Its name does not do it justice. It is so much more than a produce store, although it has a beautiful array of fresh fruit and vegetables. Its a gourmet specialty food store hosting delicious local products. Its a sweet little gift store with cute items such as mugs, tea towels and handmade soaps. But best of all it is one of my favorite Wheelmen coffee spots with a huge selection of yummy muffins & scones displayed beside an appetizing delicatessen.It is a hidden gem minutes off of i80 making it a perfect stop when traveling to Tahoe.

A little off the beating path, but well worth it. A true farm to fork store. Great local produce and fruit. Fantastic deli, and great coffee. Local wines, mandarins, cheese, etc... delicious scones. We bought a brie pastry to bake for Christmas day. Stupendous!

Really is looking great again! The food is all wonderful, but as someone who cannot eat red meat, there is not enough variety in the deli case (and so much mayo based salads?!?) but the baked goods, the produce, the local goods & the cheese selection are EPIC! Friendly & wonderful staff.

I love this place. Relatively small, but carefully filled with beautiful, peak-of-ripeness produce, yummy stuff in jars like jam and pickles, and unique and delicious candies and snacks. They have a small deli and frozen foods too. Today I just got some tomatoes, which were amazing. I took a picture of the tomato selection and included it here. I also was checking out their 17 different garlic varieties! I need to get a few different types next time I get a good loaf of bread so I can try them out! Tiny foodie paradise.

Delicious build your own sandwiches and scones. Local mandarins and fresh produce. Outstanding deli, specialty foods and beverages. Tables to eat inside. This is a hidden gem only a couple of minutes off of the Newcastle exit. It has been a favorite store for over 20 years, even since we moved out of state.

A favorite of mine in South Auburn. Always dependable if I need a quick breakfast stop or just some coffee. My personal favorites are the scones and the daily breakfast sandwiches.Fresh produce is always a plus and I really appreciate the atmosphere and employees. Hope to continue coming here for many more years to come.

I love this place, while it has lots of locally grown produce. It is also a great place to grab a bite to eat I pick up some scones for breakfasts and grabbed a soup and sandwiche for lunch. They are lots of different styles of drinks that you may not even find at most cafes in the area. My personal favorite is the hot apple cider. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good local market and deli. Havent been in in a while and I have to say the remodel makes the place look all the more welcoming. Great place not only to get a lot of local jams, candles, lotions, and more but also a great deli with homemade pastries and turnovers! Staff is friendly and Store appears very tidy. A local favorite, full of local grocery products and a seasonal selection. GREAT to go area with delicious salads, my favorite is the chicken salad. And the baked goods are never a disappointment. Love this spot, parking is no problem. And they offer a menu of classes to take that look fun!

Just left their business.. I mean I left everything on the counter and walked out. Apparently, the new owners were too busy facing merch to notice a customer. These are the new owners BTW. I was in last week and there were six employees standing in a huddle talking amongst themselves. It took that group several minutes to even notice. Please note I am local and have walked out due to lack of customer service. They really need to get their stuff together, otherwise they are giving the same sub-par customer experience.

I went to this deli because I had heard good things. Had some outdoor tables to sit and enjoy as well as tables inside. A popular place as all tables were full. The sandwich I got was amazing and worth the price. The produce was a little pricey but looked really fresh. A little off the beaten path but definitely worth the time and effort!

I love this natural food store and restaurant. The food is always great, they have new and unusual drinks in the fridge case AND you can get some fresh local produce. I meet friends there for lunch. They have a small outdoor dining area. The staff is always helpful and polite.

There were a few too many peppers in the grilled sour dough extra cheesy goodness sammy for my taste, but easy enough to pull a few out (and someone else may love a spicier taste) so I am not going to knock off a point for that. The tables hadnt been wiped down after the lunch crowd and thats a bit more serious. But I love this place so much that Im just going to hope that its better the next time.

Great little grocery store with a wonderful deli and coffee counter! They carry local produce from farmers in the area along with a lot of specialty food items and beverages/beers.They have indoor and outdoor seating and their sandwiches and wraps are incredible! This is a great lil place to stop for food or fresh produce.Their staff is incredibly friendly and will get to know you by name!

Have been going to Newcastle Produce for at least 10 years. My sister used to deliver fresh eggs, hence the discovery of this rare fresh produce grocer and deli. We usually purchase as many as possible of the daily, fresh, homemade peanut butter cookies ....which we freeze for afternoon tea. In addition, we choose several of the deli salads and some of the fresh vegetables. Sometimes, we indulge in the homemade salted caramels or other local delights. Always an adventure and great experience-the staff are friendly and offer their best service...if slow, it is because they care about the products they serve! A treasure!!!

Pricey, but they have great coffee and deli counter. Usually I am only here during bike rides, not regular shopping...but they seem to offer a lot of other great items. I often plan rides to stop here because they are generally bike friendly (water jug out front). I took a star off for price and no coffee refills. :(

Newcastle produce is well known for theyre great sandwiches and fresh produce. Unfortunately they have cysts sandwich-making for the time being, due to covid-19, but they still have great produce and excellent gourmet items!Sincerely hope they will open for their sandwiches again soon. Very friendly staff, very helpful!

This place has the most delicious sandwiches. Prepare to be blown away! The vibe was aittle bit high fallooting (lol) but the staff was super friendly . The prices are well in line for what you get and lunch, including drinks was $20. So worth it. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Because of the wait...don t get me wrong, i would go back in a heartbeat. Just wish it hadnt taken so long. Otherwise, go therr, your stomach will thank you! Lol

I ordered the Roastbeef Arugula and added goat cheese, and oh man did it hit the spot! Ive lived in Auburn for over ten years and have no idea why this has been my first time in here today! I was totally blown away by how many local companies Newcastle Produce supports!! The wide variety of fresh organic produce you carry is incredible!
