This place is great! Sushi was tasty and fresh, and service was excellent, what more can you want. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and helped. Make sure to visit if you’re in the area!

Terrific Sushi 🍣🍣 place! We were looking to try a new place and all the positive Google reviews landed us here. Started with their signature Namisen roll and the Ceviche. Delicious and the Ceviche was one of the best ones Ive ever had! Hubby ordered the Tempura Udon which he loved (also comes with a 4-piece CA Roll). Also ordered the Sashimi Combo B (the larger size) and everything tasted so fresh. Finished off with the Asparagus Tempura which was also very good. Small place and the one server did a great job getting everyone taken care of. May become our Sushi Go-To spot. So many other items on the menu and on the board we want to try. 😋😋

Wow! Where do I start? First of all Im certainly a sushi snob and only eat at the best sushi places and not a American roll eater. When I first walked in I was greeted with some awesome smiling Thai faces and sat at the counter. My first concern was there were no Japanese chefs but often foreigners go to Japan and learn to make sushi. In this case they had learned fron a Japanese chef.I started with the Otoro (tuna belly) which was perfect. I mean perfect rice, temperature and fish cut correctly. Next was Hotate (Scallop) which was also excellent. Then Salmon, unagi, and finished with Uni imported from Hokkaido! All were perfect and a nice miso soup. I finished my beer and join in for some sake bombs for the perfect evening. Great food made by happy Thai friends you really cant go wrong. Happy workers, pefect ingredients makes tasty food.Did I mention the excellent service? Everything was perfect for me but another customer complained about his order and the asked nicely if they could make it over? And in about 5 min he had a new dish exactly how he wanted it. I found out later that person is a regular customer but I got the feeling they would do for anyone. Great service, great food, happy people! What could be better?

Great hole in the wall sushi place! I wasnt expecting much to be honest but I was pleasantly surprised. Their sashimi and sushi is really fresh! Happy Hours everyday. Had the shrimp tempura and Takoyaki for appetizers. The Chirashi bowl was prepared real nice. Namisen Special Roll is very good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Easy free parking too. Will definitely come back.

This is the first time Im ever leaving a review.This place was amazing. Hole in the wall, cozy atmosphere. Real plates and glass.And the food... the food was so good that everyone, including my 3 young children, ordered extra sushi and soup.This place is what a restaurant is supposed to be in every way.

Alright, HANDS-DOWN the best sushi place in the valley. This restaurant is fairly new but has some of the freshest, most satisfying sushis and rolls Ive ever had. The chefs are very nice and friendly. Id truly recommend the Garlic Edamame, BSC Roll, Toro Sushi, and Uni Sushi. I was brave enough to let the chefs surprise me and they definitely did not disappoint! I highly recommend this place. Trust me, youll enjoy the food!

Namisen Sushi is a welcoming neighborhood sushi spot with friendly staff and fantastic fish. Food is prepared with care and is delivered with delight. The environment is comfortable and upbeat. There is plenty to choose from regardless of your sushi appetite. Expect the feel of an eatery in Asia, not LA or the SFV. This is definitely our new goto spot.

Impressed by all of the positive reviews and we were NOT disappointed!! The BEST shrimp tempura, fresh and tasty sushi, attentive and friendly chefs and server! We went early and enjoyed seats at the bar, undivided attention and took advantage of some “early-bird specials” as well! Definitely will be a spot we will return to!!!

Such fresh sushi and great selections. What they advertise on the menu is what they look like, and the menu offers chefs specials. Happy hour is always great value for money. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Price point is excellent and the sushi is always fresh. We usually get the Udon noodle, which includes California roll and a few pieces of veggie tempura. The broth is excellent! The appetizer baked mackerel is one of our favorites! Which comes with a small salad. So delicious you wont be disappointed. And Combo Sushi B, with the choice of California roll or spicy tuna. We always get the spicy tuna. Thank you Namisen you are the best!

Fun and friendly staff. Korean TV programs and K-pop are the ambiance but the staff are not Korean. Food is reasonably priced and quality is there.

If you like some spicy with your sushi. Come here. The Thai chefs are very experienced and can make some bomb thai spicy sushi. They can drink and entertain the customers. Get the haru roll.

This was found on a quick search for sushi nearby for lunch. Their menu had a good variety of dishes, from sushi rolls to udon and Japanese curry. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the seafood was fresh. Food came out fast, and the restaurant wasnt too crowded. The price was reasonable. I would eat here again when Im back in the area next time.

Went for a pickup meal for my family and it was amazing food. fresh everything, not too crazy for cali rolls usually but theirs were obviously made fresh and tasted delicious. Husband loved the Udon so much that he said it could be his favorite he ever had! highly recommend!

This place deserves 5 stars for many reasons. They have a great happy hour, it’s pretty darn good, and the service was fantastic. The server took care of the whole place with a smile. Always had anything I needed. Some servers at other restaurants can’t even handle two tables 🙄 this server was amazing!! I’d come back just because she treated a single gal like I was a full table. Often times as a solo eater I get overlooked and poor service. Please come support them! They deserve it. I’ll definitely be back!

Fresh fish. Great service. We usually go to Katsuya and in comparison this was not a disappointment. We live in Simi and have been looking for a great little sushi spot. We will definitely be going back.

Namisen Sushi is new from about September 2021, and I believe that it is now the BEST local sushi bar in the area. I grew up in this area but moved away; however, I plan to come back to Namisen EVERY time that I come back to visit my Mother. They have a wide variety of fish that is super fresh and very talented sushi chefs that make for a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend! The parking is free and easy too!
