I lived in Napa in the past and have never explored the Napa River and some of its hidden gems. Absolutely gorgeous! And on a gondola no doubt - amazing experience. Sean, our gondolier, was very knowledgable about Napa and the river but also gondolas! Great personality and sense of humor too. I HIGHLY recommend this unique experience in the Napa Valley.

I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday and 34th wedding anniversary. The vendor was very customer service friendly to contact me by email, text, and phone to notify me they would be closed due to rain. They offered three options: reschedule, gift card, or full refund. The refund requested was issued to the card used in a timely fashion. I thought this was worth a good rating. Will come back to update my review.

We did this our first night in Napa and it was a great way to get some insight on food recommendations and the whereabouts. Haven did great and his singing was beautiful even though he claims not to be a singer (: 4 stars just because the views are not amazing. We did see lots of cats and a beaver which were cool and the boat was amazing. But it isn’t anything outstandingly pretty. I still recommend though as a first day event for a unique experience.

Absolutely worth every penny. Haven (our gondolier) was great.. informative, pleasant and help guide toward some incredible ‘bonus’ experiences…(In the river(?))… We first saw the Sea lion ahead of us, then behind us (+/- 100ft away)… Haven turned the gondola around and we tried to find it .. no luck …We then started back down the river … ~ 5 mins later we saw it ahead of us .... 50’ in front of the gondola we saw a sea lion(!!), first chasing a fish .. then 2 seconds later we saw the sea lion 30’ to the right with a large (20lb(!?)) salmon in its mouth!! … 2 more seconds later it was 20’ behind us .. what a great (and unbelievable) experience!We took the sunset ride … other than the rush if the National Geographic moment, we saw tons of birds (also catching small fish), trees, people fishing from the bank …. the ride was quiet, informative …HIGHLY recommended!!John

Haven was awesome!!! We went at sunset and it was beautiful and such an awesome way to end the day. Highlight of our Napa trip. Don’t miss this!! Bring your own wine and cups (they will open for you) and they will supply blankets when cool out. Don’t miss this!!

My first gondola ride was in Venice, Italy so it amazed me that in my home state of California I could find it here. I brought my husband and our friends and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The process was as smooth as the ride. We booked a Casanova cruise and it was A-list. Our guides name was Haven and he was the best. He was funny, knowledgeable, a true social butterfly. We did the 5pm one so it got cold but it was beautiful nonetheless. This place is perfect if you want to do something different. I stumbled upon this gondola cruise by chance and was surprised by the calming experience as the gondola cruised the Napa river. Our gondolier, Sean (I hope I am spelling his name right) was kind to accommodate us despite our running behind schedule by 25 whole minutes! He played some Sinatra among other tunes for the adults and sang “row, row, row your boat” for my little one. Grazie, Sean, and the whole of Napa Valley Gondola team for an amazing experience. We’ll be coming back soon for some more gondola cruising.

What a fun activity! It was as romantic as we hoped and the boat was authentic. Our young paddler was friendly and engaging and had an engaging singing voice. They took plenty of pictures of us on the boat with no extra fees.

Haven was awesome! We had a peaceful row along the river and enjoyed his music play list and the conversation. He surprised us with a song under the bridge as we were coming back in which augmented the authenticity of the experience. Glad we booked this (and just before sunset).

Perfect way to end a romantic evening. Slowly gliding on the Napa River, looking at all the lights of downtown Napa shimmering in the river. Smooth, calm, relaxing and I love the sounds of the insects and frogs! (like Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland) We had a marvelous time, and will repeat it again on our next trip to Napa!

This was one of the best nights of my life this is truly a hidden gem in Napa. If you want to make a great impression on the special person in your life book this excursion. Haven was our guide he sung my partner and I a song. As we sailed away under the stars and beautiful full moon that night.He even took the time to teach us the lyrics it felt like a I was the main character in a Disney movie. This was such a romantic experience between my boyfriend and I for my 40th birthday. We picked the 6pm time slot and it was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. They provided blankets and he was very friendly and personable. He even sang for us!!

As a Napa proposal photographer, I was so excited to be the one to capture the moment for Fabrizio and Anna last month! It was a beautiful 75F day and the sun was beginning to go down making the lighting perfect! It was an amazing experience for them both and Im so glad they chose me to be there for it all!Come to find out, Fabrizio actually had booked a ride on the Napa Valley Balloon that morning but due to the winds it was cancelled! He was frantically looking for a new way to pop the question, and Napa Gondola came to the rescue! They made the moment amazing for them! I recommend not just Napa Gondola but their fantastic owner and entire staff!

Very peaceful and relaxing. Something fun to do before dinner & Something unique. Hard to come up with a new date place and this was fantastic. Our gondolier Nick was great and can saranade. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something different and relaxing. Will do again.

Owner is a prick and thinks he owns the public dock. Aggressive towards boaters and people visiting the restraunts near by. Would rather swim than give my money to this guy

Wow so pleased I LOVE Haven!! What a perfect knowledgeable pleasant Amazing singer of a guide so blessed to have him as a Bonus to a beautiful ride on an ACTUAL gondola from Venice Italy! We booked this experience while visiting Napa for our 13th wedding anniversary! Weather was perfectly sunny with a slight breeze and to top it all off we were fortunate enough to have Maple as our gondolier. Absolutely wonderful ride with Maples beautiful voice to boot! The ride was well worth it, we had great conversation with Maple and learned a little more about Napa! If you are considering this experience, I recommend asking for Maple, they set the mood and the vocals were enchanting!! Our host/driver was really friendly and made a great experience for us on Valentines. The ride was scenic enough and they gave us some nice wine with travel cup swag we could keep. Blankets for warmth, music, and a little singing to create atmosphere. Highly recommend for a fun Napa activity.

I surprised my dear friend for her 80th birthday. It was beautiful, tranquil, and a unique experience. The 6 pm ride was perfect timing for nice temperatures and golden light. My friend is a birder and was delighted to find that Haven was too, so they had a lot to talk about. And of course, he sang! We loved it.

This was a very lovely hour spent together. The views on and from the Napa River were super pretty - we went out at sunset time and found the whole experience quite magical. Was four of us in the gondola (plus the guide) and it was super comfortable. Bring bubbles! Makes it extra fun :) Nick our guide was awesome - 5 stars!

Wonderful way to end our Napa Valley vacation. Our gondolier was Maple. Maples voice would charm the angels from heaven. Maple is also a wonderful story teller and a great conversationalist. My husband I sat back and sipped our wine while Maple steered us down the Napa river, and delighted us with songs in Italian and English.

Ive never done this but Ive been kayaking in my kayak next to these gondolas a couple of times and they go all over the downtown area of the Napa River and are friendly when we pass. I can tell the couples are enjoying themselves. I think this would be a great time on our river for most who dont have access to the gorgeous views I see in my kayak. Im not sure what they charge, but I think it is worth a romantic evening. I know as a woman, I would enjoy it with the right man!!

Showed up on day of appointment 30 minutes early, waited, drove over an hour and a half, they cancelled while we were waiting for our ride due to not having anyone to steer the boat due to people calling in sick. They could only do a refund nothing else. This was for my wife’s birthday. I would never do this again. When you book you are taking a gamble.

Had the honor of experiencing the Gondola that cruises through the Napa River. Scott was our gondoleer and he was wonderful. We could not find the location and ended up being a few minutes late, however Scott was so patient and kind he waited for us. We thanked him profusely and he made no issue of it. Scott so eloquently led us to the Gondola and what a beautiful creation that was. He went on to tell us a small bit about the history of Venetian gondolas and even sang a few romantic Venetian songs for us along the way. It was an incredible experience Id never have expected to find in Napa. Cheers to Napa Valley Gondola! We hope your business continues to grow!

Sean took us on a quiet and relaxing cruise (with some light Italian music included) up and back down the Napa, close by and convenient to the parking and restaurants we visited during our week in the Wine Country. While keeping a steady pace, Sean pointed out local bird, animal life, jumping fish, and delivered a running commentary on Napa history and current events !And he can sing Row Row Row Your Boat in Italian too.Our last gondola ride in Venice was less entertaining - this Napa version is a fun and different experience for all ages ! Highly recommended.

A clean and beautiful city with many high-end restaurants and pubs in the area. The restaurants have Chinese, French, Japanese, Spanish and other catering cultures from different countries. Arriving at 3pm is the best option. Play until dusk, the night view of the city is the most beautiful scenery.
