Went here just the other day to get dinner with my best friend. She had never been here. We ordered the golden California roll to share and separately she got the lobster crunch roll and I got the California roll. First, the California roll has good for a typical roll and fresh! Second, that golden California roll is delicious! We both loved that one the most! I didn’t try the lobster crunch but she said it was good. We will go back to get more!

Delicious fresh fish, fantastic sushi, one of my favorite imported beers and hands down favorite Sake.The oysters are flown in fresh daily from Seattle, specific fish flown fresh from Japan & variety and freshness is top notch. 10/10 would recommend sitting @ the bar and let the chef just make the magic

Great food experience, the quality was very fresh and tasted great. The rice was excellent, the fish smelled amazing, was a bit busy but it was a understandable for a Sunday evening. Good menu selection, not all you can eat but sometimes thats fine. Overall I would go back again.

Had sushi, teriyaki salmon and miso soup here plus a cold Sapporo beer. The best. The person who waited on me (and my friend) was very gracious and brought me a fork (plus a chopstick “trainer”) wrapped in a napkin so I wouldn’t be shamed.

Was in the area for work, felt like sushi. Looked them up and the food Looked good. Called in my order and they told me 10 to 15min. Got there early and food was ready.Got me 2 rolls and man where they good. Nice and fresh and great portion. Got the Lobster Volcano and Golden California. Recommend this place if your in the area

Lunch specials are a really goos deal for a great variety of food!! Absolutely delicious but must be consumed pretty soon before it cools off as it isnt nearly as good later. The sushi on the other hand is good even hours after, but best fresh! SO GOOD! Highly recommend.

While traveling I had stopped for the night in Lake Elsinore, dinner was upon me and Sushi sounded amazing. I looked on the map for a walking distance restaurant and this came up with great reviews. I ordered a few rolls and all I can say is they definitely put time into crafting there meals. They were so tasty, fish was fresh and sauce was really good. If I ever stop here again in this area this is going to be my Go-To dinner spot! One thing is then menu is very basic as no real description of the roll ingredients as in what veggies and such but still very good!

Finally, I found another quality sushi restaurant that actually has real crab. Although I had to ask for it and it is a bit pricey as real crab & lobster are, it was definitely worth it. On point, authentic, absolutely delicious and satisfying! I was politely seated at a small table and allowed to fill out the form to place my order to go. The dining area was small, maximum occupancy of 60 .. and they were packed!Always a sign of a top notch establishment.

Where do I start. This place is legitimately the best sushi place in Lake Elsinore and a good sushi place is hard to come by in this city since its not that diverse.Make sure you try their sashimi boat option which is only available on the white sheet they give you for the rolls. In regards to the rolls try them all throughout your repeated visits here. The servers are very attentive and the sushi chefs are very sociable.

Our first time here and we were a little disappointed. We had read the reviews about the excellent customer service and the friendliness of the waiters but we experienced no such thing. The food was good, not the best sushi but definitely better than most weve had in Lake Elsinore, definitely not as good as Orange Sushi in the city of Orange where we came from. Definitely not worth coming back.

I’ve been coming here for over 14 years when it was originally Kokoro sushi. Hana and Charlie are total sweethearts and have never changed, they provide the best service and always the best sushi. I now bring my son here or pick up for us on the regular, and never once have been disappointed. Highly recommend them, they are by far one of the best sushi spots in Elsinore.

Why this place has such high reviews is a complete mystery. The food here is atrocious. We ordered our go to appetizers and sushi items and what we got was barely cheap buffet quality. The mixed tempura we got had items all at different frying temperatures and 2 of them were literally burnt. I cant remember the last time I saw burnt tempura. The beef yakisoba was appalling. It wasnt stir fried and light....it was a plate of reheated, dry ramen noodles with a nasty and COLD dollop of teriyaki sauce dumped in the middle of it. I mean they didnt even have the sense to stir fry that in. Usually yakisoba takes awhile to get because its being stir fried but it came right after our drinks were dropped and before anything else, even edamame. The table next to us had 3 children who also ordered yakisoba, all of whom said it wasnt good either. Of the 2 rolls we initially ordered one we didnt even eat because the sauce was off putting both visually and taste wise. Again, Im not sure whos rating this place so high....maybe they never get out of Elsinore to eat sushi but I know my family and I will never be back.

Nice strip mall sushi in Lake Elsinore. The hosts know their regulars by name and order, which is an endearing trait. The menu is diverse in that they have several noodle options and plated/bento meals. If youre a fan of Okinawan beer, they carry Orion!!! Can accommodate 2 large groups 6-8.

This is a great place to get Japanese food- weve gotten the tempura lunch- lots of food great price - we also got a California Roll and Rainbow Roll - I must say probably the best sushi rolls Ive had in a long time. If I could leave zero stars I would. This was our favorite sushi place in Lake Elsinore. We do not know why everything changed, if it was ownership or what, but we simply cannot eat there any more. We called in our order and was already a bit taken back when they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. What we got was old sushi, pre-prepared. The rice was dry, the tuna was old. We are hoping no one gets really sick. The volcano roll tasted like they poured sugar in it. The Teriyaki salmon also tasted like it had pure sugar poured over it, and the fish was rubbery. The tempura was undercooked and soggy. The chicken tasted like it had been reheated from leftovers, way overcooked to the point of being hard to chew. Literally every single dish was poor quality. The spicy tuna rolls and the yellow fin tuna rolls tasted old and the rice was dry like it had been made several hours beforehand. Wed have been better off grabbing a package of sushi from Stater bros across the parking lot. As I said, this was out favorite sushi place in town. They used to be excellent. Whatever they did to cut corners, it was a bad decision. We will not be back. If wed wanted fast, reheated food, we could have gotten that for less than half the price. It seems we have lost another fine establishment in our town. Sad to not have this option any more, but you dont get second chances when you are serving sushi. I am so disappointed. None of us to even eat half the meal, it was literally just awful.

We ordered 4 rolls: golden california, monster, spicy tuna, baked lobster. Each roll had 6-8 pieces. They were bigger than bite size, great price point for what you get. Can’t wait to come back !

It was our favorite place for sushi. Been there a few times. The last time we were there my wife and I sat at the bar. We had a conversation with the chef while we were eating. He was talking about the blue fin tuna and gave us a sample. When I got the bill, I was charged $30 for that sample even though I did not order the blue fin. I asked the chef if this was a mistake and he told me it was not. We left there feeling cheated and never want to go back.

Went here on a Sunday around 1pm, but apparently they didn’t open until 2. After waiting an hour, we finally went in. Ordered food, but had to change our orders about 3 times because the food we chose was not available. This was quite annoying cuz why not cross it out then? Finally, the food was disappointing. It was obviously not fresh and not quality made. Not even the little slice of orange looked like it was prepared in the past 5 hours. Whoever runs this business have passions that lie elsewhere.

I just ordered some today and oh my god the food was delicious! Im a huge fan of salmon and the salmon I got from my order was so fresh, it almost tasted like it came straight fresh from a freshly caught salmon. The textture was amazing and the flavor was downright so flavorful. I never ordered tuna or yellowtail but my husband ordered some too and I tried some (I never order those fish because I never liked the taste) and it was amazing! I been to order sushi restaurants but Nekkos always have the best salmon for someone is a literal salmon lover (they have a salmon lovers roll!). I totally recommend this restaurant and please, if you live in Elsinore and love sushi, support this place! Ill be so sad if they ever have to close down.

Weve been coming here since 2007. Its the only good Japanese restaurant around. Our favorites are ahi tuna salad ( the classic one from Kokoro), yellow tail kama, rainbow roll, all kinds of sushi. My 9 year daughter loves sashimi and the fish here are always fresh. All the staff are friendly and the service is fast.

I had called kokoros to order in my foods and they told me that it would be ready in 30 to 35 minutes. When I arrived to pick up my food (30 minutes later) I told them I was here to pick up the food I had ordered over the phone, they then, put in my order and told me theyd be ready in 20 minutes. I thought the whole point of calling in your food was so you could just arrive and pick it up, not arrive and have to wait. I was not happy with the service, especially when I had two hungry little kids crying in the car, so waiting felt like forever.
