Ive been here twice on my current work trip, and both times the staff were friendly and the food was good and came out very quickly. Note that my listed price range is for a mostly-nigiri meal. You could easily eat dinner here for $30 if youre more reasonable than I am.Another review complained about the size of the sashimi, but the nigiri sizes seemed normal. I highly recommend the 5-piece salmon sampler if you like salmon (5 pieces of nigiri or sashimi).

As in most Asian restaurants, they need Customer Service training.I ordered the 7-piece sashimi, and I had to get my magnifying glasses out to find the pieces?Ill go back, but not for the Sashimi.I normally get twice the amount, at half the price, again this is the Bay area.

Surprised the reviews aren’t higher! We came by on a Thursday evening and enjoyed this cozy Japanese restaurant for the first time. Generous and fresh sashimi, interesting sushi rolls, friendly service especially to our young child, and a laidback setting. Nice hidden gem in Menlo.

A Japanese restaurant that feels very authentic. A wide selection of sake is available, both filtered and unfiltered.Food is also very tasty: good sushi and a nice menu of grilled items.

Consistent and delicious. Pictured is hamichi nigiri (2), the dragon roll and CA roll. Always worth it! Had to eat a couple pieces before I snapped a pic, yum!

Amazing sushi and a great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. We took our 11 month old there and they grilled her some salmon and she loved it. Great sake options and very fresh scallops. Cant wait to go back.

Good portion and quality from the 7-piece omakase. Rolls were good as well. Dislike the selection of rolls and that almost every specialty roll has cucumber in it. Would like to see more sashimi options. Kitchen entrees seemed quite overpriced.

Service is really hit or miss. Ive been here three times and on two occasions the service was not very good. However, the food is really good and the food is fresh. The atmospheres nice too and I always sit at the sushi bar.On this trip, I had uni, sea bream, snapper, and toro. All of it great quality and I enjoyed the meal.Id rate it 4 or 5 if they would offer better service consistently.

First time at Noami Sushi with my husband. We enjoyed the atmosphere & service. Our food was very delicious however on our third order of sushi we tried one of your tempora sushi options and found it to taste a bit on the doughy side. Would have been tastier if the tempora was crispier. Just an FYI. We did not say anything because we were so happy with everything else. Will definitely be back to eat here.

I love rainbow rolls. Came here for lunch and wanted to order one but was told they only serve a Stanford roll. That roll has assorted fish with avocado, cucumber, and pickle. I asked if they could just out the crab instead to make it a real Rainbow roll but he said theyd charge extra. The roll was already $8 which seems to be the going rate for a rainbow roll so I opted to just have them remove to pickle.I thought Rainbow rolls were staple items on the menu for sushi restaurants. Guess not! But my small Sapporo for $5 was worth every penny on such a hot day.

In the world of sushi, there are two main types of places. Those that prepare for the masses and those that prepare for each person. Every time I have come here, they serve to my taste. They remember what I like and dont like and I trust them with my tongue. Each time has been great and because of what I mentioned above it has only improved with each subsequent visit.

Hands down the best sushi place Ive ever been too! When you go do not sit at a table. Sit at the sushi bar and let the head chef prepare some amazing dishes on the fly as he thinks them up. It is an artist and the taste is incredible. NOTHING COMPARES!!

Our go-to special destination for family birthday and graduation celebrations. Neighborhood vibe where they we are recognized. Great sushi selection and quality that wont break the budget. Lovely sliced mochi with bday candle and serenading.

Just dont do it.Ordered delivery.Sashimi not fresh, flavorless.Rolls disappointing (I guess to be expected since sashimi not fresh).Actually called the restaurant to confirm they had given us toro as did not look or taste like toro.Didnt even fill pint container when paid for extra white rice, 1/3 empty. Seriously.Im just hoping over the next few hours we dont get sick...Just dont do it.

Fish quality is solid, although not up with the best like sushi sams. knife work is good. sit at the bar and the owner might press some homemade pressed saba or a mystery handroll. most of the people here easy at the good places in la or tokyo, and by comparison this place is only ok, but its really pleasant with good seasonal soups and sometimes a kaiseki box.

Solid sushi place. The food is good and the service is friendly. When I want sushi in Menlo park, this is where I go. The 5 piece salmon sampler is incredible, and you owe it to yourself to try it at least once.

Geat sushi place. One of the best places to go and sit at the bar. Lets the chef choose your dishes and you will go on adventure to flavor town. They also do saki & dinner pairing every few months so call ahead and see if they are doing one. Super fresh fish!! Chicken karagge is also very delish!

It is a concern when the sashimi is served at room temperature. The texture and flavor are not the same as chiilled seafood. Poor presentation of the dishes with a lack of attention to detail, and very disappointing not to be served pickled ginger or wasabi with the dishes. The food was competently prepared but lacked the Japanese flare and style.
