I’ve grown up in Chula Vista and this has always been a go to Chicken spot for my family and myself. Crunchy, savory, and great kick of spices for your taste buds. After 11 years away the chicken has not changed and I am overjoyed that it’s flavor is still around. The fried rice is a perfect compliment to the chicken. The egg drop soup is so hot and soothing going down, not salty like other Chinese restaurants. The touch of corn adds an extra depth of flavor. There free appetizer chips with sweet sauce just tickles the taste buds and prepares you for the entree if you don’t get full off of it first.

I went to this restaurant with my family and we all thought the food was absolutely delicious! We got the family dinner (number 2) and the salt pepper chicken wings. I genuinely enjoyed every bite of my food. The Mongolian beef and fried rice were my favorite! My family loved the wings! We had a lot of left overs (which I look forward to eating later), but be mindful of the large portion sizes. The service was great- answering all of our questions and very very kind. And the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I look forward to going back!

Its a small cozy Chinese eatery, theyve been here since the telegraph strip was built so thats saying something.Shop is small with minimal decor but everything else was amazing, food came swift, tasted amazing, and for the price? Heck I would give a 25 percent tip for overall quality.

Ordered a total of 7 items for a little get together totaling over $150. Opened the bag and only found 3 items. Presentation of food was hideous. Called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. She said “if you don’t speak Chinese I can’t help you.” Not the best food; just wanted want what I ordered and paid for. Refused to hear me out. Sadly don’t appreciate bad business practices. Very going back again. Horrible ownership and management. Money first; customer service and quality dead last is their business model.

This place is delicious. I always say I’m going to try something new when I go there, but my regular, the honey walnut shrimp is just too good. My boys loved the orange chicken and fried rice. It is a very busy place. It’s better if you call ahead to order your food, very large helpings very tasty. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

Yum and yum. It was a little hard to find the door to enter, but if you can read the restaurant signage, you are in the right place. The door is hidden by the brick column. The small restaurants are no reflection on the quality of the food or service.

This is must if you havent tried. All the dishes Ive tried herr have been bomb. My favorite is the salt and pepper fried tofu/chicken wings. I think they are one of the best in SD. Spicy eggplant is top notch and the house fried rice. It is a small place so the wait can be longish when it is packed.

When I first checked the menu I thought things were a little pricey, but they give GIGANTIC portions. Theres enough for me to have lunch, dinner, breakfast, and probably lunch enough off a single take out order. Very good food, with speedy and friendly service.

Good food and service. However, during the holidays specially for New Years Eve. They need to be better organized. The line has been out the door at least 2 hour wait. There should be a line for pick up and a line for walk-in. Other than that other times no problem at all.

First of all let me start by saying they need a website, the prices have gone up substantially. With that being said, this was a great choice. The food is tasty and moderately priced. The service was super quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean and orderly. We ordered thr sesame chicken and bbq pork fried rice and they were wonderful. We will be returning. To be blunt, the folks running this place are racist towards Black customers. My Asian mother has ordered food from here several times, paid w a credit card & had no issues, which is why I ultimately chose this place.I ordered ahead on the phone, everything was fine, & they were polite. However when I got there to pick up the food, I received very strange service. My order was sitting on the table but when I walked up and confirmed it was mine, the lady pulled it away off the table and held it away from me as if she thought I was going to run off w it.There’s a sign that says they accept credit card however when I presented mine for payment they told me they don’t take credit card. I told her we paid w credit card before but she offered no explanation as to why I couldn’t use it now. She asked me several times to confirm the order even though I had already done so upon entering. The total was $20 more than the price I was told on the phone. After paying w my debit card she set the food down and walked away without a word. I was completely taken aback by this experience.the way I was treated in person was a total 360 from the polite demeanor and good service I received on the phone. It was a Very disheartening experience and left me with a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day. I always opt to support small business but I won’t accept blatantly discriminatory treatment. I’ll be letting my family know not to patronize this business any longer.

Wow!! This place is really good!! It came recommended as very good with great lunch menu.We just ordered and took it home. It smelled sooo good in the car I couldn’t wait to get it home.It was so good!!! We had chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, shrimp tempura and egg rolls. We do have some extra for a couple of meals.Did I mention that it was so good and definitely not fast food. This is an excellent meal or even for a party..

My parents have been coming to this place for a few years. Service is always excellent and food is pretty good. I usually get the won ton soup w chop suey. Food has good flavor, is not overly salted. This place is usually pretty busy, which speaks for itself. Would recommend it.

We ordered orange chicken and Szechuan-style shrimp tonight, but what we got was “Szechuan-style chicken” and “orange shrimp”. My husband called them and the lady over the phone told him to bring them back to the restaurant with a suspicious tone. He was told that those were exactly what we ordered when he returned there with the food. Really? We’ve been using the restaurant for the last 7 years and have never happened like this before, and we know those flavors very well. They didn’t admit their mistake and said sorry or anything, according to my husband. They always had decent food, but it has to be the last time we order food here. Very disappointed.

I decided to try this place out as I have never eaten here.... And to my surprise I have been very disappointed my fried rice tasted like a week old. The Kung Poa chicken was dry and the only thing that was somewhat good was the salt/pepper wings. I will never recommend anyone to come here.I would rather eat quesadillas before ever spending another buck here.

This was a great place for my family to go to for a little family dinner. We had about 15-18 people BUT this place is not that big, just an FYI. They made it work and quick service.The place is decently kept clean. There was a slippery substance in the bathroom, might have been soap but might not have been. There was gum under our table and of course I only found out cause it got stuck to my 4 year old.Not that we could avoid it either but a moth-type insect fell from the ceiling into my oldest sons plate too. He was done from there. I felt bad for him cause he is a growing 11 year old and always chows down when we go out but once he saw that bug in his food, he was not having it and just drank some water and read his book.OVERALL - the food was good and good portions. The to go containers are the folding chinese food boxes which means some of the portions had to be put into like 3-4 boxes. Since this is a family style place for dining, I recommend some bigger boxes for to go so it can accommodate the dishes that have bigger portioned left overs.

The location is only ideal for a small group of people and may not be best for a party of 10 or more. Although the area is affording little or no extra room, its delicious and moderately priced food compensate for the minor inconsistencies.As previously noted, the salt and pepper chicken is the favorite and a must try when visiting this place. They are fried to a crusty golden brown and then twirled in a garlic, onion leaves, chili spices, minced garlic and pepper blend, which then becomes an obsession.The chow mein, fried rice and honey walnut all came with jumbo shrimp. Everything is tasty and flavorful. Although I would note that the fried rice contained more soy sauce than anything else.

The food is gross. Its like buffet quality or worse. Not worth paying $10. My szechuan beef was so chewy and weird tasting. Odd flavors like too much plum sauce or something sweet in it. Not spicy at all. Old vegetables that were wilted and brown. I couldnt eat much. Even the rice was dry and clumpy. Thought Id get sick if I ate anymore. I wont be going back.
