Step into this delightful Indian grocery and food shop in Thousand Oaks, and youll quickly realize its not your ordinary store or restaurant. Its a unique hybrid thats a true jack of all trades and a master of creating an unforgettable experience.Lets talk about what makes this place stand out. Sure, their individual offerings might not be the absolute best in their respective categories, but heres the magic: the sum of all they provide is greater than what youd find elsewhere.First off, youve got the convenience factor covered. Their selection of fast food items at the counter means you can grab a quick and tasty bite while shopping for your groceries. Its a double win! Speaking of groceries, they offer a fantastic array of Indian foodstuffs thatll make any home cooks heart sing. But thats not all. On a sunny day in Thousand Oaks, you can enjoy your meal in the great outdoors. The seating area is beautifully decked out with fun Indian touches like an auto rickshaw, colorful wood benches, red scooter, shamiyana, and even a trucks front. Its like a mini vacation to India without leaving town.If you prefer the indoors, theyve got you covered too with decent seating. Plus, theres free parking and easy access from the highway, making your visit a breeze. Staff is quite friendly too!And heres the kicker: they once hosted a pretty nice and free Kathak show right in their parking lot! Thats the kind of extra flair that makes this place truly special. Now, lets talk about the star of the show – the chat. If youre willing to make a 30-minute drive just for their chat, that tells you how amazing it is. Thats the power of this place. It offers something so good that its worth the journey.Overall, this place is an absolute gem. It might not be the best at any one thing, but its the sum of all its wonderful parts that make it shine. It will also not break your bank.So if youre in Thousand Oaks and want an exceptional experience thats easy on the wallet, this is the place to be. Five stars for the fun, flavor, and fantastic finds!🌟🛒🍛😋

We came here for the first time today and everyone was so friendly. We’re on a diet where we can’t have bread or rice and the man taking our order was so kind and quick to accommodate us. The food is delicious and very flavorful and the atmosphere is peaceful and light. Portions were great and we’ll absolutely be coming here again!

A million stars. I have grown to absolutely love this cozy little spot. The food is incredible especially if you are going for vegan, vegetarian or gluten free options in Thousand Oaks. I come from Agoura Hills a few times a week at least because there’s nothing else like it.The people there are the nicest and most helpful staff you will ever encounter. Best part is the vibe throughout the whole spot is so chill. I find myself experiencing all sorts of random encounters with other patrons that are so genuine and refreshing. This place brings out the best in people. There are no strangers here. Go and see for yourself and you won’t leave disappointed.

A well stocked place. I was pleasantly surprised when I got Elaichi Dana (called sweet Makhana here) which I needed for my prasad, during my visit to the US.Loved the Aloo Paratha. A nice, cozy place with flavours of India.

Lovely little market! The scent of delicious food and spices fill your nostrils upon first step inside. The person manning the sweets let us taste a few things, which made it a wonderful experience. We did get a few sweets to take home! There was a wait for the food so that is a good sign. Ill be back!

First of all, the people are great, warm welcoming and the place is super litt.Coming to the real deal - food .Vast menu, they have lots to chose from the indian cuisine.I tried pav bhaji, masala dosa and there combo which had two veggies, pickles, rice, samosa and some raita.Pav bhaji was great, seemed fresh and was flavorful, probably justifies the most of the positive side of review.Coming to dosa, it was a big no, it was hard, not evenly cooked, sambhar was thick and didnt quite had the authentic taste . Not at all recommended. The combo, the vegetables werent that hot that it should be when served, the rajma was like thick and had lost the charm it has with the rice, i loved paneer lababdar though, the other disappointment was the garlic naan, so basically i was expecting a fresh tandoori garlic naan but it was just a trader joes kinda plain naan with garlic sticked to it ( not impressed) . Samosa on the other hand felt like homemade, not so oily and tasted really good. They have a nice patio kinda seating with nice desi vibes and nice lights.

We have now shopped and bought food several times. First the grocery store needs to stock up on a few essential items so that they don’t run out. Some of the chaat items need to be tweaked so they taste better. Tamarind chutney is very tangy with very little sweetness and not enough salt. Same goes for Samosa and other chutneys. This is our go to place for a lot of things as we just moved here so I’m really hoping that owners take notice and make conscious effort to improve.

What a great find! Vegetarian authentic Indian food and market. The lunch was out of the world. So much food for such a good price. We will definitely be going back.
