Decided to order New Station Seafood via Doordash pick up.I ordered:-West Lake Minced Beef Soup $13.95, good-Hot and Sour soup $11.95, good-House Special Chow Mein $15.95, ok-Salted Baked Chicken Wings $13.95, a bit on the salty side. Would probably avoid next timeGood spot for Chinese food.Dedicated parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.Will be back!

There is zero parking as the road is blocked off (for now). Hopefully the city fixes that road soon so you can park. I went behind the restaurant into the neighborhood to park. Seems quiet and nearly empty. Lot of take out. Food is amazing and worth going anyway.

I have never actually eaten inside dine in. I always order soups for pick up. I LOVE their hot & sour it is so tasty Ive tried other places, but this place by far has the BEST hot & sour soup. I also ordered the wonton and egg flour soup.THEY ARE ALL VERY DELICIOUS!

First time here on a late night mission to find some food. So happy that they are open late! Super friendly lady answered and said I could come in and order even though the kitchen closed in 15min. (They were pretty busy when I walked in). Ordered. Food came out quick- maybe 10/15min wait. The mixed vegetables are bomb and I really liked the egg rolls. The chow mein was ok, the noodles are a bit thick but the flavor is good.

It is a very casual style Chinese/Cantonese restaurant. I was surprised by the quality of their dishes and it is in the top 10 Chinese restaurant on my list. It is not the restaurant with best service; however, the price and the quality of food make up the difference.

Had a major craving for chinese. & found this place online. Spent $40 on 2 combo plates & an appetizer for 2 & was so disappointed. The Entree portions were smaller than Ive ever gotten at any chinese restaurant. The Beef & Broccoli literally came with like 4 pieces of broccoli & 4 or 5 pieces of low quality beef. The general chicken was bland & didnt seem fresh. The appetizer combo came with 2 each of pot stickers, egg rolls, foil wrapped chicken, fried prawns, and a serving of BBQ pork. The BBQ pork was 90% fat/gristle. The fried prawns were mostly breading, I honestly didnt taste anything but breading. Everything else was just okay. Worst chinese food Ive ever had. Skip it!!!

Service is alright but cant complain because the waiter did help us pour our food in our to go plates. The food is really good here. The plates of food are big enough for three to four servings, depending on what you get. The crab cream cheese won tons are so good here. I love that the corners of the won tons arent burnt.

Food is always fresh and good on weekends and I appreciate the authentic Cantonese homecooked flavor.I recommend the beef brisket stew (牛腩）and the braised black mushrooms with stewed greens. The rice plates are pretty good choice going for lunch, I personally like the Mongolian Beef. The three dish family dinner (around 40 USD) is great value.Service isnt always the best but I understand being on Broadway can be a difficult area for small businesses. Restaurant is outdated decor at this point, but food is on point.Go between Wednesday and Saturday for the best food or Sunday for a slower paced meal

This one of my all times favorite Chinese restaurants in Downtown Sac. Actually, on Broadway. I havent been back since Covid-19.Same awsome yummy cooking. The schedule was cutting back to midnight not 1AM. Still open 7 days from 11:00AM.We ordered salts bake shrimps, they asked if you wants to have shrimps shell off, on with shell on. Seafoods clay pot and tofu fry or soft white. We ordered fry tofu, its had carrots, snow peas, mushrooms, other white fishes and lettuce . Very generous portions we took left overThe steam rice cook just perfectly right, not too dry or too watery undercooked.All with hot teas, total of$35 and some small changes.I would recommend foods here are great, and very courteous respectful server. She packed our leftovers for us, and we are very happily full hardly cant walk ! ☺👍 thumb up !!

I made a phone order and I was asking questions and the lady that answered the phone who was rushing me and said she was busy... I show up 25 min after placing my phone order and waited 5 min to be helped... Then waited another 15min because they never placed my order in this empty restaurant. Came here for the first time to celebrate my moms birthday bc the photos to the reviews look good. The restaurant was empty when we got there on a Saturday 6pm. We ordered the $108 seafood special plus tomato beef chow mein and wet beef ho fun for a party of 8. The special included fish maw soup, mustard greens mushrooms, walnut shrimp, tofu with shrimp topping, fried fresh lobster, steam sole fish, and mixed vegetables with fish fillets. So its like $15 per dish, which was pretty good deal. However, the food was just so so. It doesnt taste fresh. The shrimp topping tasted like undercooked corn starch. My husband found a piece of wire mesh, like a scrub sponge in his soup. However, I didnt feel much of the msg aftertaste so thats a plus. You get what you pay for. Can see why this restaurant is empty compared to the Ming Dynasty few blocks down. The decor and the food are subpar compared to other Chinese Seafood restaurants. Will only come back to try other non seafood dishes.

Someone used my card there and when I called to ask what form of verification they use for debit cards she said nothing and I explained why I asked and she just yelled over the phone and kept asking me “how would someone use your card!!?” Over and over wouldnt even let me talk. The foil wrapped chicken looked old and burnt, to me the chow main was dry, the fried rice was well Ive had better. I felt our server was rude as well. Nothing to write home about. Ive had take out once, the family meal, and most of the food was pretty good. It came with shrimp two ways. The shrimp? One was supposed to be like fried prawns. I dont even know what that was on the shrimp. It was some weird dry grainy like cornmeal batter fanned out in a big triangle and I think it was baked? It was dry, the shrimp were tiny and overcooked. It was inedible. They went in the garbage. The second one was I guess like a salt and pepper shrimp with the head still on, those two were overcooked dry and rubbery and went in the garbage.My second attempt here was at the restaurant. Even though we ate there at the restaurant the orange chicken that my friend ordered was completely soggy and as he said slimy. The orange sauce on it was delicious but the fried breading on the chicken made it unedible to him. My chicken egg foo young was okay. I wont eat here a third time.

When I arrived there were two Junkies Smoking Crack Where the Only Parking is, (which is in View of their Cameras). Once inside the Lady Was Super Rude, she did Not Acknowledge me Not even Once, as she helped Dash and two other Walk-ins, when I confronted her she through her Hands up and Mumbled something and Walked away. I havent had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant but I ordered Postmates delivery from here and the food was so mouthwatering and delicious that I HAD to leave a review. Its been so long since I had a bite of Chinese food from a restaurant and the initial response was YUMMY. Sometimes theres way too many green onions added or its too oily, etc., but in general, its too much. The abalone and chicken porridge and the spicy salt baked frog that I ordered from this restaurant was perfect! I thought that the restaurant would skimp the abalone and minimize the amount but they gave me at least 5 juicy slices of abalone in the porridge. I thought the chicken would be dry, chunky thick pieces but the chicken they gave me was soft and chopped up, savory and melted in my mouth, blending perfectly with the porridge, which had some slices of ginger but not overwhelming. The frog was easy to chew, not too salty, perfectly spicy. Such a wide selection of menu items too! Ill have to try other items next time since my stomach can only fit so much in one sitting.

I gave him my daughter name he walked over to the order on table looked at the receipt and said it wasnt the order. The food was not anywhere as good as other places that I’ve been in Sacramento and, honestly, anyone who likes this place has NEVER had good Chinese food. I will not be back as I feel like I just took my hard earned money and threw it in a trash can. Very rarely do I not finish my food. I ate a rotten bell pepper, the flavors were nill, and the cuts of meat were bad. I found more fat in my dish than anything else. This meal ended up in my trash can.... where it deserves to be. Contact me for a list of much Chinese better places in Sacramento. I eat out more than I should and I’ve been around. Don’t say I didn’t warn you if you end up eating here. ;)

Food is usually good but for some reason my order was absolutely disgusting. I ordered through Uber Eats. I was missing 1 egg roll and I’m cool with that because it was extremely greasy. The short rib was ok but was a little greasy. The fried rice was greasy tasted old and lacked flavor I tried to mask it with soy sauce but by the time I was done I felt like I was gonna have to call 911 with the amount of grease I consumned it just tastes like pure soy sauce. Ordered dinner selection of three dishes. House soup is good, traditional, unlike egg soup that resembles a thick corn starch base soup flavored with MSG.Two dishes faired well: tofu and bbq pork (some pieces were okay, and some old meat. They are discolored.) and chicken with Chinese broccoli.Yet third dish was a disaster: soy sauce chicken. Often restaurants re-cook meat to serve customers, yet the chicken meat was obviously old meat. I could not chew through one piece. It was tough from drying out. The meat had inedible dark areas. That is a sign it is old meat.My daughter said it did not taste as soy sauce chicken. She made the remark, before I offered my opinion of the piece I attempted to eat. We gave the remaining plate of chicken back to the kitchen, saying we could not eat them.I know how to make this dish, therefore can distinguish old meat from fresh meat. And I do not mean an old hen...as they claimed.Service was good.

We got the crab wontons, wonton soup, and mushu chicken. Service was super fast and very very friendly, and they were so nice to our 4yr old and proactively brought her silverware. The food was good quality, but the crab wontons were underfilled, and the soup lacked seasoning. The mushu pancakes were so thin they couldnt hold up to the filling, and the plum sauce was average. Lets start with the good... the roasted duck was a 7 outta 10. But the fried calamari was the worst thing that I have ever put in my mouth, and Ive tasted both dot and cat food. It was virtually inedible. The tempura was disgusting and gummy. I have never known an Asian restaurant that screwed up calamari so horribly. YOU DONT TEMPURA SQUID.

Awesome restaurant! All 3 dishes we ordered were great! Bittermelon with beed in black bean sauce, Braised rock cod with tofu in clay pot, and black mushrooms with Chinese Broccoli. My Honey said the Bittermelon is hard to find at restaurants and theirs reminded him of the one his grandpa used to make when they lived in SF. Please give it a try, this place is extremely underrated! Food is great and service is friendly!

I had a HORRIBLE experience with them. Ordered via Door Dash and my order was wrong. I tried to call and see what they wanted me to do to correct it and they hung up on me. Then I drove in to try and get my order fixed and I was ignored at the hostess stand for almost 10 minutes before someone tried to help me (they were NOT very busy). The rest of my order was cold by then. It was awful. After all was said and done, the food was just okay.

I love the food and have a deep respect for Joe the owner. Not because of this but I spend about $100 + pre month. There have been some very condisending overtures to me by staff. Some times I am not given a menu for as long as a half an hour to 45 minutes. And it would be longer. The waitresses have complained if I use more than 3 napkins. Ive left my medications here by accident and it was tossed out. Just tonight I was told that I dont spend enough money to get ice in my water and a knife and fork. Old habits or hard to break. The customer base is Id say about 40% to 50% Black but 95% of that is take out. Unfortunately I am not take out. Plus I am proud to be Black and for some people that is a problem. Ive been coming here 15 years but have just started have these problems within the last 6 to 9 months. It is too bad that they cant or want see that what they are doing. For this reason I give them 3 stars.

Does Americanized Chinese food just okay, but does authentic dishes extremely well. Despite the sketchy outside and the unappealing English menu, the authentic Chinese food here is very good. Good for large groups, where you can order multiple dishes and split them using a lazy-susan. Bathrooms are sketch, tbh.

I really dislike the food Ive ordered from here. Ive ordered a General Chicken Combo and Chicken Veggie Chow Mein Hong Kong style both orders were really poor. The chicken is super fatty, not alot of lean meat. The fried rice is really flavorless. The Chow Mein is decent, just dont order Hong Kong style because that arrived all dried up and resembled a brick of 50¢ ramen noodles. I believe this place would be much better if they used more lean meat. Their flavor is good, but I am personally not a fan of fatty chicken

We scheduled a large 20 person lunch here because the restaurant told us they can make lo mai kai (sticky rice stuffed chicken) so we put it on our event menu. When we arrived with our party they told us they couldnt make it and would substitute it with lobster instead. Not only did they charge us more than we had initially quoted because they substituted this lobster, but the food came out 45 mins after our scheduled arrival and quality was not good. Our guests were clearly disappointed. We will not be returning.

We ordered Walnut Shrimp, which tasted dirty and sour like it was turning rotten, chicken chow mein which had a live catepillar like worm in the bok choy that my kid almost ate, salty spare ribs that were dry and tough, and shrimp with black beam sauce that tasted dirty. We called the merchant only to be advised to get a refund through postmates. The health inspector needs to shut this place down.
