My favorite Chinese restaurant whenever I’m in San Ramon. Always ordered Garlic Eggplants, Dried string beans, salt and pepper pork and Chinese broccolis with oyster sauce. Never disappointed me.. so delicious 😋

Went here for lunch and tried their Lunch Specials - Fish with Mixed Veggies with Steamed Rice, Cashew Prawns with Mixed Veggies and BBQ Fried Rice, and Walnut Prawns with Chow Mein. Started with a bowl Hot and Sour Soup. Portions were good size for the price. Lots of protein. Lots of fresh veggies stir fried just right (firm, but cooked).Food came out hot and fast.Kid-friendly: Restaurant has high chairs.Would go back and try dinner next time.

Friend suggested to try this rather new Chinese restaurant. Clean and fast servicing. The 3 lunch specials were pretty tasty. We all liked the flavor. Plus there was no msg which is a great thing for Chinese restaurant. Will come again.

This is my most favorite Chinese go to place for last 5 years. I don’t know what changed but last 3-4 times constantly the food is salty in a way it’s not edible. And same feedback came from family and friends too. Just to ensure it’s not me alone thinking it’s too much salty. The hot and sour soup is way too sour. And too much corn starch makes it sticky. It seems the cook has changed or something. My kid will force me to go here but she also hates it now.

We are new to the area and decided to try the lunch menu. It was really good options and taste was good. We ordered orange chicken, prawns chow mein. The fried rice option with the lunch entree was spot on!

They are family business, father & mother work in kitchen, that’s why the quality & volume r always make us satisfied. They also had chef special wrote on a board at entrance,then make you have more delicious choices. Their price is reasonable and below other same level restaurants.

I got excited when I saw chicken w/ broccoli and beef broccoli but I have to be honest, I didnt really like the food. The Crab puffs have some weird cheese in them that most Chinese restaurants dont use and the plates apparently dont come with rice. Ill probably give the restaurant another chance despite this just because the staff is wonderful!

Stopped in while on the road traveling and we were not disappointed. We cant wait to come back. My husband and I agreed it was hands down the best Cashew Chicken weve ever had based on the wide variety of fresh, perfectly cooked veggies. Great portions for a great price!

I have eaten here both as to-go (dinner) and for here (lunch and dinner) for a total of 30 times now. They deserve a 5 star due to the consistent high food quality/affordability ratio. Clean too. No issues.

This is a nice reasonable priced place. Servers are always friendly and even make suggestions. Im here almost every time Im in San Ramon and it never gets old. The salt and pepper pork is my favorite and the fried asparagus is everything too.

Wife was craving for Chinese food and decided to try New Moon since its close to us. She went there ordered chicken chowmien, Spicy orange chicken, and chicken fried rice to go .They say if the food looks good it taste good. As soon as I open to go boxes I can already tell this is not good. I tried the spicy chicken orange and man I dont taste and orange flavor at all, its like they just fried the chicken and add some chili peppers to make it spicy. Noodles on chowmien looks like they need tanning because it is white as hell compare to what I had before that has brownish color to it which you can tell that they didnt put enough sauce on that dish to add flavor. Chicken fried rice need some flavor as well and it doesnt look appetizing. We are disappointed the fact Im expecting the food is gonna be good since this restaurant seems always busy thinking they serve really good food. Im not a professional food critique but I have tried too many chinese food in my life to tell these dish we had isnt good compare to some chinese restaurant. I even said to my wife Panda Expresss orange chicken has more flavor than theirs. If the dish is good 2 out of 3 maybe I can give it a try one more time but 3 dishes that doesnt sit well on my palate is a NO NO to us. I recommend to order orange chicken and chicken chowmien and see if they cook it differently now after posting this.P.S. the vietnamese restaurant (Pho) beside them cooks better IMO.

They just lost a permanent customer. Cook is NOT WEARING MASK! I waited 30 minutes for my food this evening outside, because everything is closed...I saw the cook in the back without a mask walking back and forth, scooping food into boxes, no mask. When the guy went to hand me my food I asked Is the older man in the back wearing a mask? He matter-of-fact said No. I asked for a refund. They complain during a pandemic that they have to close, and then they do nothing to stop the spread. But hey, the guy handing the bags out is masked because you know, appearance. They just lost a ten year customer. Covid or not.

I dont know if it was the owner or not but the man who seated us was really rude to us when my grandma asked for a different table. There were only 2 other tables being occupied at the time so they certainly were not busy and definitely had the space. Food was not great but as long as my grandma likes it, Im happy. I really appreciated the no msg if this is accurate.

Recommended side dishes that I ordered for the first time: taro ribs, braised eggplant with soy sauce, chicken feet, dried shrimp rice rolls, barbecued pork bunsGood taste and reasonable prices, cash only,Even though the waiter was very busy, his attitude was very good.The other small items are ordinary: Malay cakes, custard buns, and shrimp dumplings.I will come back to the store next time I come to San Francisco!
