Nats West Cafe - Canoga in Canoga Park

I tried the Pec Dec, and it was good. The chicken was a bit dry, though. The coffee is your typical generic diner type, nothing special. I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and the hash brown. The French toast was good too. Overall, the food was delicious.

Ive been coming here for years, but since moving away from Canoga Park, its made it difficult to come out this way. today was the day I was able to stop by, but I forgot how busy this place gets. people come here because the food is great and affordable much better than Dennys, in my opinioni ended up getting the breakfast burrito with that homemade salsa n the Belgium waffle. The total came out to 39 dollars, and thats with one coffee and orange juice.

Decided to try this place out since we were in the area, we were greeted and seated upon arrival. Host took our drink order right away too. I ordered their Chilaquiles verdes with chorizo and for my side I chose beans. When I got my food, my plate had hash browns instead of the beans I had requested, so I told the gentleman who was our waiter. He proceeded to bring me a side of beans, which I was grateful for. Until I saw the receipt, they had charged me for the side of beans, even though it was their mistake. I didnt say anything cause my wife said just let it be and pay. Place has plenty of parking available, and prices are average to any local breakfast joint.

All I gotta say is best waffle I’ve ever had. We got the Lox Benedict and Belgian Waffle. Excellent service and the vibe was perfect. I’ll be coming back!

Their breakfast is the best! I was at work, and it was lunchtime. I was craving breakfast for some reason. So I looked up on the internet breakfast place near me. I was fortunate to find this adorable restaurant. The grits, eggs, and sourdough toast were delicious, and the customer service is great!

Nat’s West is the sequel to the beloved Sherman Oaks breakfast joint Nat’s Early Bite where you can get basic breakfast goods and coffee, done about as perfectly as you could hope for. Would Nat’s West live up to the quality we’d come to expect from their sibling in the east? For the most part yes!We headed to Nat’s West late one Sunday morning where we were greeted with the familiar crowds waiting to get seated. That’s a good sign, especially at a breakfast place. It didn’t take all that long for them to find room for us and pretty soon the coffee arrived. This was probably my only disappointing part about the experience. The other location (and I’m not sure if they’re actually connected anymore) does coffee exactly right, very bold, never thin tasting. The roast I got here was on the thin side. Acceptable, but not the “wow this is great coffee” level that I’m hoping for.It got much better from there. I had two eggs (whites) scrambled with cheddar cheese and a side of perfectly cooked hash browns. It’s a basic breakfast fantasy and they did it perfectly…hash browns crispy on the outside, and fully cooked and soft on the inside. The egg whites were perfect too.I also had what they call a carrot muffin (though fans of the other location will know it as the Morning Glory Muffin…this leads me to believe these 2 locations don’t talk anymore.) The muffin tasted similar but was slightly overbooked…a little denser than I wanted it.Two other folks in the party got the Special Green Omelet with home fried potatoes. The omelet was full of greens, topped with avocado and yummy…and the home fried potatoes were also done just as perfectly as the hash browns I got.Our kid got the Bananas Foster French Toast which also was done perfectly and tasted pretty sinfully good.Nat’s is probably the best basic breakfast place in the west valley and if we lived closer we’d spend a lot more time there…especially if they gave a more consistent bold coffee to me.

We love Nate, especially for breakfast and lunch. When we are out and about. the food is excellent and the service is excellent. Also. They have a big variety of food and the services quick.

Occassionally I visit this place since my husband loves their chilaquiles, I personally like because they have a good variety of food, sweet, spicy, American,Mexican so you always have a good amount of choices.Flavors are great and the price is fair.

It was great, reminds me of all the home cooked breakfast every weekend. We wanted to try something other than the big chain breakfast spots, and we will definitely be returning.

My family and I came to this restaurant. I came inside to sign up, and they told me to wait 20 minutes. We waited 45 minutes until I received the text message. We arrived right away, and they told us that five minutes had passed and they made us wait more time. They told us that we were going to be next, and they made us wait more. When they sat us on a table, they told us that we had moved table because my baby daughter was on the way. It was so rude that we waited so long for a table and then they tried to move us!! We had to leave from that restaurant.
