Neko Sushi in Brentwood

Nice clean place. Friendly people. Didn’t have to wait long. All thought our food did take alittle long. I got the salmon skin roll and … both were a good amount of food. Fish was fresh. Also ordered the mango … very tasty and the mango was a perfect topping! The salmon skin salad had the perfect crispness to it. Lots of parking.

This was a last minute dine out for my husband and I and we were glad to have stumbled upon this quiet and clean little sushi joint. The staffs were extremely friendly, we were greeted immediately upon entering the establishment. We ordered 4 rolls, the dragon (not pictured), the 49er (not pictured), the mango crunch roll and the happy hour roll. We were pleased with both the taste and quality of all 4 rolls and will definitely come back again. The cute little cat decorations were also a plus for me ☺️ highly recommended for anyone craving sushi!

Awesome food and service. I am allergic to fish but love chicken teriyaki rolls. They made one for me and unfortunately I forgot to tell them to put it in a separate container. They were happy to make me a new roll and even put notes in their system attached to my phone number for next time. Awesome staff friendly and great food.

Nice little family owned restaurant. Very nice and attentive servers. Sushi and Ramen were all very good. We also had Salmon skin hand roll which was very well made.

It’s a small restaurant, maybe 12 tables, more or less. It is located in a shopping center so no need to worry about parking.Food:The food was good: I had the Tuna Poki Salad. Ive never had poke (Poki) salad served the way they did it. It looks like Tuna on a bed of cucumbers, seaweed, and special sauce topped with rice noodle. Didnt have any other veggies. I actually liked it a lot but not the rice noodle on top. There was a good amount of tuna in that salad. Which was very much a plus, plus, plus!Also ordered the California Salad, veggie tempura (standard), soft shell crab, and salmon belly. The salmon belly was a beautiful piece of thick cut salmon (a little too slimy for my palate) but some might enjoy it though.Service:it took a minute to scan the QR code for the menu and it never came up. And no we were not the only ones having trouble. They might want to invest in wifi. They have a menu book so good on them. But the menu does not show the prices. So we ordered blindly :). We didnt know the prices of the items we ordered :(.There was only one person working the front (she was the host and server/waitress). It may be a small place but she needs help. Because they also have online or phone orders to be picked up and shes helping them too.

Sushi tasted fresh and delicious! The Unagi Nigiri sushi was so delicious, the sauce tasted perfect - not too sweet! The warm house sake hit the spot on a cold winter night! Good and friendly customer service. We will definitely frequent this place.

My wife and I went here with a couple friends and our daughter the other night. The size of the place wasnt overwhelming and makes it easier to spend time with their customers. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I was hoping for raw oysters but they did not offer them. But on to the nitty gritty, the scalop shot that they had was a fantastic and with tons of layers of flavor. I ordered a nigiri combination and saved the tuna for last. The fish was very fresh and the cuts were great...compliments to the chef and the friendly crew

While I cannot speak to the sushi quality, the vegetable tempura and agedashi tofu were solid vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and the portions are reasonable for the current economy. It would have been nice to see asparagus instead of green onion in the tempura, but that is a minor qualm.

2nd attempt coming here. Lets hope we don’t end up with food poisoning.Bad quality food - from the ginger that smelled off/seemed very old to the sushi overpriced to the worst lukewarm, semi cooked noodles with overcooked egg ramen we have ever had.Bad customer service- very long wait. Make you feel second hand to all their DoorDash orders. Customers should come first. 1 English speaking waitress for the entire place and a lot of very slow forgotten orders.I don’t know how it has a 4 star rating.

I loved it here. Our waitress was very nice, refilled the water often. The monk fish liver quality here is probably the best I’ve ever had. Super smooth texture. I’m normally not a tuna sashimi person but this one was really good, and the yellow tail.
