Everything is delicious and portions generous. Great value for authentic Cantonese food...and if you are adventurous...theres frog, turtle, abalone, geoduck clam on the menu. Highly recommend!

Very happy and satisfied. Great attentive service and staff were very friendly. The portions are huge and the price justified. The flavor and cooking technique was spot on and serve as a model for great Monterey Park Chinese cuisine. The 2 for 1 lobster for $11.99 w purchase of 3 entrees was a great deal!

Its now named as Taste of MP. New ownership? Not sure! But the lady manger is still in charge that I see.Many times that I went was for lunch. The price is fair. Volume is good. Quality is better than fair. Service is excellent. I enjoyed a lot is the house soup that is served with the meal without extra charge. If you dont know, let me say that most of the time the Cantonese soup is cooked using best fit seasonal ingredients to help maintain good balance of Yin Yang of ones physiological being. The six private rooms is also a plus. Although they are not sound proof, but do provide some degree of privacy for us to have a private party without curious eyes looking at us. Ok to return.I am posting 4 stars only because the fifth is for improvements going forward.

Very good. However, for some reason Taste of MP and this one is the same or mixed up. Anyways, its just confusing. We had 8 people and I forgot the names of the dishes. The food here is some of the BEST Ive tried. The space is a little small, but thats fine. The people were nice and did their job without sloppiness.

Pretty good place and very good food. Some very good deals to be had here especially when they have the BOGO lobster special. The fish we got was kind of unexpected. I originally thought it was more of a stir fry as opposed to actual fried fish. But that’s my own problem for not asking. Service was good yet ok at the same time. They always seemed busy and disorganized. It was hard to get a waiter at times.

We just go to this restaurant yesterday (5/18/2023), I order food that lot of people might not will order -there Pork Testinent pot, and 金銀蛋大豆苗( Vegetables with Siver & Gold eggs ) also order theirDessert ( Taro & 銀耳).Their service are good.But happen to see something unexpected- A couple take their children eat there, and also packed food to go (when we are there, they seems finished their meals already )They use credit card to pay ( but not willingto add any tips ), and even come back tryto give the food back - and said they dontLike the food.......Because of this, the young waiter been blame by his Boss .I really dont understand this couple what they are thinking - for my personal opinion:Before you step into this restaurant, you can tell they are not a small restaurant to sale you lunch special ( lot of small restaurant - each item on menu easily over $ 10- $11 )For my personal opinion - if you could notAfford come out to eat - then best way justpurchase material and cook at home - alsodo not do the bad model in front of your young child to let them learn eat and not pay such kind bad behavior - that definitelynot worth to copy and follow .

Had steamed red snapper, sauted squid with vegetables also had seafood and tofu soup ALL OF IT WAS VERY GOOD. Dont let the outside appearance scare you off, by the way the name Lucky Seafood doesnt appear on the outside of their building took me 3 tries to realize that the GPS wasnt nuts.

Service was a bit so-so, since it seemed most of them were on their lunch break when we arrived around 2:30pm, but you kinda get used to this kinda of service around here. They did bring out rice and the daily soup before we even ordered, so that was pretty quick. Menu wise the lunch specials go all the way until 5pm and there is a decent variety. We got the sweet and sour fish & the beef with green beans. The fish was definitely crispy and the batter actually almost reminded me of funnel cake batter, but still was good. The beef and green beans were cooked right and the sauce was tasty as well. Overall: Good price, plenty of parking, food is good, service is so-so.

Has a special going on when we visited that if u ordered 3 dishes u can then get the lobsters dish for only $9.99(2 lobsters cooked in ur chosen style). Other food we ordered were great, though a bit on the pricey side, but really great quality. Giving it a 4star because while there is such a special on lobster going on, waitress didnt care to tell us, nor was there a sign about it. I only found out by asking a waiter.

When we arrived, there were other tables, but we kept being pressured to sit at a table awkwardly placed at the very entrance to the dining area and would have had to move as servers and other customers came. Though other Chinese were immediately seated, after half an hour, they still kept pressuring us to sit at the same table.We went down the street to NYC Chinese Restaurant and the service was awesome. The food tastes great. Restrooms and restaurant was clean. Lots of parking.Go somewhere where you can enjoy the food without being mistreated.

Good food and exceptional service, as being one of the more busier restaurants in Monterey Park. I always come here whenever we have a special occasion because of the easier reservations of tables ( if you speak Cantonese.) The lobster and geoduck specials are here year-round, which is a plus. On weekdays, it doesn’t have too much people, but on weekends ( especially on Chinese holidays), the place is a chaotic mess. however, they do try to seat you calmly.

I came here because of a relatives celebration of life. They serve 7 course dinner catered to a Chinese traditional custom. I fell in love with the crispy roast pork with jelly fish dish. The jelly fish is just okay. The roast pork on the other hand is on a different level. Its seasoned with the right amount of saltiness, the meat is juicy paired perfectly with the outer crispy skin. My tastebuds just had the best treat today, well elevated a bit when i had no breakfast or lunch prior this dish. The rest are pretty typical for a chinese restaurant.

This is probably like the 30th best Chinese restaurant in the area, but the majority of those on top30 are severely overpriced (seafood harbour) because they know there are some idiots who value service and who is sitting near you as opposed to food quality, authenticity and price. Also before you judge this places service or any other place, do me a favor and GO TO CHINA and see how the service is there...its a cultural thing, to them good service is what we Americans find to be passable. You have to understand that ALL cultures arent like ours and vice versa. When I eat at a authentic restaurant regardless of the ethnicity, i dont ever assume stuff, because the second you do, you give everyone else a bad rep as a ignorant gwilo.Some of you idiots giving negative reviews probably think panda express is authentic Chinese food (roflmao) and think all Chinese cuisine is the same.....which is like saying all American food is the same...which it isnt.

Food was cheap, a little worse than ok but the venue is a little, uncivilized. We had braised lobster noodles, orange chicken, egg tofu and mushrooms. Most of the dishes were underseasoned (no salt), but they used a lot of butter in their braised lobster noodles which ive never had before...it didnt work for me. Lots better places to try that serve the same stuff.
