My son and I had late breakfast/early lunch this morning. It was clean and cordial. There were 6 people in line for seating. We ordered 2 hu tieu Nam Vang and 1 xiu mai. The food was delicious, service friendly and fast, price reasonable. Were satisfied and definitely return to try different dishes. They do accept credit card.

One of my favorite asian chinese vietnamese restaurants. My favorite dish pork bone soup. Its a tender pork bone simmered couple hours adn savory soup. Crispy noodle with gravy is excellent. Fried rice also good. Weekend always busy, but it turns really fast so dont worry for waiting line. The server is friendly, but just extra caution with their english. Highly recommend

The food is great. The prices are low. The service is very bad. No waitor is astound to help. But the waiting is not long. I would not go on a date at this restaurant because the atmosphere is sad.

This is an old standby. The restaurant has been here forever and has always had good patronage from the locals. The place was almost full at 9:30 on a Saturday morning.Don’t come looking for the extraordinary. However, the food is competently prepared and the price is inexpensive. Recommended.

My favorite trieu chau noodles! I enjoyed the outdoor patio seating. Good food, great family style service, reasonable prices. The flagship trieu chau noodle is an obvious choice. I also recommend their fried fish cake. Yummy!

Up until a few years ago, whether I dined hear or not wasnt a priority. But since the wife and kid are big fans we go. And Ive come to appreciate the Chaosan cuisine. Especially after seeing the tedious labor that goes into making a seemingly simple dish. The food is consistently good and the place is usually full. Even on Christmas morning. If you want the Chinese Donuts you better get here before 10am. The service a few steps ahead of the prevalent Asian hustling clamor and rush.

Great place to have Teochew and Vietnamese dish. Even though the majority of customers are Vietnamese, they still keep and proudly serve some classic Teochew dishes such as Taro dessert and marinated Duck

Enjoyed my food. Handling the menu was unusually fun as the front and back of the menu was made of wood. I was treated to an unexpected celebration for lunar new year with firecrackers ignited on the opposite side of the front glass wall.

We always enjoy this restaurant, traditional breakfast for our family! The meatball appetizer is a good start for me to eat with Chinese donut. I also get the won ton soup only, no noodles, hits the spot!

Our whole family has been going to this yummy noodle for over 20 years! This is my ultimate comfort food! It is so delicious & comforting to dig in the warm white big noodle with their homemade fish balls (which are the closest in taste to my grandma’s homemade fishballs). I go to this place when I craved my childhood food and they hit homerun each time!! Thank you, Gary for serving delicious, consistent food for so many years!!

I usually get only the 2 same items so cant say that everything is good. But I do like this place and go there a lot. The servers know me by now and one of them always tell me what I want. I didnt even have to put in the request. I like it when a server takes care of me like that. I always give him $5 tip for my one bowl of egg noodles. People should tip better at the Asian restaurants. Theyre already getting cheated by a lot of the owners at other restaurants. The owner here is very nice and remembers my name from just the first introduction when ordering over the phone. Very personable. We lack that these days.

Amazing experience tonight! Wife enjoyed the grilled chicken Cajun pasta and I had the apple/walnut salad. Great service, clean premises...just eat here!! Thank me later! Well be back!Unexpected find just north of South Coast Plaza. Loved the fish tacos and you can also get tap beer with your meals. Its casual, but nice atmosphere.

I wasnt very thrilled with this place at all. Chiu chow noodles are the one thing I will always be excited about no matter what weather. The soup just didnt do it any justice here.Vietnamese coffee also didnt have much of coffee flavor either. I left this place pretty bummed.Its located right next to the Mall of Fortune. Parking lot is a good size in comparison to the restaurant.

Have been coming here for over 10 years and still seeing the same staff in the place; that says something about the management and consistency of food.Trieu Chau cuisine is not Vietnamese and so need to keep that in mind when visit here.

Hands down some of the best Udon in SF, but be aware that assembly and possibly some heating might be required. Call the restaurant to confirm if assembly of your dish is required if that might be an issue for you.

What do you do when youre in a foreign country and dont know where to eat? You ask the locals.So what do you do when youre in an area in Garden Grove that has SOOO many choices and want something just really simple? Well, I asked Minerva since she is a local and of course she steered me the right way.The Hu Tieu Trieru Chau (First item on the menu) is simple, but excellent. Its not mind blowing but I grew up on this stuff when I was living in Alhambra. Sadly, nothing comes close where I currently live. They will ask you if you want the thick or thin noodles. (I had to listen carefully because they will not speak English to you if you look Asian). A few small shrimps, some ground pork meat, some fish balls and a few flavorings, its really good ($5.50)Oh yeah, and when youre hungry, its not a good idea to hold a menu.So I ended up ordering 2 item items. The Pork fried rice ($7) and the beef with the fried noodles ($7). The pork fried rice was such a hit, its a good portion for the price. It was the winner of the night. The beef with the noodles had some Chinese greens along with it. Both are yummy.Yes, its Cash only. You can order to go from the guy in the front and pay the guy in the counter area by the kitchen. The food, amazingly came out in less than 5 minutes. The to go order comes with the green chilis and the hoisan sauce but if youre like me, you can request more small cups if youre a chili whore. I think I will bring my parents here. Its one of those places that my parents introduced me to and now I get to re-introduce them to a local joint.

Delicious Chinese Vietnamese Cambodian Chau Chow-Hu Tieu style noodle dishes. These noodle dishes which has both similarities and differences with their Chinese Vietnamese cultures Mi Vi-Hu Tieu noodles are often compared and confused. For the record the primary difference is the Cambodian flavor influence. This place has been serving the community since the 1990s. The decor has not changed much. Food comes out fast. Cash only.

One of the best places to get cheap and authentic Kuy teav (Cambodian noodle soup similar to pho). This institution looks run down but is always full of Asian families because it is consistently delicious and each bowl of soup is satisfying comfort food for the soul.My favorite is the beef noodle kuy teav with big, rice noodles. The seasoning of the soup is similar to pho with the extra addition of garlic, adding a more savory flavor component and cancer-fighting antioxidant. The combination of noodles, beef and garlic is just so good. They also have seafood options, egg noodles, and wonton soup, but the kuy teav is definitely the highlight here. The other best part? A normal sized bowl is $6-7 with only $1-2 upgrade to large so you get a satisfying meal that doesnt hurt your budget!
