2023-10-16 08:20:08Love this place. Great options. My go to is the honey walnut shrimp and taro fish. This is the one place I have to go to when visiting the bay since I dont live in the area anymore. Im so sad they dont do dine in anymore, but luckily I usually stay right around the corner from here when I am in town.

2021-07-02 22:32:14Mmmmmmmm!My best friend brought me here and I loved it.We ordered vegetarian dim sum (shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling, mushroom dumpling, turnip cake) spicy salted fried tofu, and lotus root delight. Everything was SO good.Everything was reasonably priced.Service was good and fairly quick.Generous portions.Would love to try their other stuff. So good!

2023-10-11 01:25:11They do the catering for Animal Liberation Conference. I like the pumpkin curry. The sweet n sour chicken is good portion sizes and I like the mushu veg with paperthin pancakes. Its really authentic in here like being in a monastery.

2020-01-14 18:26:46Amazing food, loved everything! We ordered Natures fried rice (next time tho Id asl for no raisins), fried dumplings, spring rolls, salt and pepper chicken, eggplant and fish clay pot and Taro fish which is a giant delucious taro puff shaped like fish.

2021-06-28 20:18:27My partner and I ordered several things. We been trying as many vegan places in Oakland as we can. We love exploring vegan food. In comparison, this place is ok. I would skip it unless you want bland food. Their fried rice had no flavor. I was so sad eating it because I was really looking forward to trying this place out. The fried wontons were also not good. They were stale and the “meat” within was non-existent and tasted like hot dog. However, I gave it a two star because General Taos Chicken was decent. The employees also aren’t welcoming or friendly to Latinos and black people.

2022-01-22 02:46:22A wonderful place to go when doing a diplomatic mission to (or protest of) the University of California Office of the President (across the street). Everything we had was excellent - vegetarian fried wontons, salt & pepper tofu, sweet & sour vegetarian “pork”, black mushrooms & vegetables, ma bo tofu, and more. Staff was friendly (especially considering that we parked outside their restaurant and held a major online protest event to protect Mauna Kea for several hours before we ever ordered!). Prices were very reasonable. I wish I could have tried more things on the menu - will definitely be back!

2023-10-24 14:33:34Hit or miss. The shark fin soup was pretty good. It had a gelatinous texture and a rich soy taste.Veggie Peking Style ribs were inedible, overcooked sad little mounds of wheat gluten in a syrupy sauce. Zero vegetables or anything. If I come back, Ill read reviews and order something less experimental.

2020-01-25 06:10:44Great place for strict vegetarian food. You dont have to worry about what is meat, and what isnt. If it looks like meat, its mock meat. The flavor is all there, and they have several options for you to try.It has been getting busier over the years, so stop on in before its even harder to get a table.

2023-11-08 07:11:33My boyfriend and I rarely agree on food choices. Usually either I am trying something new or he is. This place serves healthy vegan meals that taste great too and eating here we were able to find a nice place we could both agree on. Unfortunately no indoor dining was available but thats ok we took a short trip to Jack London square and sat by the water as we had our dinner. Dont forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!
