Namaste is really good sounding word in Nepali language and so does this food truck. They kept their name according to their customers service. I really enjoyed the food and that food was best food of the town. Located near San Jose, this food truck will never let you down.I will highly recommend you to go there with your friends and family.

One of my favorite meals in the Bay Area. Tons of veggie options. We got the chowmein, paneer chilis, and veggie rolls. Food came out in minutes on a Saturday night.
Food tastes decent. But very very oily.Veg momos tasted pretty good, but there was oil flowing out of it if you break it. Are momos not supposed to be filled with steamed veggies, or stir fry at the max? It was more than deep friend - it just had oil flowing.Fried Rice tasted goodVeg manchurian was quite bad. The manchurian balls had soaked the oil. Oil was oozing out as you try to cut it with a fork.
Very tasty -- the soup was great on the cold night I had it, and the dumplings were an added benefit. The sauces they provide are excellent, and food itself is such a great deal. An excellent stop for a quick bite or pick-up.
If you’ve never had Nepalese food - it’s basically Indian + Chinese food. You’ll want to try their Momos and Chow Mein.Namaste is a Food Truck, so expect to be eating outside. They have a small outdoor dining area which could be bigger, but it’s all right for a mid-day picnic. The Chow Mein (I know, what’s special about chow mein) is well prepared and has a nice wok aroma. You’ll also want to get refills on the sauce that comes with the chow mein. I’m really not sure what it is - I’ve been told it’s a combination of dozens of ingredients - but it elevates the dish to another level.Also of note is their mango lassi. Even if I werent hungry, Id make a pit stop here for the lassi.

In short, everything was super.❤️ Veggie Manchurian was superb, finally a place with real Manchurian and not just gobi Manchurian and the spices were just perfect❤️ Veggie fried rice with manchurian was great as well, really liked that they gave some extra sauces on the side and they were delicious😀 Veggie Thupka was a very positive, good vibes thingy, I was having it for the first time and really loved it. I am definitely gonna have it again.
Gave us chicken momos when we asked for veggie momos. The chow mein and veggie fried rice were terrible. I dont think I have eaten worse Nepali food.
Located in mountain view, I gave this a try last year as well. This time ordered a chicken thukpa, veg chowmein and chicken manchurian.Thukpa was piping hot, average in taste and good value for money taking into consideration the portion that was served.Chicken manchurian was no where close to what manchurian is like in reality. Discarded it.Chowmein was dry and had no authentic flavours. Discarded it as well!
Its all good and you can get vegetarian versions of you want. Manchurian chicken and chili chicken are the same if you get them both spicy.

Delicious Nepalese food! The momos (dumplings) are soft and flavorful, with the veggie dumplings very distinct from the chicken. Fried rice is very generously portioned, but is mostly rice. Staff is helpful and prices are reasonable.

The food here is very good. They take suggestions and are okay to customize food according to your need. For ex: you can ask them to make it spicy, saucy, dryer, ask for separate packaging. You can even customize the quantity of food here. For ex: you can order 12 pieces of momo or one extra piece of chicken lollipop and they would accommodate it. They have a wide variety of options and I have tasted almost everything from here and all of it tastes good. Obviously, everyone has their own taste preference and thus I would recommend everyone to try fried chicken momos, chicken lollipop and chowmein from here for sure. The people are very good and soft spoken. Definitely try once.
The rice in fried rice was a little undercooked and the veg Manchurian balls was way undercooked.

Absolutely delicious food prepared fresh. I had the chicken chow mein. They did not skimp on ingredients, and it was PACKED with flavor. They provided a substantial serving, which is great for splitting. Price is super fair (low teens), especially for a dinner. Highly recommend!
This food will remind many Indians of what was called Chinese food in India. I ate something like this after 15 years and enjoyed it. The volume of food was good for $12 vegetarian option but way too oily. And hence only 4 stars. Dripping in oil unfortunately.

We ordered chicken momos and the chicken lollipop. Really liked the food. Their chutneys are amazing and make the food taste much better. The filling for momos was tasty and not at all bland like some other places. Chicken lollipop was nice and crispy. It wasn’t spicy though but we made it spicy using the chutneys;) Overall a great experience. Would definitely try other dishes later.

I was disappointed with the food. I had chicken fried rice and I repented as with the same money I could have got a much better meal from Panda Express.The chicken was hard and I felt it was quite old. Also the taste and flavour was not great. While I support small businesses and would love to help them, they should improve the quality and taste of food for me to go back again.
Not recommended for vegetarians. Same vassals are used for veg and non veg food so if you are pure vegetarian than this place is not recommended.

Overall, the food was okay. We ordered 3 dishes ( chicken lollipop, fried chicken momos, vegetable manchurian). Out of all 3, the chicken was my favorite. The momos were okay nothing particular great about them maybe the regular momos would have been better. I think i was expecting something different from the fried momos.The vegetable manchurian was okay.
This is definitely my favorite food truck in the city. Situated right next to Castro/downtown Mountain View, the food truck offers delicious and high quality food for very decent prices. In particular, their chicken fried rice is absolutely incredible-- flavorful and filled with spices. Their chicken/veggie momos are also amazing, and I would absolutely recommend this food truck to neighbors.
I went here after seeing great reviews but the food was unsatisfactory. I had fried rice with Manchurian and veg fried Momo. I didnt like both of them. Fried rice was too dry and hard, and Momo filling texture was like mashed potatoes. There are many better food truck around. In terms of price I find this to be the cheapest option so probably thats reflected in quality.

Best place in the entire Bay area to get momos. For those who dont know whats that, those are steam cooked dumplings. They come with various fillings, being vegetarians we tried the vegetarian ones and Im not exaggerating it at all, they were so flavorful and yummy. Equally good are the veggie Manchurian. We thought the paneer chilly was just about okay. But this food truck is only going to soar higher. Great place to come by yourself or just with friends. Service is very quick and meticulous.
The dishes these folks serve are absolutely delicious, it is a fantastic mix of North Indian and Chinese flavors. I have tried many of the non-vegetarian options and thinking about them makes my mouth water. The vegetarian options look tasty too. I think this is one of the best places to eat near Castro Street, and is definitely the best taste-to-cost ratio Ive found in Mountain View. The chilli chicken chowmein is amazing, as long as youre ok with spicy food :-D
So I wanted to water to rate this place since I actually genuinely love their food and the flavors. But unfortunately, after 4 visits I have to leave a comment about the service, every time I go with my significant other they always, without fail, get the order wrong, even if its as simple as two orders of nom spicy chicken chow mei, theyll make them both super spicy . They constantly ignore people asking for updates on their orders because they say itll take 10/15 minutes but anyone can end up waiting 25/45 minutes long for even a simple order, I simply dont recommend coming herez theyre rude, ignore people z and dont care about custot service, as well as cant get an order correct for the life of them, this happened to multiple people in line as well unfortunately
We tasted the veggie momos and manchurian veggie fried rice. Both were really good. We asked the guy to make it spicy assuming he might otherwise make it mild and it turned out to be a good decision. Will definitely come again

Really good food! Ive been here twice now and have tried most of the stuff on the menu. Its all really good, but the chicken lolipops and chow mein are particularly good. The chow mein has a different flavor profile from most (Americanized) Chinese restaurants, its very good. Also, they have a great mango lassi. This place is open late which is nice. It is pretty slow though. I will definitely be back.
Best comfort food of all times. Momos, chowmiens and eggrolls is my regular order. If you are a spicy food enthusiast you should let the know that you like it spicy. They do ask for spice levels themselves.Additionally the place is open late till 11pm so thats always an added advantage . Would definitely recommend this place !
We tried their veggie stuff - momos, chowmein, manchurian, fried rice, roll. All good. Loved their chai. Food prep takes some time, but worth the small wait. Good packaging for takeaway. Parking nearby allows you to stay in your car while you wait, but there are also some tables and chairs next to the truck.

I got the chicken thupka. Looking at the reviews, Im thinking I ordered the wrong thing.... The noodles were soggy and not springy. Disappointing. The momos were better but still soggy.

Conveniently located at Shoreline and El Camino Real. Ive been there a couple of times in the evening. Ive only tried their vegetarian/egg dishes, and they have all been mediocre. The veggie noodles were the best. The veggie & egg fried rice was ok, as were their veggie dumplings (momos). The veggie Manchurian was absolutely boring. Both the momos and the veggie Manchurian were made with chopped vegetable balls, so they had no unique flavor or texture. Very disappointing.
One of the finest place to have indo-chinese cusine. It will give you nostalgic feeling of having Chinese in India. I love their Momos, didnt had such Momos anywhere in Bay area. Veg Manchurian, fried rice and chowmein is nice. Its a small food truck, so you might find it crowded, although there are few tables out for seating.

Large quantities of food, great for sharing, excellent paneer in dishes, great if you like spicy food. Our go-to is the paneer fried rice, chili paneer, gobi Manchurian, and veg momos. Also has nice outdoor seating if you want a place to eat outside. Make sure you grab some hot sauce and momo sauce if you take it to go.
Ordered chicken chowmien for my first-time experience here. Generous portion and tasty, peppery flavor. Simple plastic tables outside if you wanted to sit and eat. At first, I ordered chicken momo but decided against it after. The cook was kind enough to switch my order. While eating, I looked up Nepali cuisine and learned that chow mien is a favorite dish among Nepali. I looked up from my eating and found people around me equally enjoying their meal. I’d like to come back for the chicken momo.

If you want to try AMAZING authentic Nepali food, this is it. I am from Nepal and have lived there many years and the momo and chowela there is as good as what youll get in Nepal. Definitely give this a try. This is not an Indian food truck by any means but Ive heard they do a pretty good job. Must try the Nepali food! Ask them if you dont know which is Nepali or Indian food.
The veggie Momo is the best Ive had in this country (and Ive had Momos in a lot of places). Theyre open late so perfect for a cold night to warm you right up with the flavor and hot sauce.
Very good momo though a bit smaller than what I am used to. The noodle soup was good also. However, the noodle in the soup appeared to be not hand pulled. It also looked like ramen noodle. I suppose this is different than Tibetan noodle soup.The go-to place for this type of food is in Frankfurt, Germany (havent been to Tibet yet), Tibetan Ama Kitchen... We ordered catering from Namastee Nepal and the whole company loved it. They said the food was delicious and interesting. We ordered the lollipops, chow mein, vegetarian rolls, white rice and vegetable fried rice. The trays were scrapped clean and people took hone leftovers. In addition the prices were shockingly reasonable and the ordering was very hassle free. If you want to taste Nepali Food and the delicious street food then this is the best place for you to stop over. They serve by small food truck and people can sit over and enjoy the outside climate while having their food.Cons: If it is raining don’t plan to here, you will get wet.
This place is progressively becoming worse. Food quality is not what it used to be. Also long waits even after you call in advance. Add 10 mins to the time they say on phone. There are other indo-Chinese food trucks in the sunnyvale area which are much better.
I have traveled all over Nepal, have many Nepali friends, and will soon be married to the most amazing Nepali man, so I know what good Nepali food tastes like. The food, especially the MoMo, at Namaste Food Truck is some of the most delicious I have ever tasted! It beats any restaurant I have ever been to and is almost as good as the street vendors in Kathmandu. Highly recommended!!!
This is probably the one place in bay area where you probably get the best indo Chinese food. I have been to this food truck 3 times and never been disappointed once with the momos and chowmein. Instead of going to fancy restaurant for a subpar food I will highly recommend trying the food here.

Nice little food truck with lots of parking available. It has some tables to eat at but you should probably take your food to go. Food is very good and you can actually order it to be spicy unlike other restaurants who claim to have spicy food but is not.

Momos are their specialty. The food is tasty, service is fairly quick and the prices are quite reasonable. Whats not to like?
Amazing place to have Momos and noodles. Must try chilli Momos ( sause chicken mono). One of the best ever had.
I think this place is overrated. Food is very spicy. Make sure to ask for mild. I have eaten here multiple times and felt the portions were always small for the price.
Consistently good chicken momos. The other items on the menu arent so. Checking in on Yelp gets you a cup of tea, which I dont miss ever.

Good food.But had to wait over 1 hour for a Momo and chicken order. All the people ahead of me were annoyed that they to wait an hour to get served.
The vegetables in my fried rice tasted incredibly fresh. And it seemed to have less oil than what Im accustomed to getting from Chinese restaurants.

Im giving them 5 stars because:1) They were SLAMMED tonight (3 workers against about 24 people) and still pushing out orders2) Theyre better tasting/more worth it than Panda Express, some big name place etc.3) The food itself and sauces are interesting and filling4) Theyre open till 11 and you cant really get meals like that late at night5) The employees are polite
There Momos are okish, but Id strongly suggest their chicken loli pop. Items are little bit over priced, but are worth giving a shot.

This was super close to where I was living so super cool to see a good food option nearby.Good:- Loved the chilli chicken momos - some of the best Ive had! 10/10- The veggie manchurian rolls were amazing! 10/10 would get again - great texture and the flavor was surprising- The chicken lollipops were good but a bit dry 5/10- I also liked the paneer fried rice but it lacked some basic flavor 4/10Bad:- Takes a while for food to be ready- Simple tables for seating - nothing fancy and no frills- Staff who took the order seemed to be a bit less patient with meOverall was really good of an experience and would come back! Unique fusion food and good food truck quality.

Can’t say it was authentic dish because there was something missing in taste but still it was good compared to other places I have tried.veg Manchurian - I saw others reviews about this dish and decided to asked them to make it less oily and they did make it perfect dish. Compared to other places I didn’t enjoyed this dish very much but it’s ok.Taste 👅 wise I would give 3/5 stars because Manchurian balls were little uncooked or maybe I didn’t enjoyed them because they were little sticky and chewy.Quantity wise it was ok. Dish had about 6 to 7 Manchurian balls.Maybe next time I will visit to try other veg options they have.

These were some of the most delicious dumplings I’ve ever had! They were flavorful and the texture was perfect! I will definitely be returning here to try out the rest of the menu!

2021-12-15 18:10:51Namaste Nepal food truck is one the top food trucks which has desi touch for the good. The spices are so perfect that you cant expect more. Veg Manchurian is simply amazing and my friends say the spicy chicken lollipop is best lollipop they had in bay area. Must try.Price is reasonable.There is limited seating, best way is you go by car and eat inside the car.

It’s a nice food truck with 2-3 tables for seating.We tried veggie momos, noodles, and chicken roll.I loved the noodles with manchurian and the chicken roll. Good quantity and taste.Momos were okay, I have had better. I guess I was looking for the Delhi momo taste but since this is a Nepalese food truck, can’t complain much! 😛

2018-07-31 23:17:21Great good truck! They have a small menu but its perfect. Spicy and very close to Indian street food. We had vegetarian momos, chilli paneer and Veg chowmein. Everything was very well made and we enjoyed it all! Will definitely some back whenever I visit bay area.

2021-08-25 13:46:28Tried this Nepalese food truck on Shoreline boulevard in Mountain View. Ordered a chicken chow mein and chicken momo. Servings were generous, so what is pictured on my plate is just a portion of what is provided.The chicken chow mein was very tasty and similar to what you might find in and excellent Chinese restaurant. Flavorful, but not greasy.The chicken momo is even more exquisite. Soft, moist, and delicate exterior with a juicy filling. Even more tasty with the sauces. Both sauces were flavorful so I ended up alternating between the two.Highly recommend, and will be back.
