I had an amazing dining experience at this Chinese restaurant! Their sweet and sour pork is hands down one of the best Ive ever tasted. The vegetable dish and pork cabbage soup were equally delightful. The service was very responsive, and I didnt have to wait at all when I visited for Sunday lunch. Parking is along the neighborhood, we had to drive a little bit to find a spot but it wasn’t crowded. I highly recommend this place for a delicious and hassle-free meal!

One of the best Chinese food in Bay Area. The food was really delicious! The service is nice and quick. The price is not expensive.Every dish we tried was really good, especially pig ear, sweet&sour pork, pumpkin with egg yolk.

Amazing food! The owner is super friendly. He treats all his customers like his old friends! It’s not super fancy foods, but it taste like home. Highly recommend their beef stew w/ tomato sauce and honey walnut shrimp. I just wish the tomato skin wasn’t left in the dish. But that wasn’t too big of an issue! Decently priced and portions were good too!

We went for lunch and the wait was about an hour plus.The food was good but I dont know if its really worth the wait for next time.The ribs was really good. The staff said it was the most popular dish people ordered - and it was on every table - but I believe it was pretty pricey. The other food we ordered was good too.

Food was so good and the service was amazing! I assume our server was the owner himself based on other reviews but he was great. When we were ordering we sort of ordered some stuff we were already familiar with, and he gave us some awesome suggestions to add a bit of variety to our meal. Everything that came out was delicious and the standout was the Shanxi Pork Noodles, it was soooo good! We inhaled all the food 😁

Super friendly staff. Authentic northern Chinese food. We liked the dishes we ordered, especially the smoked pork knuckle which was very tasty. They also have various frozen dumplings and buns that you can buy and take home.

Came here recently after my dad suggested trying out a new spot in our area. Im definitely all about supporting local businesses!Located on El Camino Real, right on the edge of Millbrae, is New China Foods. When you first walk in, theres a few tables, but you can also see a deli area. We were greeted by staff and given a table right away. The inside is modern and well lit. As mentioned above, they also have deli items you can purchase by weight.Onto the food! Here are the things we ordered:• #80 Shanxi Pork Noodle• Pork Chitterlings (these are actually to-go/deli, but the ones in the menu we wanted were not available. They offered to substitute this item for us)• #41 Fish Fillet w/Garlic Sauce (honestly tasted like sweet and sour sauce, so not sure if we truly got garlic sauce)• #21 Fried Tofu with Brown Sauce• #99 Laotongguan Roujia Mo/ Chinese Burger (my only gripe is that the filling isnt too flavorful)We were also given a cold appetizer dish on the house. There was pigs ear, seaweed, mustard green, and tofu noodles. Id have to say that everything tasted great! Food was nice and hot and had good flavor. Items came out timely and were nicely portioned. There are dumplings and other goodies for sale in the freezer. Im slightly sad that theyre not on the menu, but if Im back, Ill be sure to buy some!Overall a great experience. Staff is friendly and attentive. Parking is super easy, since El Camino is all street. Definitely dont miss this spot if youre in the area!

Very good food! Also super nice staff – David recommended some great dishes for us (lamb, fried noodles and Chinese burgers, all great!), and made sure we were well taken care of for the night. Also good humor :-)) Large dish sizes, and we were even recommended to share 3 dishes instead of ordering one each.Prices are also very reasonable! (Especially given the quality of the food).Sadly we are traveling back home to Denmark tomorrow, otherwise we would have been back for sure.

Great food! The owner and staff were really friendly and the place was spacious and clean. The owner even suggested what to order, wc was great bc we were clueless and every dish was amazing. We’ll definitely come back the next time we are back in the Bay Area.
