Nara Sushi in Dublin is a cozy Sushi restaurant for families. They offer a variety of food that comes with large portion sizes. They have high quality appetizers and main courses. They also have the fun Ramun drink and Kids will really enjoy the fun experience.

Ive been to this restaurant twice and the food was consistently delicious and fresh. I had the teriyaki chicken lunch plate and everything on it was really good. I recommend this restaurant and will go back for sure.

Huge portions! Great value. I had a craving for sushi and saw there was a new casual Japanese restaurant in Dublin with great reviews so wanted to check it out.They have a broad range on their menu, from your classic sushi and bento boxes to udon and yakitori. I even spotted spicy tuna nachos on their menu (will try that next time). The menu had all my Japanese favorites in one spot, like takoyaki and katsu curry.I tried the Hamachi kama (~$17), the Halloween roll (~$15), beef teriyaki and CA roll combination dinner (~$18). The yellowtail collar came out fairly quickly (normally it takes 20 mins) so my guess is that they pre-broil it and torch it upon order for speedier service. I thought everything tasted decent. Its not a fancy place so I wasnt expecting anything to wow me. Id definitely eat here again.Another bonus is that the restaurant is super clean and service was friendly. There was no wait and the food came out fast. A great spot to go to for a quick and filling meal!

Bonus points for the service - it is the stores grand opening so they are super nice about giving us free desserts and appetizers.The sushi rolls were really large and filling, however, some of them were extremely creamy.The sukiyaki was not that good so I wouldn’t recommend that at all. There’s not a lot of meat in it and it’s mainly just vegetables.

My shrimp in the sushi roll was undercooked and soggy. The fish didn’t smell to good either. . After reading the restaurant’s response. Here was my order . Great place for a dinner date. Great food and great service. The server was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Music was quiet so I was able to talk calmly with my wife. I order the katsu curry and the curry was really good!

The most amazing restaurant I have ever seen. It looks so ordinary when u just pass. I decided to enter in the shop to see. Wow what an amazing warm welcome with a bright smile from the waitresses. I ordered vegetable upon for dinning in . That was the best of the dishes to me . Im addicted to eat that everyday form that shop and its very nice. You can try it as well and testify. NOT just the best taste but also the cheap price . The prices are affordable

Reasonably good sushi, 60g uni special was tasty but not the fat, high-grade tongues on the posters. Good service. I asked if most people come for the cooked or raw, and they said it was pretty even. Very good happy hour deals, a pitcher of Asahi for $8.

The sushi here was very good and at a good price compared to some of the other places in the area. Beyond that I wanted to write a review for them because their customer service was above and beyond in my opinion and would have given them 10 stars if it was an option. We ordered appetizers and when our sushi came out we didnt have much more room on the table. Without asking our server brought over the table next to us so we had more room. At the end we forgot our to-go box and they ran out to flag us down and bring it. These days service lacks in many places and I thought they were friendly and thoughtful. I will be back again.

A hidden gem of the area. Honestly a lot better than most places on the peninsula. Very friendly and attentive staff, food came out very quick. The place is small but beautiful inside. Everything was as genuine and authentic as you could get.

Revising my earlier rating because it seems like the management has changed and they just dont have enough people to service. Good sushi but horrible service. 25m wait before the server showed up to take the order. Forgot tea. Served people who arrived after us while we kept waiting.

I hate that I have to change my review. This used to be our go to sushi spot for over a year now. We LOVED everything about Nara sushi. Their staff was super friendly, the food was amazing and their portion sizes were generous.Then about a month ago something changed. The biggest thing is that the prices have gone through the roof with many items more than doubling. At this price point it doesnt make sense anymore to go here over Amakara. The second thing is that the menu doesnt necessarily match what you get. Both my wife and I do not like spice so we ordered things that were not supposed to spice and they came covered in spicey mayo.I dont know what changed but sadly this means we are back on the hunt for another sushi place.

I ordered 3 lunch bento boxes to go. The food was very over cooked. The tempura skin did not look nor taste right, greasy and extremely hard. The salmon sashimi looked like washed with hot water, not smelled fresh. The beef teriyaki was shredded thin beef, .... :( I will not go there again.

Great Japanese operated yakitori place. While the restaurant is labeled yakitori, they have a broader more izakaya style menu. The yakitori here is all fairly good, the sampler plate is a good place to start to get a broad range of taste. The grilled foods here are all excellent. Theres a decent sake selection as well as the standard draft Japanese lager. One outstanding thing is the asari miso shiru (clam miso soup). Very generous portion with aromatic and delicious mix of the clams with the miso that is very filling.

Not bad.Ive been here a couple of times with my girlfriend and we have tried most things on the menu. Most things are meh. Some Id stay away from, like the oyakodon because the eggs are overcooked and rubbery. Our favorite is the salmon don, because you get a ton of yummy salmon with some of the eggs! To be honest, we go straight for the salmon and ignore the rest.Not sure how often well be back, but itll be on our list.

I came to Yakitori West for lunch, going to sample a selection of their Yakitori. Unfortunately, they do not serve Yakitori for lunch. That is reserved for the dinner menu only. I was a little bummed, but I decided to try their Bento Box Lunch Special. I asked the waitress to order for me (selected sashimis and mixed tempura). She said thank you for trusting me and went back into the kitchen.The food was excellent! The fresh was very, very fresh. The tempura was lightly fried and very crispy. I really cannot say anything bad about this spot.Looks like I need to come back for dinner. If this lunch is a predictor of what their Yakitori will be like, I will order all of it. Not a sample of each...all of it!Kudos, Yakitori West!

I came to Yakitori West obviously for the Yakitori. I ended up enjoying the sushi more than the yakitori they served. The restaurant is small and crowds up fast so make sure you get there early. We ordered the Liver, hearts, scallops, and tongue. The heart and scallops were great. However, the liver yakitori was very large unlike any we had seen before and very very dry. Tasted a little like dogfood. The sushi was fresh and the ebi tempura was fantastic. But I wasnt sold on the yakitori. I will be coming back to try it once more and maybe update my review.

You can find this place in Ulferts center next to the Asian Bakery. Not sure if it was an off day but the yakitori we ordered was over cooked and the main flavor we got from the chef’s special was a mayo sauce they used with every dish. We liked their chicken soba though. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Great friendly cozy comfortable modern Japanese operated restaurant with fresh ( I mean real fresh) sushi and sashimi. The seafood udon is the bomb. Yakitoti skewers are tasty treats. My favorite Japanese spot in the Bay. Great spot for sashimi and try all the apps. Green mussels and takowasa are our favs. Lunch bento chicken katsu is great too. They also offer clam miso soup that is great for clam lovers! Highly recommended.

Excellent food. The steampot dish is a must eat. All yakitori items are just plain delicious.UPDATE. AMAZING! And they just got better with their lunch specials! No one, I say, no one is doing what theyre doing right now: high quality food, authentic options, and all for $10 in a bento box. The bento special comes with a big salad, a large portion of rice, and miso soup. You can choose two items from such Japanese true staples as takoyaki (fried octopus balls with seaweed powder, bonita fish flakes, and teriyaki sauce), gyoza (best in the Tri-Valley), salmon teriyaki, Japanese croquettes (fried potato cakes) and chicken karaage (deep-fried boneless chicken to die for). Come eat for lunch and dinner (the kushiyaki grill sampler is the number one choice and best deal) and just enjoy. On weekends, for now you can avoid the lunch crowds. Good food, great pricing, and clean and friendly service. And dont forget to ask for Ramune to wash it down with all your favorite dishes!

Scallops were undercooked, though I understand you were close to closing doesnt mean you cut out on the quality of making sure your food is cooked to appropriate temperatures or at least safe temperatures for eating, especially in the consumption of raw shellfish. Wayyy over priced for what we really actually received portion wise. Been to better yakitori places closer to the bay or even outside of Vacaville for instance Davis, if ever in Davis do try Yakitori yu-chan. Flavor and price-wise is on point and they actually cook there scallops to appropriate temperatures where its not overcooked or undercooked. I will not be dining at Yakitori West anytime soon or ever again for that matter.

The best Japanese Experience in the Tri Valley. Fresh and quality ingrediences used, most bang for your buck and friendly service. It is not inexpensive but you get more than you expect for what you pay. Seafood Udon is great. For those Uni lover, the Uni & Ikura don is the bomb! Sushi is one of the freshes I experienced and the Fried Oysters are succulent and tasty and there are so much more.

A restaurant recommended by a family living in San Francisco.It has a Japanese flavor and is very easy for Japanese people to eat. I think its probably delicious for Americans too.The taste of Japan is taken out and it is a taste very easy to eat to Japanese people.Probably, I think also to Americans that it is delicious.
