This is the first time Ive been here and I PROMISE Ill be back. Yellow curry with veggies and rice was so good. A little spicier than I usually eat but still AMAZING.We ordered our food to go tonight. The restaurant was so cute and inviting. We will definitely be back for date night

Have’s been here since they changed from Tanawin Thai to Nara Thai. Ordered online and when I went to pick up my order they couldn’t find it at first. Then said it would be ready in a few minutes. 35 minutes waiting there it was finally ready even though place was not busy. Came home with food only to find out they forgot to give me rice with my curry. Also curry was supposed to be mild but instead was very spicy. Cream cheese wontons had virtually next to no filling. To add insult to injury they ask for a tip when ordering online.. Glad I didn’t tip for such poor service and inferior food. Will not go back and looking for another local Thai restaurant worth the trip

Extremely poor service - very slow, did not follow food instructions for the chef - less salt, medium spicy....Granted they have only one person at the desk (server, cashier, etc.) however it was not that busy at 1:30 pm. Did not know contents of a dish advertised as Chefs special. Avoid !

Our third time here and the food is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxing and service is excellent. They have happy hour from 5-7pm. We had Pineapple. Fried rice, Pad Thai, Fried tofu, curry pouches as appetizers, and Tom kha koong soup *picture not shown, however eaten* Definitely recommend this authentic Thai Cuisine.

The service was okay. The downfall is we ordered a soup and we are specific vegetarian and the soup had chicken pieces in it. If that didn’t happen the rating would have been higher tbh.

The Pad Thai is god awful. It smells so good but is pretty much tasteless. And its one of my favorite dishes so its not my first time around the block. Also this might be the first time Ive left a review! 16 bucks for a few bites! Not sure about any of the other food. But dont get the Pad Thai!

Really wish I had taken a picture before trying. Husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and each got a Lunch Special meal, yellow curry and the broccoli. We also got water. The water was the first surprise as it was infused with cucumber, lemon and strawberries. So refreshing and delicious! Then our food came out on a long plate each. With a fresh, mixed green salad and refreshing, light dressing. I didn’t ask but seemed in house made and slightly gingery. Our entrees were in separate dishes with a nice sized side of white rice. We both thoroughly enjoyed our entire meals and came away completely satisfied! The one lady who worked the front was very attentive to all her customers and very sweet. We will definitely be back!

Came across this hidden gem by accident and was extremely happy that I found it. The service was amazing and the food was extraordinary!!!! I was having a party in my mouth with all of the different flavors, not to mention the mango sticky rice which was one of the best I have ever tasted. The food was so good, if it was not for COVID-19 I would of kissed the chef. If you are looking for 5 star cuisine at affordable prices this is definitely the place.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Los Angeles! We ordered for pick up and had a Red Curry and Noodles. It was so flavorful, fresh and authentic, we loved it! Friendly service as well!

This is my favorite Thai food restaurant in California; second all time favorite Thai food restaurant. The service is always nice, well timed and helpful. The food is consistently great and the quality is very good. I especially appreciate their expansive menu, and selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

Just mention Tanawin at our house and every one young and old yells “Yes”. This food is light & very tasty. Try the glass noodles with chicken, Mongolian beef, and a very light orange chicken. They’re especially good. The shrimp soup and entrees are great, too.The people are sweet, too.Enjoy Tanawin! 😋

Okay, Im kind of torn. Their Tom Yum soup was outstanding and they actually serve Mango Sticky Rice, which is the reason Im giving them 5 stars. But I WANT to give them 4 stars because they only gave me a tiny little bit of the sweet cream sauce and it is not thick enough. So I just hope they read this and thicken up the sweet sauce for mango Sticky rice and at least give enough of it to ro-go orders. But they do actually serve Mango Sticky Rice so Ill play nice.The food was outstanding. Im happy.

Outdoor seating that’s dog friendly, they even brought a little bowl of water for my dog! Very friendly service attentive to me even though I was outside. And delicious food! What more can you ask for? This was a great stop after the dog park!

Tanawin is our familys favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Weve been coming here since it was known as Pumarin and it is still just as good if not better with the additions theyve made to the menu. Recommend the panang short rib, crying tiger, and their Thai tea is delicious too!

We leave at palms and have to drive 35 minutes to get there. We have several Thaï restaurants in neighborhood but trust me it worth 35 minutes drive! They change the name but same test it’s definitely my favorite thaï restaurant even if they serve in to go box...thank you to the staff who is very kind 😉

Im Thai and usually I refuse to order Pad Thai in the US as its almost always too sweet and lacks many essential ingredients. Tanawins Pad Thai is as good as it gets! All ingredients are there (dried shrimps, preserved daikon radish, Chinese chive, etc) and it tastes great.

This is one of the first places I have enjoyed in awhile. They have tons of gear food. They have lots of options and curries to choose from. After the first time trying it we have ordered a ton of times and have not been disappointed.

4/9 called at 5pm for take out delivery, called at 6 hr later to see why my order wasnt here the lady barely spoke English said they ran out if noodles for a soup. Bad service no phone call asking for a substitute and manager gave no offers to fix the blunder . NEVER AGAIN

This place doesnt even deserve tht star cause its the worst place ever they have roaches in the back and its really dirty and the customer service are really rude the vegetables are not fresh they have all the food really in the fridge they have this one little kid who is always playing with the food in the fridge and the chef always be scratching his back,head,and armpits and he touches the food the only good thing about this place are cashiers
