Great experience from the service to the food and drinks. The staff and cooks were very kind and efficient. We had the crazy boy, diablo roll, and the baked salmon. They were all so delicious. The drink was a dragon fruit margarita, very delicious too. Thank you for the great experience!!!

Above and Beyond, So many choices cant go wrong, friendly staff, clean, atmosphere perfect. You definitely have to try the spicy edamame, display of menu is perfect and if questions needed to be answered the staff is definitely very very helpful. More than enough for two people when you order, make sure you take some home. Definitely a must if you are in Hemet.

This has personally been one of the best sushi spots in town to go to. The prices are reasonable and the rolls are incredible as well as delicious. You get your moneys worth every single time here. The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean and stylish.

The food is delicious, and full of flavor. You will not be disappointed. Outdoor seating and they have good intrumental music playing. It was very enjoyable, really nice staff and very relaxing environment. I would definitely come again.I also had the Mexican miso soup and it has a little kick to it but perfect and fill of flavor.

I spent $100 on sushi rolls and they were all horrible scallops were nasty and on each one the put the shredded crab on them I couldn’t tell what roll was what it looked like the same thing I got 4 different rolls they all tasted the same .I got take out as well and I called no one answered I drove 14 miles away because I accidentally ordered at the wrong place so I needed my order fixed and no one ever answered. Check your order at the place make sure you ask for sauce I didn’t have any just soy sauce .

It’s my first time here, waiting for my order and excited to eat the food. Why am I giving it a 2 star if I haven’t tried it? Well because I think it’s ridiculous that they say to wait outside while they prepare our $80 order which will be about a 25 minute wait. Theres plenty of seating inside. I honestly don’t think it’s okay to let your paying customers wait outside. Maybe provide chairs for us to sit on???Anyway, If the food is good, I’ll change the star rating.

The food was just alright. Its nothing to go home and brag about. This place is for beginners. The menu had very limited options for raw sushi. I ordered the crispy salmon roll, it is served hot, and the salmon tasted like canned salmon. The mixed tempura was good. You get your moneys worth of veggies and shrimp. I will not come back here.

I was so sad that I ordered sushi “sexy” and it was with beef, rare beef, which I hate, I didn’t say anything, but my mood was so bad that waiter didn’t say anything. That it isn’t typical sushi. In the menu it was like, New York outside, I even didn’t know that it’s beef. I think you should say to guests or highlight that sushi with meat….

Best Sushi Rolls in town! If you love spicy, you must try the Diablo Roll. It is amazingly good! My kids love the sushi here and also agree this is the best sushi in town. We have tried many others but cant compare to the freshness and great selection of rolls on the menu. Dine in or call your order ahead for take out. Dont forget to try the spicy or the garlic edamame. They are both super delicious!

So.. hit this place up for my birthday with my family, seating was limited to the sushi bar due to a large party having reserved most of the seating. Well..it was good, good, great, delicious and surprisingly fresh.I would have been absolutely happy with miso soup and a side of white rice (miso was extremely flavorful and filled to the brim, rice was sticky, hot and flavorful) but we delved into the gyoza to start off the evening. The gyoza came hot and well crisped (fried). Next came the sushi..don’t know what I had since the family ordered but there was a dish that had thinly cut lemon slices on top, I was a bit confused with this presentation and almost passed but at the insistence of my wife, I went for it....oh wow, wow, wow, the sushi with the lemon slice was out of this world, the creaminess of the roll itself (I think it had shrimp in the middle) was mind blowing, an explosion of flavor. Every dish we had was a delicious mix of fresh fish, flavorful rice...but those sake bombs man (beer and sake). Man I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Great place. Not all you can eat. Quail shooter not that great. Sushi pieces have good cuts with perfect amount of rice. They do have uni but we didnt get to try (despite being told, initially, they had it) because they said it didnt come today. Sweet shrimp was really good too(pic below). Their poke bowl was amaze balls. They have a spicey crispy rice that was super good too. Some piece prices were quite high. Really should consider doing an all you can eat menu. Rolls are amazing. Miso superb! They should hire a bus person to help waiters out. Nice spot in Hemet. Definately will be back.

Service:Service was good the waiter was attentive and friendly. He kept checking up on us making sure everything was good and if we needed anything. It seemed a little strange that they have the entrance close and you must wait to be seated but then again it’s hemet so it doesn’t really surprise me.Food:Appetizers:We had the garlic edamame. I was expecting real garlic either fresh or the one that’s comes in a jar at least that. Instead it was steamed edamame with a pile of garlic powder. I couldn’t taste anything but the garlic powder and it burned. We also ordered jalapeño poppers. They were ok nothing really special. The jalapeño were raw and hard. It seem to be sorta half way cut and smeared with what seemed to be soggy tempura. Drowning in eel sauce spicy Mayo. Sitting on a weird bed of lettuce. The presentation was interesting to say the least.Food:We ordered a few rolls to share.Tried the Baked scallop roll. It was basically a giant California roll with a small thin slice of cucumber with no avocado buried under a pile of surimi. On top of the surimi was small penny size coins of scallops and also weird size pieces of some type of white fish. Garlic shrimp baked once again was disappointed and grossed out. It was ok it was missing the green onions but better than the other rolls. I drank my coke trying to get rid of the disgusting taste of garlic powder out of my mouth. Unfortunately it lingered until the next day.I love sushi I’ve been to good and bad places. I can honestly say this place was not good. It was not worth $100 we paid. I rather go somewhere else that makes a descent roll. We should have left when we got the garlicky powder edamame. But you live and learn. I don’t recommend this place.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. I wanted to go to Hana but my lady didnt want to drive so we took a chance on this place because of a couple of other positive reviews. I can say the fish was fresh and thick. There are some really creative rolls on the menu for a reasonable price. If you are craving sushi give them a try. I know we will be back.

This place needs to close their doors. I purposely will come here early, like 4:30, and they can never seat me. They always say they are understaffed and too buys. I drive about 15 minutes to get here and the last three times they turn me away. I’m a 30% tipper too. After about two months of trying to eat here (and getting seated maybe twice) I GIVE UP!!!

We felt 100% safe to dine out on their back patio converted into a dining area. Good lighting and they even had little heaters for cooler evenings. We got there before 5pm and there were already quite a few people at the restaurant (always a good sign). We were greeted promptly and asked if we wanted a booth or the bar. We chose to sit at the bar since we didnt have our kids with us.The place is very clean and appointed nicely. Almost immediately, we were given a plate with wasabi, ginger, and pickled cucumbers. A nice little touch to clean our palates.After perusing the menu and getting the lowdown on the happy hour specials (they have good deals there), we settled on a baked scallop roll, seared tuna sushi, and a rainbow roll.We got our sodas come, which come in HUGE cups - a nice touch since it we never ran out (I hate having to hunt down a waiter for a refill.) Just a few minutes passed and we got our first roll, closely followed by the rest of our order. The rolls were really big, with generous portions of fish. They all were so tasty! If you like Samurai sushi at the mall, this place has bigger portions, better flavor, and WAY better service. We have found a new gem in town. We will be back for sure!

We have recently discovered this place since we just moved here to Hemet. Food is great so we have been eating here twice per week. Unfortunately we had a bad experience on 8/5/21 our daughter is allergic to fish so she took a salad from somewhere else and thought about joining us here while we eat sushi... The minute we walked in we were greeted by a young latino guy and was quick to tell us that we could not bring the salad in! I was shocked since I didnt see any signs stating such and we made it clear that we were going to take the salad container and trash with us.. We were quickly turned away and had to leave.. But I guess it worked out good at the end because it gave us an opportunity to explore other places. We ended up going to Samurai sushi by the mall, we were kindly greeted and they did not have a problem with my daughter eating her salad there!.. Definitely going back to Samurai and it will be a while till we decide to go back to Nanami.

This place gives off an extremely negative vibe. As soon as you walk in they have the entrance blocked. More than 2 people would have a hard time walking in. There is no place to sit if you place a To go order and there is a sign that tells you to wait outside. Its very unwelcoming. The way they have the entrance roped off when you walk in makes it seem like they dont want you there at all. I smiled at one of the employees and they gave me a rude stare back. The rice in the sushi was very chalky. Its too bad. I was looking forward to having a new sushi place.

Hello close friends I have just found out that Jc the sushi guy who works behind the sushi bar is no longer works here at Nanmi sushi. I found out the truth the person who owns the business stole the business from JC the sushi owner & has been controlling everything & even has stolen JC signature sushi roll everything that JC has designed for the restaurant. The sushi & food is not gonna be the same it will not be like how JC makes it. If you want to go to where JC is & want the actual good sushi go to “Sapporo Mex Sushi” that is where JC is located.

Chef Carlos does an amazing job with his sushi rolls. I have been going to him for years at Samurai Sushi and am so excited that he finally has his own restaurant. He provides the experience and flavor combinations we all love from Samurai with the quality Samurai used to have that we all miss. Today we got to experience the grand opening and it did not disappoint. The sexy roll is just amazing, its a sushi roll with seared rare New York Strip on top with seared tuna on the side. Amazing take on surf and turf. Also had the Cajun Trio which was simply to die for. Finally, we finished with the JC roll, named after the Executive Chef, and it was also amazing. Cant wait to go back tomorrow. Do not expect Samurai or Spicy Sushi to survive the quality and ingenious of this restaurant. The only problem this restaurant is going to have is if they cant expand to serve the waves of customers that will be coming. That is a great problem for a new restaurant to have!!

Terrible. Never going back. We ordered three rolls and didnt even finish half because no one wanted more after trying each. (I love sushi, my favorite food after living in Japan for over a decade.) I have noticed a few bad reviews as of late and found out that JC and most of his staff are no longer there and have started a new venture in Perris at Sapporo Mex Sushi. Not sure what happened between JC and the owner but its no longer, which is probably why they are now having food quality and customer service issues.(from Feb 2022) Best sushi in Southern California. My parents arrived at 8pm and were turned away, I am mortified because the sign says they close at 9pm. A little after, around 8:15 the football game we were watching was turned down to the volume 0 in front of us. They began cleaning and turned off the TVs at 8:25pm we were very uncomfortable so no choice but to pay and leave. Im not sure if we will ever return.

This was the only and newest sushi spot we hadnt tried yet (within reasonable travel time/local), and now I wish we had sooner so by now we could have tried a broader range of items to review. But, for what we experienced, heres our feedback!First off, parking is not an issue as it is a shopping complex where it is located. A set back for some will be that there are no wheelchair acceasible ramps leading to the door anywhere along the storefront where it is located. However, the curb is not high so it should not be much of a problem. Since there is no official big street sign yet, the cross streets are Sanderson and Devonshire.The entire staff is personable and greets you both on the way in and way out, this made an impact on my wife. We had three children with us ranged 7-10 and they were completely patient with us and the fact it took us longer to order being first timers. The waiter was excellent and a key part of the staff, he had been mentioned in reviews we had read before trying it out and he certainly lives up to the reviews and exceeds expectation. We never had a pile up of empty dishes and everything was very prompt to arrive, even our impromptu additions!All of the food was hot, delicous, and accurate, not to mention abundent (they do not shy on portioning). The bakes messels, agadashi tofu, and our rolls (cant remember the mame or id elaborate) were excellent. The jalapeno poppers were perfect for me (iron stomach), but a little hot, but still delicious for the wife (no heat resistance at all!), so keep that in mind when ordering for varying palettes.All in all, great time for us and the children, certainly worth anyones time, and a place we will visit again!

Nanami sushi has created a unique Southern California Twist on traditional miso soup with their Mexican miso recipe. Its a traditional miso with additions liked some chopped green onion, some other bits of vegetable and diced avocado along with mild diced peppers. Traditional miso is often almost an afterthought at a sushi restaurant but not this dish . I always crave it if Im feeling a little under the weather . It is so much more hearty and flavorful than a traditional miso that it should be a staple in every sushi restaurant in the Southland. Five stars
