Stopped by on our way back to the city after a day in the East Bay. We ordered the Aloo Gobi on gluten free crust -- when we took our first bite, my husband and I simultaneously said oh no... as in, oh no, we will regularly risk traffic and pay the bridge toll to pick up this pizza again because it is THAT GOOD.What this place may lack in ambiance it makes up for in incredible, nuanced flavors and delicious gluten-free crust thats somehow both crispy and chewy. We are already making up excuses to be back to Oakland so we can order again...only wish we lived closer! :)

Best pizza I’ve ever had, and I really mean that. I first had their pizza in 2016, and they’ve never let me down. Even besides the novel flavors, this is just really good pizza. Amazing crust, perfect amount of cheese. My personal favorite is the mango monsoon.

Definitively the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life.The entire pie was BURIED in garlic and onion, it was inedible. Couldn’t make it through one slice. Offered it to a friend who also couldn’t stomach it. Was this a joke?

This is a hard pizza to review, because its like nothing else Ive had. First, it doesnt look like the menu pictures, which are more pizza-like. I ordered a Neapolitan pizza and added Italian sausage, mushroom and green pepper. The amount of toppings was great. I know there was a sauce under there, but its subtle. The crust is unusual, not a true pizza crust and while it has little flavor, it was good....I cant explain it. Other than needing a bit more salt, this pizza was delicious.

Very good pizza. Had a ton of toppings, which was nice as a lot of times pizza places skimp on the toppings. Flavours were very good and the pizza was cooked perfectly. But the Ranch was the best part. I love good ranch with my pizza. And this one really hit the spot! Overall a very good place.

After receiving a flyer for this pizza place, I thought Id give it a try. I love Indian food and I love a good pizza. On a very naan bread crust, Namaste pizza makes tandoori, curried, marsala, spicy mash-ups. I am definitely going to return and try other pizzas.

Usually I don’t go for anything other than a thin crust but this medium cheese was one of the best easy access neighborhood pizza I’ve had in all different cities. I cant say I can compare this to Cheeseboard, but you know, its local, non-mega franchise, and pretty good. The crust was slightly fried with the juicy fat from the cheese. The bread had quality. I shouldn’t be indulging due to pandemic inches but this was well worth it.

Delicious fusion of indian cuisine on top of pizza dough. The crust is relatively thin, though not quite thin-crust, which was a good balance to focus more on the indian flavors.Chicken Pizza Masala (4.5 out of 5): Really good mix of tikka masala spices on the chicken brings out a bold flavor. Got it medium spiciness level, which was not actually that spicy.Tandoorilicious (4.5 out of 5): Another solid indian flavor of tandoori grill flavor with deep bold grill flavoring and a good mix of indian spices.Mango Monsoon (3.75 out of 5): We got this one for our vegan friend, topped with vegan cheese. The vegan cheese, which as a category is usually quite bad, was actually decently good here which is quite a dificult feat to pull off. As a vegan pizza, it was actually quite great, but compared to the other non-vegan dishes I mentioned above, I think the others were more flavorful.

This pizza is just plain and simplify put... Good. Fresh, delicious, and as they say on the sticker on the box... It is excellent the next day. Try it, you wont regret it.First, I have to say I really like their pizza flavors (and Im not alone) - the chicken pizza masala is awesome.However, my last order left me a bit sad for two reasons:1. The delivery person called back accusing us of not paying enough in cash. I can understand the frustration losing a $20 can cause and the resulting call back. Both me and my wife know for a fact the stack of over $60 was absolutely correctly counted. I dont hold this against them and wish we counted it when we exchanged pizzas for cash. Going to pay closer attention next time - you, the reader, should as well.2. Our beloved chicken pizza masala had hair in it, embedded in the cheese - not one hair but two long hairs, in two different slices - we had to throw away. Evidence attached.Notice I did not subtract a lot of stars for this! Because I like their pizza THAT much and hope they fix the issue and continue to sell their lovely pizza.**** They have to enforce using __hair nets__ when making the pies! ****Looking forward to a reply confirming the above and will update my review accordingly, and eating their pizza again (call me crazy, but I will still order it)!

The prices on the website aren’t what you will be charged. I think they decided to charge the same prices that the delivery services charge even when you drive over to pick it up yourself. Not a good move. I was a fan of this spot…not sure now.

Namaste is all about the pizza, ambiance not so much. They have a unique variety of pizzas and some of the classics everyone loves but their sauce.....Fuhgettaboutit... the Best.They also have this very unique dessert dish Featuring apricots. All Im gonna say, you gotta try it.This place handles a lot of delivery orders so theyre fast. Right on San Pablo Avenue. North Oakland Emeryville border.

If you like Indian flavors and spices, then this is the best place for Indian style Pizzas. They have some of the best pizzas! They have a lot of options for you to try out. It’s not a dine in place, only for pick ups and delivery. A lot of vegetarian options as well. I am confidently say that the Indian styles pizzas as even better than the pizzas you get in india ! My Son and Daughter-in-law were visiting a few days ago, and we all were thinking about ordering in. I had seen reviews of Namaste and also received a menu. All of us enjoy the flavors of India, and we were eager to give this place a go. Best pizza ever!!!! Had the vegetarian and the chicken masala and topped it off with mango lassi. I made the mistake of adding garlic to the pizza order.The pizza had large chunks of raw garlic everywhere which made it difficult to eat more than 2 bites.Middle was soggy (picked up the order fresh) and the slices fell apart.Crust was only edible part, and that tasted good. So 2 stars.

I love Namaste Pizza. I wish they had more locations open across the country. The staff is incredibly nice and the pizzas are amazing.I do have to confess I am vegetarian but I do know all my friends who have eaten their non vegetarian pizza also loved the pizzas. It’s incredible and my mouth is just watering as I think about Namaste Pizza and write this review.And by the way my mom who is uber picky about eating out, when she visited me I took her here and she also really liked it. Trust me it’s hard to please Indian moms about outside food. Anyways try this place and you will not regret it.

Had the spicy gyro pizza and masala wings. Very tasty, seasoned correctly, and textures were good. Ordered the pizza spicy and it had a good burn after 3 slices (heat builds slowly in background). Only small complaint is that crust wasnt super chewy, I kind of like that old school East Coast style pizza dough texture.

Did not like the taste of vegetarian pizza! Not my type of place. We have found a chicken piece on our vegetarian pizza.. not a good thing for a strict vegetarian like me, very disappointed. Not sure how do they prepare food in their kitchen, feels like there is no separation between veg and non veg meal preparation.

The staff at the register was very friendly when I asked about the menu and steered me to their Chicken Masala pizza.Although they dont sell by the slice, if you ask for it they can make you a personalized sized pizza (~8 in diameter).The pizza itself was very good, with a crispy crust, and good flavor.

When I arrived; the merchant was showing my pizza to another customer who had questions about my type of pizza. He didnt know I was next in line to recieve that very pizza.. He literally opened the box to let the customer look inside and the customer did not have a mask on! Also, the merchant let the customer lean in to get a closer look. I then had to tell the merchant that he was showing my order to another customer. Totally unsanitary and merchant didnt seem to care; as he didnt know that I was watching the whole time. I will never order from there again!!!!

I used to LOVE this place and am returning to update my review because something has changed. We recently ordered a pizza and it seemed different. First time at Namaste. Their website didnt work to order pickup. Then, when I ordered from doodah, it arrived in less than 15 minutes like it was either premade or a rejected pizza. It arrived cold, undercooked, and with onions even though I ordered it without. The garlic sauce was bland and the spicy sauce was creamy and had zero heat. The pizza tasted nothing like Tikka Masala and the chicken was completely dry and flavorless. Super disappointed and will never go back. Wish I could give ZERO STARS!

The plaza itself is roomy with plenty of parking. Do keep in mind, though, that the area isnt brightly lit, so drive with caution. The restaurant is huge with many booths and television sets which would make for a great spot to watch a game. As for service, the owner and his employees were friendly, greeting me with a smile and offering 10% off with google check-in.

The Aloo Gobi pizza is absolutely amazing! The sauce is spicy and so flavorful! The toppings are plentiful, which I appreciate. So good! Our roommate brought home a chicken tikka pizza (so far still our fave) and we just had to go get our own. We got a veggie paneer and it was also so delicious. The paneer in particular was delicious and I kept catching myself picking pieces off other slices. 😋 Its a little hidden on San Pablo, but they deliver (fairly far too, were over on Fruitvale). Definately give this place a try!
