pillow where I can rest my arms and hands. They offered coffee, tea and/or water to all their clients and we were all given 2 slices of watermelon.Gel manicure:Tiffany did my hard gel manicure. I mentioned to her that my cuticle/skin is very thin and sensitive. I greatly appreciate that she was very careful with my cuticles as she handled the drills and nail file. She took her time and didn’t rush my manicure at all.Gel pedicure:Donna did my gel pedicure. Just like my fingernails, she handled my toenails very carefully and was not rushed. Her foot massage made me feel so relaxed. Donna will brighten up your day because she’s just all smiles.I also appreciate Lien because she checks the work of all of their clients. Wouldn’t really recommend this place just because the price and the service. really expensive this set was 100$ where i usually go she does 75$ with swavorski crystals and stuff. this was a last minute problem. at around 5:15 pm i called and asked if it was too late to fit me and my mom in. i would of totally understood if they said it was too busy and if i could come back tomorrow since they close at 7. but they said no it’s okay we can totally do you and made me an appointment. they didn’t ask what time so they just gave me 6pm. i received an appointment link and everything. it was a 15 minute drive and we got there at 5:55pm. when we got there everyone was staring at us it was really uncomfortable. no one greeted us and we were standing there for a couple of minutes. then someone finally came and i told them i had an appointment for 6 and they all looks at each other like what the heck…. she asked me if i can come tomorrow. i told her i had a confirmed appointment. she said okay wait outside. like 15 minutes later at this point my mom was a little upset and i asked her if she just wanted to go home and she said yeah. i went inside to tell them it’s okay we will just go home. and they said no we almost have the chairs ready wait longer. we waited a little more and they brought my mom in first. i was finally called in later and the lady was really rushed and rough handling me. a lot of moments when she accidentally hurt me. and she looked pretty annoyed. just not a good experience with her. she had no name tag. that was the lady doing my pedicure. the lady doing my nails said hi how are you and such and she took her time to do her work and was very careful and asked for my opinions several times. she wanted to make sure i was happy. she is the only reason i rated this place any stars. none of the two girls doing my nails had name tags. i appreciate the nail girl because she stayed after hours to finish me up. i wouldn’t come back. it was almost 300$ for me and my mom

I showed Luna a picture and she was able to do the design I envisioned. Very friendly and professional. The fruit and water was a nice touch. Gentle massage and warm towel at the end. Clean facilities.The best part was that I went after work and they don’t close the doors at closing time. They welcomed me to come in when I called after 6pm (closing time says 7pm) They all work together collectively to clean and close up. Its always entertaining for me as a guy, to walk into this nail salon with my friend, but its always the great experience. Im writing this review in particular though because I have the best pedicure Ive ever had from my woman named Ann. She had great attention to detail and it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend requesting her, you wont be disappointed. plus since this is a new nail salon, all of the massage chairs are in great condition and very comfortable.

Honestly it really depends on which nail technician that you got. I have been to this place twice, I think it was Gwen that did my nails the first time and it was excellent. customer service was excellent, the cuticles were taken a great care of, the gel polish and the message. I love it so bad so I didn’t hesitate at all to go in again. However, the lady who was helping me this time was really disappointing….So if you knew someone that’s good, tip them well and stick to their service.. Getting a new manicurist could be a bad idea…

I really dislike businesses that pressure you into paying cash. Its one thing if they have it posted Cash Only, then you know that they dont take credit cards. But, what Im referring to is when they try to guilt you into paying cash. I thought that I had found a great pedicure spot. Yes, I get pedicures because my toenails are jacked up from years of backpacking and hiking. I switched places because my previous spot Nail Touch that i have been going to for over 20 years, changed ownership and went downhill fast. So i have been searching for a new spot. I found the Nail Bar in Mtn View and I have been very happy with them. Today was my 3rd visit and the manager started pressuring me to pay with cash. I refused and used my card. This is a really low class way of running a business.

The most horrible service in the bay I’ve experienced. This is my second timegoing here and the first time was equally horrible, but came back only because this is the closest nail salon to my apartment . The nail tech was all over the place, running around talking to everyone and rushing to get the nails done. At the end when she asked me for the tip, I said 20%, she was like that’s too low, I was shocked - first and foremost 20% is a very standard tip and second of all I didn’t want to tip her at all given the service. She made the same comment last time too on the tip amount. If you want a good tip, give me a good service. Will not recommend and will not be returning here

This was my first time here and I am so impressed! Typically with a regular, non-gel manicure I expect to get a max of 2 days out of it before it chips. Well, it is 9 days post-manicure from Nail Bar and I STILL havent gotten a chip! I came in on a Tuesday morning expecting it to be slow, but there were lots of customers and, even better, numerous staff! They did my manicure at the same time I was getting my pedicure, which was very efficient. I watched 3 people walk in without an appointment while I was there, and all were able to be helped immediately. I will definitely be back!

This place caught my eye because of the high ratings and the nail salon really does deserve 5 stars! The owner Lynn is super warm & welcoming. They offered me complimentary watermelon when I first came in lol. The first time I got my nails done, Kim did them and did a great job letting me choose exactly what I wanted. The staff was incredibly friendly, taking me in with just 5 minutes notice and offering me water and fruit upon arrival. Even though my request was quite vague, Kim (my nail artist) mastered the nail design. I asked for something similar to french manicure with a flower design and had no picture to show her. Somehow, Kim had a vision for what I wanted and she did a fabulous job. The facility is kept clean and tidy and the music (classical cover songs) was very relaxing. Highly, highly recommend!

I thought I had found a good nail salon when I moved to California. They try to fit everybody who comes in. Rushes to get you out. I had been there a few times but the last time was the worst. I had made an appointment for a pedicure and to remove full set and get pedicure. I notice the nail techs talking amongst each other not wanting to do my nails, since they kept looking and pointing at me. One of them asked me if I wanted a full set I said no, remove them and I want manicure. She moved on to the next person next to me and asked her, she said she wanted full set so she started doing her nails (she was a walk-in). Another nail tech came with an attitude and told me to dip my nails in acetone for 15 minutes. I waited over 45 minutes for her to come (she had started doing someone elses nail at that point). I was in tears, no one had ever gave me such bad service and made me feel unwelcome like this nail salon did. I removed my own nails and left crying.

I came in for dip nails and was given acrylic after saying I did not want acrylic.I came in as a walk-in for 2 manicures and was told they were busy and to come back in an hour. We came back an hour later. I asked for them to remove my dip nails and replace it with dip. The technician proceeded to buff off the top layer, but then aggressive broke off the dip from my nails. Then after taking as much as she could off forcibly, she finally put acetoned soaked cotton on top of my nails and wrapped them in aluminum foil to soak for final removal. She then proceeded to put acrylic on my nails after I said I wanted dip. And when I asked if it was acrylic she told me it was dip. Overall, the nails look good, but theyre 100% not what I wanted. A good dip nail can look very natural, these are very obviously not natural.

I was really excited to try this salon because they had such great reviews but I was not impressed. The nail painting quality was pretty good (although not excellent), but it was very cramped and busy in here (although I will say that could have been the hours I went). The nail technician gave me cold water for my pedicure and once I pointed it out she only slightly fixed the water temperature to make it lukewarm. The tools did not appear clean and the facility is in general pretty dirty by my standards. Sadly, will not be going here again.

I had a horrible experience today!! My nails were rushed and not completed how l wanted. Fara was one of the best nail techs there and she went back to school so your left with not good quality work for the price. They are way over priced and dont even do a complete nail service!! My cuticles were not cut even though I got 55 deluxe for my feet. I got a fill on my hands which behind my nails were not cleaned or shaped!! My cuticles was not cut as well on my hands and I was told I need to ask for that service even though Ive been there plenty of times and Ive never had to ask!! Im so frustrated and disappointed with their service and they were ok letting me walk out unhappy as long as they received that 125 for nothing!! A waste of my money and time!! The customer service sucks my appointment was scheduled at 5 with Hanna and because she had another lady I guess she knew she wanted to push my appointment back!! I always get my nails done and its disheartening when you have to write a bad review about a place you thought was very good and turns out they only had one good nail tech and she went back to school this fall!!😡

I came here for a full set and pedicure service. I have gotten my nails done a million times but this was one of the most expensive sets I’ve gotten which I wouldn’t have minded if the set wasn’t so disappointing. The gem design I got done came off within a few days. The nail shape wasn’t amazing and after 2 weeks the entire acrylic started to come off as if I was wearing press ons.

The entire atmosphere created through the interior, decoration, the music, the scent and of course the customer service is welcoming and relaxing. I was a little skeptical because they didnt have a website or a ton of reviews, but they were the closest place to me that was available for walk-ins on the day I wanted to come in for a pedicure. The women here are all so nice, professional, and talented! I got a pedicure ($40 regular, $50 deluxe) and gel manicure ($40, $25 for regular polish) here and this is the only place I will go to in South Bay. The vibes are also amazing-- I forgot to get a picture, but they have a super cute living wall garden! Definitely stop by here if you need your nails done, theyre the best.

I was a tired, traveling mama five needing a little pampering. I Googled nearby nail salons, and discovered Nail Bar whose positive reviews did not lie! I walked in to a pristine and tastefully decorated nail salon I was treated like a queen. Hannah and Tracy did their magic on my (neglected) feet and hands and I could not be more delighted with how they turned out. It wasn’t just the work they did but the atmosphere provided, complete with super relaxing massage chairs and sweet strawberries served on a plate that made this experience worth every penny (although it was very reasonably priced). No matter if you are traveling or a local, if you’re looking for a luxurious experience (without an exorbitant price tag!), do yourself a favor and find a seat in Nail Bar.

Kim did my nails and she did an amazing job... but they are a little steep with their pricing. Its $65 for a basic acrylic set. I got an ombre design so I ended up paying $80 plus a tip out the door... then 2 weeks later, I called back to get pricing for a fill and was quoted $45... for just a fill... 😬

For one, I was a bit late and they welcomed me in with open arms! 2. hannah who did my nails was very professional and gave me one of the greatest quality set of nails! I’ve been to many nail salons and the Nail Bar is absolutely my favorite! i’m definitely going to book with hannah again. 3. Tracy gave me a pedicure and it was a very smooth experience through it all. My favorite part is when they were able to do both my nails and feet at the same time. I felt spoiled! 4. Lien was very nice, she just started a conversation with me and had an outstanding attitude that made me feel very comfortable being here. My experience was worst there were 2 womens doing my hand nails and feet nails the one who did my hand was very fussy and was hardly able to understand English and so it was very difficult for me to explain what I want.And so I can ignore that part but what was most annoying factor was she was treating me badly like doing my nails painfully and when I asked it was hurtful she totally ignored and made faces after that when I asked her about designs she was getting irritated easily.She was not at all warm and patient and offcourse not at all welcoming infact this was my first nails done (acraylic) and she behaved so badly that I got totally scared of even saying or asking her anything.I think once your customer comes and want a service you should actually behave decently and not get so rude after all we are paying for the service and definitely want some decent behavior in return if not the good service.And she had no experience whatsoever she did not do nails also well while giving them shape she was painfully doing it and it’s still hurting.

I haven’t had a pedicure since January 2020, and have been so nervous about going anywhere with the pandemic, but Nail Bar was so diligent about observing safety measures and restrictions per a friend’s reassurance that I decided to try it. And I am so glad I did! Lin runs an amazing spot, and she and her staff are very careful- there were plexiglass dividers and we were masked the entire time, with sanitizer readily available. It was such a nice distraction from this difficult time to be pampered and get a gorgeous wine color for the holidays! We wore sandals so we could leave immediately without having to hang out too long. My nails look awesome- I will definitely be returning :)

Very expensive for the amount of work done on a basic manicure. With extra time and money the upgrades are the focus. The salon feels private and small, a bit hidden and quiet place to relax while getting pampered or polish your appearance. A clean, pretty, and attractive salon means less worry (about germs) and money well spent. The pizza restaurant is very highly recommended as well as a little shopping next door, or yoga on the other side helps to make treating yourself even more satisfying, body and soul.
