A favorite restaurant for many Hispanic customers. On a late Sunday afternoon, we are the only Asian customers out of 10 families present. For the combination you get 2 shrimps, 2 beef balls, chicken, pork, and your choice of noodles in a bowl of very flavorful soup, all for about $12. Employees are not rude, typical of Asian restaurants, just like in Asia. Never pressured to give tips. Good, healthy, and affordable food. 👍

Excellent value for money. My combination won ton noodles came with 5 won tons, 2 prawns and various other pieces of meat. It also has authentic pork fat crackling. Shallots and coriander added to the flavour. It definitely fits the budget conscious. A small pot of tea was under $1. This is a large spacious place which at an estimate can seat about 100 people. No frills place and no frills service. It is open from 8 am which makes it an ideal first stop for the tourist.

I was there with my friend. We ordered a noodle for each of us, and I found a hair in my noodle….🤮I called the waiter to return it but he gave me a new one(there was something like hair as shown in the picture) we also asked for water but the waiter didn’t serve it to us.Tastewise, not recommended.Environment was so-so.Will never go back there.

Language barrier made choosing and ordering very difficult. I could have used some suggestions and information (at the very least) about the items on the menu. I loved the tea w pearls! Reasonably priced. Clean, organized place with friendly, very-little-English, staff.

Clean, well maintained, quick service. The place is ideal for anyone who wants to taste homely noodle soup and traditional southern Chinese dishes. Recommended for family or large group.

Honestly, this is not the Tung Kee I knew from O.C. Area, but the food was ok. Portion is big, I had the combo noodle with extra wonton. I should had skipped the wonton though, it tasted freezer burn. $21 with tip included (the cashier lady was pressured me to tip, she didn’t even let’s me have a chance to tip 🤣) for noodle and limeade drink.

There used to be a noodle house in Gilroy but it closed down since the pandemic so we havent had our fix for years. So we decided to come down to the downtown San Jose location and is exactly 200% with what we remembered In Gilroy!

Food was good and came out quick. The older cashier lady was pressuring me to tip towards the end, she kept tapping the tip jar, and I informed her I had no cash on me. And she suggested for me to give them a $2 tip on my card and proceeded to enter the total herself.
