Weve been loving this restaurant since they started in yucaipa in the 80s. The fried spring rolls and lemon grass beef remain my favorite items. I tried the bhan mi this time too, and it was great!The pad see ew was not seasoned right and tasted kind of burnt. I poured some fish sauce on it and it helped.

Ive always wanted to take a photo of this restaurants sign and today I finally did. Since it was lunch time, I decided, why not head in and try out the food. I wasnt disappointed! As you enter your immediately immersed in Vietnamese culture from the beautiful woodwork and automatic spices that filled the air. It is #handicapaccesable and despite its small interior, theres plenty of seating with appropriate distancing between tables. It was very clean and the first place Ive gone to eat that has hand sanitizer Everywhere for customers to use. #CovidsafeOur food came out dish by dish, shortly after ordering. The food was very hot (temperate wise not spicy hot) and the portions very sharable which made lunch double the fun! We ordered pork fried rice crispy wonton and crispy springroll all delicious all exceptional. The staff was friendly and I believe Á Dông is a family owned/operated business which lends to the warm and inviting atmosphere. So my desire to capture a sign that has always made me giggle, has instead captured my attention and my taste buds. So I give Á Dông a 7 out of 10 for Best Restaurants in the Inland Empire .

Came for the name, stayed for the food lol. Passing through town on my way home from Coachella and saw this place. Great service and yummy food. I love pho and this place has a wonderful flavor. Also had the crunchy spring rolls and they were very tasty. Staff was friendly, helpful and prompt. Wish this place was in my town.

The flavor of the food was delicious, the service was good and the atmosphere excellent. The only issue I had was that the chicken pho had only two small strands of chicken in it. Chicken pho is the reason I enjoy Vietnamese food. Not enough chicken is reason enough for me to keep on driving. If you are at this place, however, be sure to get the cream cheese wontons, they are unique and flavorful. I only ordered the wontons and the pho and ended up paying over $23. I dont mind the higher price if the the quality of the food and service match. If Im paying over $16 for pho, there should be enough chicken in the bowl to justify the cost.

Been coming here for a long time and really sad to hear the owner passed away. This was unfortunately the last time I will be visiting this restaurant as I previously really enjoyed the food.The moment we walked in, the place was a mess, and almost every table had dirty dishes stacked high. Took a few minutes for someone to clear a table. Another 10 minutes to get a menu. Another 10 minutes to get water.A total of 50ish minutes go by when I wonder how much longer it will take for 2 Phos to be done. Mind you, the broth for the pho is premade and usually takes less than 10 minutes.I ordered the round eye and brisket, because I was hungry and wanted extra meat. When I finally got my pho, it literally only had 4 small sad pieces of meat. Also, my wife’s pho was STILL not done. 60 minutes later.I approached the waiter, asked to pay for the spring rolls only, and walked out. We ended up going to Noodle 21. They were packed but had an open table. Everything was clean. We got our Pho in less than 10 minutes with double the amount of meat I got from this restaurant.I wish I took a picture, but I was too hangry and just left.

We love this family-owned restaurant. Weve been coming here for about the last 20 years! The foods we order are consistently delicious. I love that they cater to the many vegetarian or vegans in our Blue Zone community! So there are many options to choose from and hopefully they will continue to provide more options.
Worst customer service ever! I think the waiter Quin’s needs a course on Vietnamese hospitality and etiquette!We just went in to pick up some pho and were asked to wait at the unclean bar… there was also a table where dirty dishes were just sitting around… very unappetizing…What definitely took the cake is his reaction to our young cousin asking for some water. His reaction was “I can’t keep giving you free water!” In a very rude tone. We had already ordered for two people and even tipped him so honestly politely telling us hey I need to charge you for water would’ve been the right thing to do. We can pay for our own water if we can buy pho and chicken so frankly not impressed and probably the worst customer service ever! Still tipped him because that’s what polite people do.
It’s 105 degrees outside, me and my family walk in to get some food to go, and we order some entrees and he invited us to go in and sit and we ordered our food and asked for waters while we wait 20 minutes for our food, my little sister walks in a few minutes after ordered and she asked for a water, and our rude waiter Quinn says so rudely, “are you guys together?…i can’t keep giving out free waters no i can’t give you water go ask someone else” and rolls his eyes and walks away. unfortunately we already paid for our food and tipped him, if we didn’t already pay we would’ve walked out that instant. terrible service never going back.
I love this place. I have been coming here for years. I have moved out of state and I still come by every time I am in SoCal. I went to school with the owner and she and I go way back!! It is a family owned an operated business spanning 2 generations. There is something for everyone here. I am blessed to consider my favorites on the menu as my comfort food. We are vegetarian and she accommodates us beautifully. Any meat in a dish can be substituted with tofu. I love the eggplant here, the Chow Fun, the spring rolls, the fresh rolls, lemongrass tofu, fried rice, the papaya salad, and from my meat eating days, I have fond memories of her awesome Chicken Rice Soup. Seriously, that soup was like a homecoming hug! Everything from the vegetarian menu is delicious!
Visited this place after 10 long years and the food is just as good as I remember it from long time ago. When I was a student at LLU, we use to frequent this place for a cool quiet place to enjoy some real authentic and simply prepared food. Never fails to satisfy the cravings for good vietnamese food in the Inland area. Would still recommend 9/10.
My friends love this place. And I can see why. Other reviews say food is delicious. True. We order the same dishes and every time they are delicious. The restaurant is usually always busy. This family works hard to provide great dining but sometimes they get so busy they fall behind. Even grandma is helping. Please be understanding. Thanks BTW. Im not part of the family
The broth here is delicious. I had the brisket pho and it was unbelievable. The spring rolls are also excellent. I went in for lunch and it wasnt too busy. The server was polite and our food came out quickly. Great overall experience.
I no longer work in Redlands but Ill make the 45 minute drive just to eat here two or three times a month. The food is delicious and there is a ton of variety. I have always been happy with literally any dish that Ive ordered. Try them out you wont regret it.
I was very excited to see Bo Cuon La Nho on the menu, and had to come in to try it!We also ordered crispy spring rolls and banh mi. The food was all delicious and fresh.The chili served with the fish sauce is also so good!!! We ended our meal with Vietnamese iced coffee and it made the whole meal that much more comforting.
A close friend has been telling me to try this place, let me tell you they didnt steer me wrong. The service was friendly atmosphere cozy and the prices are reasonable. We ordered the steak and onion banh mi sandwhich which was just amazing served on a baguette. Also ordered crispy spring rolls which were tasty and fresh, last we ordered the Sirracha wings which let me say were amazing and did not disappoint. Everything at adong was delicious and I cant wait to return, a true gem of loma linda.
I love this restaurant. My husband and i have been enjoying the food there for over 30 years (it was originally in Colton next to Maharajah). They have a great lunch special menu which is available every day. My favorite is lemongrass chicken and my husband loves the ginger jalapeno chicken.
Was seated, waited 20minutes before we got water and menus. Was being patient since we realized they were busy and understaffed. Until they began taking orders from people that were seated way after we were by the same person that sat us. So he should have known we were waiting way longer.
I have watched this place shut down...twice. Both times I think they were due to health code violations. It honestly still makes me a little nervous about eating here but the food is honestly good. The pho is rich and the noodles tastes great. A few friends of mine are vegetarian here and they tend to order a dish called Tofu with brown sauce. Really vague name but tastes great. One of the few spots where both my vegetarian and non vegetarian friends can eat together without any problems.
We had the pho noodle soup so tasty. I havent tried anything else. However if their pho noodle soup is awesome. Im pretty confident everything else on the menu is just as delicious. Also the customer service is warm and friendly. Just an added bonus. I highly recommend! Á Dông Restaurant.

Pho broth was thin and lacked any depth. The beef added to the soup was very scarce (least I’ve ever seen at a Vietnamese restaurant). Overall pretty disappointing.
I loved the food the first time I went and dined in but if you do consider take out, also consider that they will skimp on your food. I ordered teriyaki chicken and some other dish and got maybe an ounce of meat overall... all I saw was veggies and microwaved chicken chunks the size of a penny. I understand they must make profit somehow but this was a rip-off. I couldnt go back because I was on a lunch break but would never order any meat items from there again
The restaurant is clean and beautiful. The food is incredible! I could have eaten 20 veggie rolls, by myself. I highly recommend the vegan/vegetarian options. Everything was so delicious and we can’t wait to go back. 💕
Ive been here 3 times since moving to LL a month ago. Its my favorite restaurant so far in this area. No complaints. The lunch special is nice because it comes with soup, salad and rice at a really resonable price. Everything is very fresh. My favorite is the ginger eggplant. I have tried the veggie pho and the lemongrass tofu. Both are excellent. Cant wait to try the bahn mi next!

Good. There were two servers for lunch ( on our day), but only one was actually serving. Because of that, orders too longer as the lunch crowd came in. Wasnt allot, but enough to see a change in visit. Servers were polite and cordial B (due to wait time). Food a was B (again due to time). Atmosphere B- ( 1st table was wobbly, had to move - makes harder to eat and drink).However, they have an amazing limeade, fresh that was delicious. I ordered the fresh iced Jasmine Tea. Awesome, delicious. My wife and I had an idea, and the server accommodated us. We asked if they would 50/50 the above two. Like an Arnold Palmer. They did. No hesitation. It too some time but we got it. AWESOME. LIKE CANDY!!!! YOU MUST ASK AND TRY IT. The server said we were the first to ask and try that. Man was it good. I cannot stress how good that was.Above all a solid B

Im pretty new to Vietnamese cuisine and also came to Loma Linda for business, but this place was very tasty. I was a bit redundant in my order since I got some kind of chicken soft summer roll for appetizer (very tasty) and then got the beef grape leaves which you then wrap into your own roll. It was very filling and very tasty I certainly would come back here if work has me out again. Might come back before I leave.Service was a bit slow which is why I knocked a star
This is my favorite vietnamese restaurant in the area. Their pho and plates are excellent and inexpensive! I have been here multiple times and have yet to get a plate I didnt love. I particularly love their ginger eggplant and bahn mi! They are family owned as well, and the owner is very nice.
So this may be a bit early to really be sure but... My wife was in labor for the last 27 hours... Needless to say we are exhausted, starving and cranky... So after the baby arrived (Quinn Rose btw) it was time to eat, so I googled Pho places near me and this amazing little gem popped up. Placed the order over the phone and was helped by the sweetest, polite little voice over the phone... Got exactly what I wanted and then some. I rush over to pick up the order and was pleasantly surprised on who clean and well kept the place was and how inexpensive it was... Honestly I doubt that the to go order did justice to the actual experience of dinning in. I will definitely be back with my family of now 7 and the rest of my friends and family who are all equally as large... Must try, you wont be sorry.
Food was tasty, but the wait to get it was excessive. There was only 1 person to take care of the entire restaurant. I waited nearly 30 minutes for pho. Food came out sporadically, and not at the same time.
Kinda of a disappointment. Went there to try the Bahn Mi but they were out of bread. The crunchy spring rolls were good but the two soups sucked.
It’s the best pho I’ve ever had. The broth is amazing. I always order the filet pho. The crispy rolls with chicken are also tasty. The value is incredible and you will always see a Vietnamese clientele which is always a good sign.
Best pho in the local area-- their service is just okay (typically only 1, maaaaybe 2 servers for the whole restaurant, so service gets to be slow), but I enjoy the food so much I would still give it 5 stars. Their quality of meat is good and I also LOVE their summer rolls.
This place is literally the definition of meh. The food is nothing special, the service is spotty, and you might find a hair in your food like I did. I really cant recommend this place for anyone and its at the bottom of even my last-resort options. That said, lets get to it.Food:I came in for lunch the other day and was surprised to see how fairly priced their lunch specials were ($7-8). They come with soup and salad but no drink. I got the black pepper chicken lunch special plus an appetizer of chicken egg rolls and a Thai iced tea. The egg rolls were okay--crispy, warm, and the accompanying vinegar sauce is good. Unfortunately, its something you can easily pick up at the grocery store and theyre on the small side. As for the Thai iced tea, it was pretty disappointing as well. Its ~$3.50 for a small glass. It was one of the blandest Thai iced teas Ive ever (usually theyre too sweet at most places too...) and is seriously not worth the money. Lastly, for my entrée was okay tasting. I couldnt really taste the black pepper as the name would suggest and I was pretty upset to find a hair in the chicken--ending my meal and appetite.Service:The service was okay to pretty good for most of the meal. When I told the server about the hair and showed it to her, she kindly took the plate back to the kitchen. When she returned, she said they apologize but they didnt think it was a hair. Are you kidding me? Theres nothing else it could be. I even searched the rest of the food to see if there was anything else like it. Nada. The hilarious thing was that even the server said but I think it is. LOL. I rest my case. Overall, the server is great, but ownership/kitchen should get it together.Vibes:Nothing special.Overall, I dont see myself returning and I can only anticipate the cringe when someone suggests coming here. I hope management straightens up because I do think they have the potential to be great.
Food quality is superb. Spicy Lemongrass is my favorite, beef wrapped in grape leaves is my wifes, soft summer rools with peanut sauce are so yummy. If you like spicy, try their homemade BRUCE LEE sauce, itll kick your butt
This was our 2nd meal there in two days, which is an obvious testimony to the kitchen staff.And the waitress we had on both visits was super friendly and efficient. Great place for a delicious and quick meal.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.There was a large insect in our soup, which someone just happened to notice before taking a bite. Upon bringing it up to the waiter, she was defensive and explained “are you sure? I don’t think so”, after which she proceeded to quickly take the food away back to the kitchen. She never returned to talk with us the remainder of our meal. They quietly gave us 50% off our meal and completely ignored the incident. This was reported to the public health inspector who later told us that upon visiting and questioning the staff, they claimed “it was a bean” so they could not do anything about it. Last time I checked beans don’t have legs and wings. Recommend avoiding this place, it has been shut down before for sanitation reasons.
The food is parallel to none! We try to make it there as often as we can. Everything in the menu is worth trying. It is my favorite restaurant.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants Ive been to. Excellent pho. The stuffed grape leaves are fantastic and they even have durian shakes if youre really serious. And I am. If you like real Vietnamese, youll love this place. Its called A Dong! Get over there!
The owners here are the most disrespectful and unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered!! worked for a couple of weeks and quit. They do not let u keep ur tips u work hard for they expect you to know everything when they don’t even train you or tell you what to learn and the boss even THREATENED that she had actually been nice to me because she hadn’t made me CRY YET and she makes ALL the new girls cry!!!! They are lucky I never reported their disgusting behavior threats and uncleanliness.The whole family there attacks you and they are never happy with your work! They also are not clean in the kitchen I’m not even gunna start with that. So much disgusting attitude and unprofessional vibes go on in the back they literally scream at their employees then come out and act so nice with the customers. Don’t let them fool you a lot goes on behind that curtain! Insanely unacceptable!
Great little restaurant! Kinda too fancy for Street food menu but all and all the food and staff were awesome. And they accept Android pay so that was even better since I dont carry plastic credit cards. Defiantly will eat there again!
My brother and I came here for lunch and it was pretty good! I got the chicken pho (would recommend) and he got the seafood pho (not to my tastes but he enjoyed it). They also give you a plate with basil, lemon, chilis, etc that you can add to your pho to spice it up! The Thai tea was pretty decent and I still have got to try the Thai coffee :)

The service was excellent but the Pho combination was sub-par .... The soup base was clear and I had to add lots of sri racha as well as the hoisin sauce. Not only that there was barely any meat at all very little compare to all the Vietnamese restaurant that I had been to.. 😒... 4 out of 5
It was like eating in a dine in fast food restaurant. Very plain inside. The food was ok. Not sure what I was eating in the soup. The waitress was friendly, but gave the feeling of taking our order like ordering in a fast food establishment.
Entering this place for the first time my expectations were not high. I would have preferred to go to a Chinese buffet or in-n-out, but it was a friend’s birthday and thus I was forced to go to some random foreign restaurant when there is a perfectly good Subway next door. Thats what i get for being friends with a bunch of koreans i guess... Anyways, I ordered a tasty sounding chicken plate lunch special.Moments later Bianca brought me a bowl of the soup of the day. Some vegetable concoction they called lentil soup. Once the steam settled I tried a spoonful... my taste buds have never tasted such culinary mastery! It was like my mouth became a portal to another dimension, my taste buds met with a council of omniscient beings, and after learning the mysteries of the universe were transported back to my mouth. Such flavor, such smells, words cannot describe.A few minutes later my meal arrived. If the mere soup-of-the-day was so astounding, so breath-taking, just try to comprehend what the main course entailed. The only way i can rationalize it is by assuming these chickens were raise on the top of a mountain by a 10,000 year old sacred order of monks. And fed only the perfect blend of spices while given daily massages. Such flavors, such textures my mind can hardly comprehend. It brings me to tears. The memory seems almost as a dream, like it was too good to be true. I was in a daze, questioning reality, questioning everything I thought I knew about the very fabric of this world. My mind was opened, I have received enlightenment.Since that day I have become somewhat of a regular. As a struggling Grad student Adong has become my sanctuary. Upon entering there is no school, there are no problems. For that short period of time I am in perfect bliss, every time surprised by grandeur of plate presented before me.Great prices, variety, fast service, the best food known to mankind.
I found this place by accident and I’m so happy I did. The staff is friendly and my meal was delicious. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Vietnamese food. Crispy noodle chicken chow mein is the bomb! 😘👍🏻
The subway of pho eateries. My rating is only for the pho, I have not tried other dishes. Service was slow, but its not these girls fault, they need to hire more servers. Pho broth needed salt... and broth. Very thin, watery, no good marrow flavor, zero evidence of spices. After adding chili sauce and a little lime juice (my preferred additions), my soup tasted like chili sauce and lime juice. Fail. Aaaand the vegetables - chopped very small or sliced very thin. The effect was very mushy bits of Mushrooms, carrots, and cabbage. Cabbage?! Wheres my broccoli? Wheres my bok choy? Girls were so dang busy (again, not their faults) had to walk to the front to pay my check.Never again

2023-08-25 23:41:23Our first time trying this place near therapy appointment so glad we stopped in was so good. My daughter had the filet mignon pho we got the spring rolls, the lettuce wraps, and the sandwich chicken so delicious will definitely be back. Thank you and the staff was nice and friendly.

This is not the place BUT if youre willing to wait a little Definitely the food is amazing, the fresh spring rolls with shrimp AND grilled pork are to die for. I loved the concept of how they give you the water in a glass bottle that reminded me of the old milk bottles when i was a kid. The prices are middle rande not cheap but not too expensive i really loved the place for the food. And the server Bianca i believe was her name amazing...

2023-02-07 03:34:52Good Vietnamese restaurant but the flavor is not 100% there. Perhaps they are trying to accommodate Americans who can’t appreciate the flavor of traditional Vietnamese food. For the price I would expect more of a better quality of Vietnamese cuisine. I got the special pho but this was kind of boring, and not great tasting. The spring rolls too they were not what you expect from a Vietnamese joint.

(What do you expect) I ordered the green beans with chicken, (not enough chicken, a lot of green beans) The taste was typical chicken drenched in sauce. If I go back, Ill try something less saucy; since Im already saucy! Lol I must add, the women, Im assuming were the cook & waitress, were soooo sweet, respectful & polite! 5 stars for the service & hospitality!

2023-03-02 12:05:57Food wise and service was great. But the womens restroom though, theres like sewer smell that can ruin your appetite to eat. Try not to use their restroom before you eat or vice versa.Im not sure if the owner or employees noticed that smell.

2019-12-18 02:23:33I wanted to really like this place since it is right down the street from me. Everything I got was under 10 dollars per dish. But with that being said the portions where really tiny. Its not like quality over quantity type of deal. It was just small portions with not that great of flavor. The Pho was not flavorful, the kungpao tofu was not spicy, and the grilled lemon grass beef was really dry. But I guess I might be spoiled from eating Vietnamese from San Gabriel Valley.

2019-08-03 23:47:08Delicious well-prepared Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions are generous. They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes, although most seemed to be variations of tofu. Our Garlic Tofu was flavorful but the Curry Tofu was a bit bland for my taste. Overall very satisfied with this restaurant.

2023-10-22 19:56:48The service & quality of this place has gone downhill. This place use to be one of my favorite spots when I’m in the IE. Service was nonexistent & the food was subpar. I’m sad to say I won’t be a returning customer. Save your money & stomach from this place.
