It tasted just as good as it looks. Best avocado toast I have ever had. The Chai Latte was wonderful as well! I will be back when I come to visit 29 Palms/Joshua Tree.
Love this place! Went here twice on our trip to Joshua Tree because we liked it so much. They have such an awesome election of healthy and yummy food! Husband and I went for breakfast and got the biscuits and gravy and the sliders! Both were delicious. Even though it was super busy and crowded, they were very quick and had excellent service. I got one of their brownies for the road and was so glad I did! It was delicious and a perfect snack on my hike later that day! Definitely would recommend!
Went there on Sunday morning for breakfast. Boy it is crowded there which clearly indicated it’s a good place. I had ordered green goodness juice (apple, celery) and an avacado toast and really loved both. I could clearly tell the ingredients were fresh from the taste. I’ll highly recommend this place but be aware it can get super crowded on sundays at least.
This place is great, simple easy and vegetarian food, maybe its vegan not quite sure. But its pretty good they close at 2:00 p.m. so get there for breakfast or lunch just stop serving breakfast at 11:00 a.m.Its great to pack up a lunch and take to Joshua tree Park.
Food here was excellent- totally loaded with micro greens and lovely. Only thing I didnt love was the ordering system, but it was a busy Sunday, and everyone was doing their best. Definitely will go again!
We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. There was a line and limited seating. The food was a very good price and there was lots of it but I was not very impressed with the taste. There needed to be some flavor or spice. All they had was Tapatio sauce which doesnt cut it.
My group is not vegetarian or vegan, but this was highly rated on Yelp, and it deserves it. We all enjoyed what we got. The spicy garlic aioli on the breakfast sandwich was awesome. The berry lemonade was also good, it tasted fresh and not too sweet.
We came here after finding country kitchen was closed. We werent expecting much from it, but dont judge a book by its cover. It was so good! We didnt know it was vegan, so we werent sure how good it would be. We loved the coffee, sandwich, and both muffins. Well be back when were in town! Try it out. You wont be disappointed.

GREAT spot for lunch. Very nourishing. We both got the veggie bowls. We try to recreate it at home but it doesn’t taste as good as it did here. Their cookies are also delicious. We sat outside while we recharged before another full day in the national park. Too bad we found out about this on our last day. If we had known about it earlier we would’ve had it everyday for lunch.
We tried the veg scram and the bomb breakfast sandwich with two eggs. The veg scram was alright, needs a little more taste. But it being a healthy choice, I wouldnt really complain. Just add some pepper or hot sauce on it. The bomb breakfast sandwich was really good! I highly recommend it.As for the place itself, it is very small. And so it was packed when we went there for breakfast. They dis have tables outside but it was tough to sit there under the sun.I would definitely go back to try their other offerings.

Absolutely delicious breakfast—the garden bagel was full and fresh and delicious (pictured—the chopped red onion is a welcome detail for mouthfeel/overall enjoyment), the overnight oats with strawberry and agave were so good, and the lattes with their seasonal syrups (like roasted marshmallow!) really hit the spot. We are considering going twice in two days! So good.

Food was insanely delicious and plentiful. We ordered their small salad and barely made it through. They offer a lot of gluten free, vegan, and gluten free vegan desserts! We ate a gluten free, vegan chocolate cheesecake slice, before lunch and loved it. The prices are great and the food is perfect.
Amazing vegan food!! I shared the avocado & veggie sandwich, chocolate chip muffin, almond milk mocha, a container of tofu egg salad, and a piece of carrot cake. Everything was delicious and super affordable! The service was great and the waiter was so friendly and accomodating.

Very underwhelmed with the food. Nice staff, but the food was extremely sub par. The eggs looked like microwaved McDonalds eggs. Sausage patties were like rubber. Biscuits were dry and stale. Orange juice was good. There wasn’t anything “natural” feeling/tasting about the food.
Was visiting Joshua Tree and was looking for a breakfast spot! Their vegan tofu sandwich was great! Tasted like crumbled egg sandwich! The little sprouts were delicious! Would love to try their other sandwiches too! They also have fresh squeezed juice😍
Awesome vegan food. Took it into the park and enjoyed a lunch picnic. You can taste the spices in the avacado black bean burger. The avacado veggie sandwich was also delicious. Worth checking out this place and supporting their great business.

This tiny spot was packed to the gills for lunch and after eating there I can see (and taste) why. Gorgeous healthy food such as veggie burgers and towering veggie sandwiches, and truly awesome desserts (their blueberry pie was the best Ive ever had!). It will be hard -- if not impossible -- to eat anywhere else if Im in the area. Very friendly service too, and only a short wait after ordering, despite the crowd.
We wanted to have a plain nice toast with fried eggs and croissant for breakfast.Got a pre-mix egg (what they call fluffy egg), from a carton most likely, similar to other fast food places not the fried egg we expected.Croissant was soggy.Horrible.

Delicious! We are locals and its so nice to have a place actually cater to us as well as opposed to just the out of town crowds! We ordered for lunch for our work party. They helped us out with the menu to assure our vegan birthday girl ate to her hearts desire and gave us tips on how to pick up our to go order and avoid the ALWAYS massive crowds. We had really great rice bowls and a beautiful salad. Cant wait to come back (and order to go)!
Went here for the first time today. Wish I gone sooner. Great place for healthy & tasty food. Several options, good drink choices, and baked goods. Had the curried rice wrap and prickly pear iced tea. Good portions for your $. Staff was very friendly and kept things clean.
I got the breakfast bomber sandwich, and it was quite the letdown. It is a fake egg with a whopping amount of spinach, tomato, cheddar cheese, and spicy aioli. I do not recommend it. They do have gluten-free options, which is nice. Seating is limited and mainly outside.

We ended up coming here twice during our trip to Joshua Tree National Park. The Bomb sandwich and breakfast wrap were exceptional. The lattes were great too. Our service both times was great. After ordering, we wanted to make a change to our order and it was no problem.
The service there is awesome! Theyre usually super busy but its worth the wait. The black bean burger as a wrap is a must-try. It is so delicious! And their cookies and juices there are really good as well! Definitely check them out!
I waited 25 minutes for a sandwich that was average. Green juice is tasty. Chopped salad fresh but not anything special, mostly lettuce. Could use more tasty additions such as dates or raisins, shredded beets etc . Herb dressing average. Was hoping for a really good vegetarian experience but it’s just ok.
I love this place! Its small and has a bit of wait, but the staff is always so genuinely nice and helpful. A little pricey, but the food is always fresh and made with love. Try the blended mocha! Really good!!
Definitely consider this place for a bite to eat either before or after visiting the park. The food is fantastic - fresh and tasty, and not overly expensive. They have plenty of vegan options, although I came here 4 days in a row and only ever ordered the curry rice wrap with tahini dressing & a side of quinoa salad (would recommend!), but only because it was so good! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, occasionally very busy, but worth the wait. P.S. Buy a slice or two of the desserts in the fridges off to the right - the carrot cake is the best Ive ever had!

So good. We had old fashion burgers, the tofu egg salad, back bean burger, smoothies and the vegan/gluten free cheesecake was so so good! It was all super delicious. We ate there twice. Perfect after a long day of walking trails at Joshua Tree! They get busy but it is totally worth waiting for.

I loved the food but wish there was more sauce on the sandwich and burger...I like going when the wait isnt too long otherwise I dont even want to go. Weekends are crowded...but its one of the only healthy and vegetarian option places around so Im thankful for that and the food is great. Next time Ill ask for extra sauce though!

I was excited to try this place! There was a lot of people getting food at 11 a.m. I ordered soup thinking it would be fast and was told it would be 20-25 minutes. For soup! There was no wait for drinks. Unfortunately the chai is Oregon, which is too sweet for me. The service was friendly.

The food was good. I’m only leaving a review because there was an employee there (I think her name was Christa). She had a terrible attitude, was very unwelcoming, and accused my dog of barking when it was another dog outside. Her customer service skills were non-existent and it ruined the experience for us.

Our go-to café in Joshua Tree. Hands down one of the best lattes I’ve had, especially with the oat milk option. Their vegan parfait is excellent. Haven’t tried their sandwiches for a couple years but I remember them being very good.The service moves quickly for drinks, but food orders can take a while at busier times of day. Do make sure to look at their hours of operation, since we’ve definitely forgotten to check and were bummed to miss out on an afternoon coffee.
The food is fresh and so flavorful. We had lunch there after a day in the park. The black bean burger and beyond burger were both massive portions and flavorful. We took the spinach and hummus wrap and a chopped salad to go for dinner and both were amazing. It was so good we went back the next day.
I ordered vegetarian biscuits and gravy. It was more like cream of mushroom soup, over a dry (not fresh) biscuit. I wanted two eggs over easy on the side but was told the eggs were pre-made round disks. I got a McDonalds flashback and was turned off from that point on. My husband’s breakfast burrito was “meh” in his words. Service was slow, but the meals were nice and hot when we got them. Sorry, this place was nothing to rave about and we didn’t return.
Variety of Vegan foods, desserts! Always so delicious with great service. Seating is outside and the ordering/waiting area is a little cramped…because it’s a popular place. Average wait time is 20min, I have yet to be able to order ahead online. Clean, nutritious, healthy food! Try the Avocado Toast approx. $9.99 w/strawberries & micro-greens, London Fog, granola bars & Dairy free Cheesecake 😋..a must! Gluten free choices. Servings are enough for two, a little pricey but you will find it’s well worth it and your body will Thank you!! Can’t say enough!!!

I was never too big on vegan food but let me tell you, there is some seriously flavourful stuff on the menu here. I had what was basically a falafel burger and it was so good! They also have a bunch of really delicious smoothies for all occasions. Must stop by if youre visiting.
The food was good, smoothies as well, but for some reason the coffees tasted really bad this time and we gave them back after tasting them.A lady there, christa, instead of trying to make the situation right by offering to remake, something else, or give us a refund, just said ok and walked away.This rubbed us the wrong way and we asked her for a refund directly, to which she said ok, and left us there waiting for 5 minutes, only to go on break and disappear.This lady needs to learn customer service or get a grip on her attitude, because she was also giving plenty of that to my wife.
Too hungry to take pictures of the food. The green smooth was an amazing way to start the day. I lived my ginger lemonade (more ginger than lemonade just the way I LOVE it. They have an amazing selection of products from ready made house made to sourced drinks and snacks. Thank you for making food we feel good about. We had the breakfast sandwich of the day and I was impressed. It was worth the cost of the sandwich. It was bigger than I had expected with two egg servings, lots of spinach, and the right amount of tomato. STOP IN AND TRY IT.
The food is just fresh and delicious. I got the hummus wrap for lunch one day (definitely add the creamy herb dressing) and the egg wrap another day. All of it was delightful. Have patience - its pretty popular. There can often be a line and a 15 - 20 min wait.

I really enjoyed coming here for several reasons. My older daughter is vegan, so it was very important to me to find someplace for my children and me to eat before taking on a day at Joshua Tree National Park, which is right down the road from here. My daughter was thrilled at the selection and enjoyed her meal immensely. My other daughter and I just had a couple of their bagels with regular dairy cream cheese. The woman behind the counter, who took our orders was friendly, patient, and hospitable (and absolutely beautiful). I noticed that it appeared that the entire staff were female and I absolutely LOVED to see that. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. The place was super busy. We waited in line for about 10 minutes and the staff member kept reporting to the line of patrons that the food was taking about 25 minutes from the kitchen. It really didnt seem to take that long, but it if did, I really didnt mind. My only regret is that I didnt bring my dog and sit outside.
Eggless Tofu Sandwich was good. They also have a variety of cakes, carrot cake, cheese cake etc. Their vegan bomb sauce was truly bomb. It just enhances the flavor of a wrap/sandwich to another level.
Stopped here after a drive through the monument. Its a small place with a outdoor seating area. Menu has a lot of choices. Food is fresh and made to order. I had the veggie wrap sandwich and requested the quinoa inside the wrap. No problem! The wrap is big enough to share! Be patience it can be a busy place and well worth the wait! Highly recommend especially if you like healthy fresh food.

Came here every morning for breakfast on my trip to Joshua Tree. Love the smoothies, amazing yogurt and biscuits! The avocado toast special was unlike any Ive ever had - strawberries and balsamic!? But it was DELICIOUS and Im glad I tried it.

This place is great. Its not quick, you will wait in line but it is worth the wait. I love their smoothies my favorite is the climber smoothie. Its vegetarian which I am not but the food is delicious, and its usually all natural and organic as well. They also have gluten-free and dairy-free options. I highly recommend checking this place out if youre heading out to Joshua Tree
Great place for anyone eating a vegetarian/vegan diet or just wanting to eat healthier. Lots of satisfying options to end your day at Joshua Tree NP. The sandwiches were huge, especially compared to what you may get for a veggie sandwich at other places. Staff was very friendly and made solid recommendations on what to try. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. Ended up taking home some leftovers, and taking a vegan dessert to go.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was super basic and didn’t have hardly any flavor. They have whey protein to add to their smoothies so it’s ok if you’re in a hurry.
We stop here whenever we drive through Joshua Tree. No one has ever been disappointed in their food, the staff is great, and the outdoor area is just small enough that you can make friends with your neighboring table but large enough that you dont have to. Highly recommended!
First time visit was delicious. Ordered to go and the portions were large! Avocado Black Bean Burger was so big I couldnt fit my mouth around it and the side green was crisp and delicious. Do yourself a favor and dont try the Salted Caramel cookie or you will be hooked for life! Trying to stay healthy and cant stop thinking about wanting to go get another one!
I absolutely love their smoothies, but they are pricey and the portions are small. Their food options arent the greatest, and everything is over priced. I wouldnt recommend if you are vegan, but this is a great choice for vegetarians. When vegan friends came to town they had a very rough time finding something on the menu they could eat.
Be prepared to wait 30 minutes if you order hot food for two to go. And that’s with no line and no orders ahead of us.

This place is pretty cute. I ordered a London Fog which was delicious and priced fair, and I got the Avocado Toast, which I thought was a little expensive for what I got. Was expecting a bigger piece of toast with larger helpings for the price. But it was still pretty delicious.
We got breakfast before going to the park. Unfortunately it’s more take away style than expected, so we got our food in plastic containers which was a bit unexpected and such a waste.There are no tables inside, only a few seats on the patio.Food tasted great.
Natural Sisters is always delicious and so filling. We came in around 2 pm today and the woman working was so friendly and sweet (sometimes we come in and the cashier has a snide attitude.) She also made my latte the best Ive had there. The guy working was super nice & fun too and made our food perfectly. Support your local businesses!
Natural Sisters Cafe is open during the pandemic. You must wear a mask to enter and keep socially distant with stickers on the floor to help you keep the appropriate distant from other customers. You order, pay then exit the cafe, waiting outside for your order.We ordered the rice and beans and The avocado sandwich on gluten-free bread. Both were delicious. I also got the chocolate peanutnut butter pie. Oh my gosh, that pie was good. So was the sandwich and the beans and rice. We went to a nearby park to eat.We went back for another order the next day (we were headed back to LA after our short trip to Joshua Tree). We ordered coffee: a latte for me, Americana for the hubby. I also picked up a few gluten-free muffins. The muffins were okay but the latte and the Americana were very good.
Their latte is very solid! Don’t be intimidated by the line, it moved pretty quick. I waited less than 10m in line and less than 10m for the drink. Would recommend this place for coffee lovers!

I always look forward to hanging with the natural sisters when I visit J Tree. The staff is wonderful. The food is fantastic and fresh. My faves are the rock climbers revenge smoothie and the faux tuna sandwich. Also, the berry pie is everything! Expect a bigger crowd and longer wait on the weekends during winter, but the food is totally worth the wait. 10/10!

If you want healthy and meatless, this is a great place! I ordered the veggie and avocado sandwich on sprouted wheat, and it really filled me up. Sandwich was so thick with yummy sprouts, and the avocado was fresh. Very hearty sandwich indeed despite being meatless. I also ordered the earl grey lavender latte and it was almost too good. Thanks for being a healthy option in a sea of fast food!

I love this cafe💗 While on a trip with my best friend we wanted to treat ourselves to a meal out. Natural Sisters Cafe blew our minds. Everything was fresh and flavorful and really fulfilled our need for a delicious and healthy meal. We loved the food so much we went back the next day so we could try more of the items on their menu.My only advice is to go knowing there will probably be a line and a bit of a wait. For me, this was no problem as I was on vacation and happy to find a table outside and enjoy some winter sun🌞
Local favorite! Enjoy delicious food and drinks all organic and made with fresh ingredients. Their prices are a little on the high side, but I guess you are paying for that freshness...Regardless, it does not stop us, and we still keep going back for those delicious smoothies and treats! They are always packed and a very special place to visit for both the locals and the visitors! Enjoy! Can be quite busy on Saturdays when the Fresh Market is going, but still always a great place!

This cafe has vegetarian and vegan options. Im not either but the takeaway breakfast I had with a friend was delicious. Vegan sausage + real egg biscuit sliders tasted like the real deal. Spicy spinach, tomato, egg breakfast sandwich was also delicious amd inspired me to make it at home. Also lookout for the daily special of earl grey tea latte.
Last year I interviewed to work here twice, was hired, but let go before my first shift due to the pandemic shut down. We were on good terms ( or so I thought ) and told them to give me a call when things picked back up. They did contact me again a couple months ago, but ghosted me when I inquired more about their pay scale, as I needed to ensure a living wage before accepting the position. I was told that pay starts at 14/he plus tip, but its really based on your ability. The less training you require the higher your wage would be. I asked how tips are divided and whether they were declared, as well as what abilities needed to be demonstrated to receive the highest possible level of compensation, and inquired about medical and dental insurance. After my questions, they never responded to me again. I tried contacting them a couple ways but was given the impression that the management would not speak to me. This was pretty confusing, considering they had contacted me, and my questions about pay structure were completely valid. I spoke with a former employee, who described the management as greedy and manipulative. Ultimately, I will not support this business any further, as I do not believe they have the best interests of their workers at heart.

Wonderful little cafe, excellent vegan options. Walked in and immediately smelled AMAZING food. Service was great and the oatmeal raisin cookie I had (freshly baked) was EVERYTHING. I highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely be back whenever I visit j-tree to have this place again.🔥🔥
Microwaved eggs for $15. Nothing spoke to me as “natural” here, unfortunately. Staff was pleasant however.
A little vegan oasis in the meat focused dessert cuisine, I had a sandwich hear filled with hummus and sprouts that made me smile from ear to ear, with the Monkey smoothie to seal my splendor in with a really wonderful dessert that somehow outshines even the sandwich.
Good service and nice people, but I left hungry after spending $12 on a curry rice wrap that didnt taste like much. Also, this place was a madhouse on a Saturday, with large squads of college girls in yoga clothes sipping on overpriced smoothies. Feels like youre back in LA! Cool if thats what youre looking for,but I recommend Crossroads Cafe across the street (if not busy) or Royal Siam a short walk away for good Thai food.
Nice vegan food and very tasty. Usually crowded at lunch but great service. Food is clean and fresh. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great food that you order at the counter. No sit down ordering. Fair prices.
Great food and atmosphere! As a vegetarian, I didnt expect to find a place like this in the middle of the desert, so I was pleasantly surprised. The food was super fresh, and they were very generous with the sprouts on my sandwich. Delicious!
I got their vegan biscuits and gravy. It was very peppery and delicious, comes with vegan sausages.
This place was absolutely delicious. After being on the road for a few days travelling, the food here was exactly what we needed, so fresh and healthy. The servings were twice the size we expected and came with a side dish! The quinoa salad was so tasty. Someday, when we are back in Joshua Tree, we will be dining here again!
Healthy vegan food place. It was packed here even in the middle of the day and there was a 30 min wait for food. Everything was really fresh. Small menu and not that much room for big groups to sit together (we were 7). The blueberry iced tea was unsweetened so just how I wanted it. The lemonade wasnt too sweet.

Amazing vegetarian food choices, HUGE PORTIONS ! And the BEST baked goods Ive ever found ! The pies are wonderful, and the carrott cake is to die for! They also have a wide selection of juice concoctions made to order . I love this place and eat there at least once a week if not more. Definitely recommend giving it a try !!
Nothing natural or organic about this place. They used hersheys chocolate in my smoothie. Their $9 celery juice is not organic. The food is really whatever. They refuse to take Amex because they’re greedy! I call it stealing people money.Don’t go there. Go to dez next door. They’re much kinder and actually have cleaner food!
Yummiest food on JT. Avocado toast is bomb, and if you get there early enough for breakfast, the Bomb Breakfast Sandwich is bomb.
Very long line. Very limited seating. I was expecting something phenominal but what we received was just ok. The curried rice wrap was mostly sprouts and lettuce with then some curried rice. My companion had the same experience with their Veggie and Hummus wrap.The carrot cake was fantastic! Too much of a good thing with the frosting. I saw another diner removing the frosting and thought they were crazy! I love frosting. When it came my turn to eat that delicious carrot cake, I too was taking the frosting off as well. It masked all the other flavours that was going on inside that cake.The woman at the front taking orders was very kind and had great interpersonal skills.
Absolutely delicious vegetarian food and pretty amazing desserts. Unique too, specially the Vanilla infused Pear pie. Very pleasant staff, hence the happy ambience! My number 1 reason for loving Joshua Tree downtown !!!
Small restaurant in JT, two small tables five chairs, four bar stool counter space, outside about four tables. Wonderful food. Had the Veggie Omelette, large portion (7x 4x 3), perfectly cooked. Great coffee. They offer fresh juices, lattes/cappuccino/etc. They also offer take-out beverages, single pieces of cake, yogurt, etc for on the run. Highly recommended, enjoy!

This was my second time visiting this place. The first time was great. The second time I went during the pandemic (last week) and the woman helping us had a MESH mask on. Im glad all her other coworkers were wearing proper masks, but am disappointed that the person who is in contact with customers had a MESH mask on. I will not be returning there due to lack of consideration.
Friend (no name) went for an interview and all the manager (justin) did was disrespect her and gave the interview as if he was getting on to her the whole time, no friendly deminer . Horrible attitude what kind of company expects employs to be hired on with a good attitude and respect for the company if the manager cant even provide the same service . Value starts at the beginning . Wouldnt choose this place to begin with, saying he would prioritize other employs over someone who doesnt even work there yet. He would of been an absolute nightmare.
The natural sisters is a classic and has been around for over 12 years.. Delicious simple vegan and vegetarian fair at a great price. They also have a good selection in their grab&go case.
Surprising find on the wary Joshua tree national park. Found on a small section of health centric stores. super popular and packed. If your dining in expect a wait. One of the tastiest black bean burgers Ive ever had. The char on it was amazing. Has the flavor that a meat burger would have. If you didnt say anything I doubt I would know it was vegetarian.
If you want fresh, delicious, made in house organic vegan food. This is the place. Try the fresh lavender lemonade, they steep the organic lavender them selves. This is the kind of dedication that had led to amazing everything. The customer service is 💯
The best Dirty Iced Chai Tea! Accompanied by delicious gluten free muffins, what a treat! Such friendly staff. Such a find, around the corner to Joshua Tree Visitor Center. So glad we stopped!

I am a local and have never gotten a chance to eat here (I’ve been trying for about 4 or 5 years)Every time they either forget about me on hold, tell me they’re too busy, or some other problem.Today I called and finally reached someone. She was very ditsy, rude, and didn’t want anything to do with helping me place an order.She demanded that I pay OVER THE PHONE because she can’t put in my order unless it’s paid for, meaning I either give her my credit card information, or drive there and wait 45-1 hour for my food. (her words)I told them never mind, but decided to call back and place my order since I have been trying to try this place out for years.She answered, pretended she didn’t hear what I was saying (repeatedly saying “HUH? what? I CANT HEAR YOU!!! I think your volume is down, sorry I can’t hear you!!”) and then very rudely hung up on me.This place does not like locals. They don’t want locals eating here. They only care about the hippy LA tourists that are coming back from a hike. Very gentrifying. I am appalled that as a lifelong Joshua tree resident that I am unable to get food here, and not only that but treated so disrespectfully when I try to support their business.I won’t be trying to eat here ever again. It’s clear they don’t want my business, only hire incompetent, stoned teenagers, and capitalize off of the gentrification of Joshua tree.I will also be steering anyone who mentions it away from this Local-hating business.
Long line, but the food is so worth it! Delicious, and fair priced. So many vegan options, their chocolate peanut butter cheesecake (vegan) is absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend to any vegan in the area!
Absolutely loved everything this place. First the location. Its on the corner of a small shopping center with its own parking lot. If you cant find parking in the lot, theres a dirt lot across the street. It pretty much is the gateway to the Saturday Farmers Market. The food and drink options --> vegan, healthy, delicious. Prices were decent for guilt-free food and the service was great. Staff was nice and friendly, and our order came out in no time.
I loved this place!! I was on vacation and explored the Joshua Tree area and found this place I now wish there was one here in Las Vegas. I would recommend and will revisit because the smoothies, the wraps and the brownies are Delicious!! The staff are very friendly and the environment is very welcoming, clean and a cute place to eat. Double thumbs up!!
Its a nice place to eat if youre looking for something healthy and/or vegetarian. Very limited seating. Its quite small and is usually pretty busy. The food is okay. Rather bland in my opinion. Their vegan carrot cake is really good, and reallllyyy sweet. They have smoothies and coffee and house made kombucha. Ive been here a few times but dont really see myself coming back.

Some of the best iced dirty chai with oat milk that I’ve had in a looong time! Also ordered the curry rice wrap which was pretty good, personally would’ve preferred the ingredients to be slightly more mixed so I could get all the flavors in one bite. Good portions for the price. Overall, would definitely visit again.
I usually order take out from them. They have delicious, healthy food that is reasonably priced. I love the vegan options. The only thing thats annoying is how busy it is, especially in the afternoon. Dont be surprised if you see line ups oozing out the door. Also, groups of friends like to congregate here, taking up most of the seats.
I was really disappointed by this place. I ordered the Bomb Breakfast Sandwich and got a bland omelette sandwich (no taste aside from the spicy sauce). It was also brought to my table in a take-away plastic box. I know Covid is a concern but I expect better from a cafe near a national park. I do not recommend this place.
The best vegetarian / vegan spot ever. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We drove from Palm Springs to Joshua Tree and found it on the way by chance. We will be back. Amazing! Cant find places this good in NYC.
Ive been here several times and it seems to be getting worse. There isnt much to the menu and the selection has greatly decreased. The staff is much ruder than what they were on previous visits. I waited five minutes at the counter before anyone helped me. There wasnt much of a smile or any sense of urgency while getting my meal. The food is okay, but nothing spectacular. Its a terrible place to sit and enjoy your meal since the tables are crowded and theres not much space. Overall, I cannot recommend this place since it has become such an overall bad experience. It wasnt just one experience, this has happened the last few times while visiting.
We were on our way to JT yesterday, and decided to stop here to pack some food to go (we are vegetarians, so places like this cafe are a rare treat).Wife got the tofu egg wrap, and had terrible food poisoning last night! Im guessing the tofu had gone bad (which it does if not kept refrigerated). Shes been in bed all day today.Not cool, ladies! :-(
Friendly and fast service. A Great selection of menu items catering for dietary requirements; Gluten Free options, Vegan, Vegetarian.Daily goods in their fridges as snacks for later or for now.They do a banging yoghurt with berry compote and granola.My favourite smoothie is the Monkey Business with a shot of espresso. My boyfriend loves their Egg Bagels.We come here for breakfast whenever we are staying in or near Joshua Tree.Furthermore, they are handling the Covid-19 Crisis with care, there is social distancing and once you have ordered you can wait outside or in your car, they will come outside call your name or even bring it to you car.
Amazing vegetarian cafe. The avocado toast special was the best Ive had in my life. SOOO good. And the iced London FOG!!! We went two days in a row.
Staff is friendly, place is a bit crowded and takes a while to get your food, but the wait is worth the deliciousness. I ordered the veggie sandwich with add-ons of hummus and shredded carrots (both times I was there) on toasted sourdough...YUM!! I also got an americano coffee...good stuff! I will definitely stop there every time I visit Yucca Valley.
If I didnt live out of state and could eat here every day, I would never eat meat again - the food is amazing. Dont let the fact that this place sells wheatgrass scare you away 😂 the food is so tasty! The menu is small but the specials are the best.I also bought some local art which was very reasonably priced.
REAL FOOD!!! Sisters has consistently provided me with a plate of genuinely good food. The prices are on the high end, but I have no objection to paying for this kind of quality. This is where I send out of town guests for a lunch with local flavor and they always have enjoyed the food.
There are just so many healthy options to choose from. And you definitely get your moneys worth. Some of my favorites have been there Black Bean & Rice Bowl. Its big enough for two people. I love their salads as well. And Ive been introduced to quite a few healthy drinks too. The Rock Climbers Revenge is tasty and their Yerba Mate Peppermint Honey Tea is perfect foe chilly days here in the desert.
Coffee was delicious! Break fast smoothie and juice were yummy too! Lots of vegan options! Staff was kind knowledgeable. Cant wait to go back.
I went to this place to get some food and drinks yesterday. I had to bring my small dog with me because of the heat. A tall lady with glasses was very rude to me because I brought my small dog with me who is my emotional support dog. I wouldnt support this business. They have bad customer service. No souls. Go elsewhere.

Good food and friendly staff. Some great vegan options. Dining area is a little cramped. There isn’t much space to wait for your order, or to pass between tables when entering the restaurant. But that’s mostly because it’s a popular spot, so it’s understandable.

When they delivered my juice, I mentioned that I would like to talk to a manger. The lady indicated she was the person in charge. I motioned her away from other customers, then asked would she be open to well intention feedback. She said yes. However, as I began to explain my experience, she immediately began to talk over me, trying to make an excuse then explain a policy, all the while never actually listening to what I tried to convey. She appeared uninterested and annoyed, Then as I tried again, she dismissed me, talked over me then simply walked away.The value of what was offered was very clear. As a local customer, I have tried to support local businesses during these difficult times. I tried politely to bring awareness to my experience and was dismissed. This employee lacked the maturity, experience, and leadership skills to be in that position. The company could benefit from more extensive employee training on communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Two poor experiences in one visit. I will not be returning for my $9.00 juice.
Been coming here for 5+ years and the food and service is consistently awesome. As a local, I try to hit it during the week at times when its not as busy, but no matter what, there usually is a wait, seeing how close it is to the entrance of the park. The wait is always worth it, though.
The delectable scene of wholesome delicious food hits you as soon as you walk in the door. The vegan and vegetarian options are plentiful. Everything is just plain good and good for you.

Great service, the blended mocha is better than Starbucks and comparable in price. Nice, newly expanded seating area. The food prices are on the high side but thats traditionally how health minded cafes are.
When you first drive up you might wonder if its even worth getting ok it of the car......you should....its totally worth it!! Varied menu with absolutely wonderful selections! Even the 1/2 salads were huge! Plus... the peanut butter cookie was the best ever!

Early bird gets the worm here! My hubs and I stopped in, two mornings in a row. If you get here after 8am, be prepared to wait but the wait is worth it. After 8, this place is swamped with a line of people waiting to order breakfast and another group of people waiting for food. We tried their smoothies, muffins, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches and were impressed and felt nourished by all. We would definitely return.
Yummy pie, delicious smoothies (monkey business is my favorite), yummy food, and nice service. Natural Sisters is my obligatory pit stop on every climbing trip to Jtree. Thankful that they have stayed consistent so far.
We ate here everyday we were in town! Amazing veggie burger (all the food is) and the homemade pie is the best Ive ever had! Smoothies are amazing and soooo is the staff!!
Friendly atmosphere. The egg wrap and iced coffee is good. Local art on the walls is pretty neat. Its a nice place to stop after a weekend in the desert. It seems to get very busy after 8am.
Was not impressed with the service. Came in with my kid that does not like onions. Spent $11 on sandwich and was assured no onions. Get sandwich and it is covered in red onions. When I inquire about it the person clearly remembers I said no onion and said she put it on my ticket. She then says well can you not eat it? Yes, we can and will to not waste food... thats not the point. I am paying for my food done to request and was assured I would get something done right. Could have at least offered a consolation or to make it right. Did not enjoy my meal with red onions and wont be back!
They look more legit than they really are. The employees are miserable. They do not compost anything despite their natural feel, and compostable cups (which end up in the trash). Also, the only thing they actually make there is the drinks. 100% of the food comes frozen and prepackaged to the kitchen. They just heat it up on a grill and serve it to people. The food tastes alright, but there is no soul in the restaurant at all and the owners are never there. Just underpaid employees.
Vegan carrot cake?? I had the Quinoa veggie burger with avocado. It was huge! The vegan cheese, veggies and sauce complimented the quinoa. My daughter had the veggie burger. It was huge and full of flavor. The biggest surprise was the vegan carrot cake. It was dense, moist and not to sweet. The icing was creamy and just a touch of sweetness. I think I will go back tomorrow for breakfast!

They have the best Muffins I have tasted in the U.S. Some are even Gluten Free. They also have good Veg Wraps and good salads. They lost a star only because they got the order wrong twice. Actually that should be 1/2 star lost.
My bf and I stopped by Saturday morning during Thanksgiving weekend and this place was super-crowded. We gave up on the idea of having breakfast here but I thought Id just get a latte to go on our way out of town. Dang, it took forever. It didnt take THAT long for the line to move, but I had to wait at least 20 minutes or so for my coffee to show up. The place is tiny, so there were very few places where I could wait comfortably; I felt like I was always in someones way. At least it gave me a chance to see the food on peoples plates and it did look good. My latte too, once I got it, was very good. I wouldnt mind trying them on another occasion when its not so crowded. Had I known how long Id have to wait I wouldve bailed straight away.
This place has some of the rudest staff Ive ever encountered. I walked in at 7:00 pm just to buy something already prepared, in a package and I was very rudely turned away. Thats not how you treat a customer that is willing to spend money at your establishment. They also use canola oil in all of their baked goods. Its 2020, get with the times. A healthy, organic market should not be using canola oil.
My fiancé always tells me about this place so had to check it out before studying. Descent prices and tasty food!!
Always love this spot and stop there when in JTree. Menu has been expanded and the employees are doing their best to keep up with the crowds during high season. Definitely recommended but be prepared for a wait on a busy day !
I quite like this place and have a sentiment for it. I always go there whenever Im visiting Joshua Tree. I would prefer a little bit more diverse menu and slightly less pricey options, but overall it is a very nice experience to visit and get a lunch for your hike or to catch up with your friends.
Amazing, super yummy vegan burger! It was a rice patty and so perfect! The vegan cheese on there was melty deliciousness too! The best burger Ive ever had, vegan or not.
I am about as far from a vegan hippy type as can be. So my opinion of vegetarian food starts at, not so good and quickly drops. But I found the hummus wrap with olive oil vinaigrette reasonably tasty. Thats high praise for what my Chicago native mind considers rabbit food. So good work NSC, I am strangely full...while still hungry...for cow. So the moral of the story is, eat at NSC...but its still not healthy for cows...grrr.
The cinnamon buns and tofu scramble were just meh, but the vegan peanut butter chocolate cheesecake was *chefs kiss!* Would skip the buns next time and return for cheesecake.
Food is fine but the waitress with pink glasses is the rudest, most passive aggressive server Ive encountered in a long while. When I asked at 11.02AM if they were still serving breakfast, I was greeted with an entirely unnecessary lecture about changeover and grills... as if Id asked something entirely unreasonable and was being rude in even inquiring. Breakfast finished at 11.
Healthy, GF, and vegan options perfectly located in the town of Joshua Tree. It’s a one-stop shop for coffee, breakfast, juices, and lunch! All of the food we had during our stay in Joshua Tree was fantastic.
So cute and great food! They do take out as well as dine-in and we did both. Ate a delicious breakfast on their patio and then got sandwiches to go for our hike!
Mediocre.Wheat bread is an option on the website but not in store? Or I have to ask for the good bread?For as busy as this place is you’d think the food wait staff and quality over all would be higher.Definitely not short on money just on quality.

I went here I wanna say back in January and I was having a really beyond horrible day and my card on my phone wasnt working so I couldnt pay for my food. I think two of the girls could tell I was going through it that day because when I went back to my table one of them gave me a smoothie and I remember the girl who gave me the smoothie smiled at me and I cried a little. The staff are amazing I dont remember their names but thank you. Ill come back and this time Ill be able to pay for my food.
The breakfast selection is great and the smoothies are amazing! A little pricey at about $5 for a cup of OJ but great experience otherwise. Avoid peak hours due to limited space and seating.
Food is excellent especially the black bean burgers. You will have no better vegan burger in your life. Only reason I deducted a star was because it is always packed which speaks to its quality.
They are always friendly & the food is always good. Considering I mostly eat meat & this is the only vegetarian restaurant I eat at hopefully that tells you about the food. It is still one of the few places to eat in Joshua Tree so if its not summer expect a wait & be patient.
Loved the World of Flavors salad🥗 Worth the wait on the weekend!

We got a veggie burger, chillie and curried tofu.It hit the spot and we went out day with hiking!I almost forgot the lavender lemonade....wasnt too sweet and had a nice lavender flavor to it.

2019-05-17 15:54:50The natural sisters cafe is a couple of minutes from the Joshua Park visitors center. It has parking out front. The inside is pretty small so if you are planning on eating inside you need to come at a quiet time. The seats are also pretty high so not a place you would come in to eat with kids but you could easily grab and go eat at one of the picnic spots in the park. The food is expensive at $11 for a wrap. Our breakfast came to $30 but we could have ordered more carefully and kept the price down. There are some wonderful choices, juices, smoothies, lots of breakfast eggs and wraps. The wraps are massive filled with veg and came with a side of salad. The bagel was delicious. They also have some great desserts. Plenty of vegan and food- fussy choices. We highly recommend trying the food here. It can get pretty crowded here so time your visit accordingly.

2023-04-30 19:41:53The bomb breakfast sandwich is so aptly named! Yum and loved the spicy sauce on it, which was only mildly spicy but very flavorful. Also got a few smoothies (berry, orange ya glad, and desert sunrise). They were all good and a perfect accompaniment to our sandwich. Dont pass on this place just because there isnt meat!

2022-06-14 05:06:21The best place for vegetarians and vegan folks!They have sprouts in sandwiches and bagels, which is amazing.It was so refreshing to have breakfast here.Recommend Avocado and Veggie sandwich and veg bagels
