Have you been to this store? Its located in the Calle Real Shopping Mall (5721 Calle Real), between KFC and Kyles Kitchen. This store is very well stocked and very clean. Lots of colors and tons of things not found in regular grocery stores. Beautiful tea sets. We came in to buy Thinly Sliced Rib-Eye for Shabu Shabu. Great prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have great hours, 10 am-7 pm. I will be going back to explore some more. Check them out!

Great quality of items and produce that they do carry (which is very limited) but the prices are yeesh! They definitely can get away with it because of the lack of Asian markets in all of Santa Barbara county. Very friendly staff.

This store is clean, sure, but EVERY single item was OVERPRICED. Straight ROBBERY IMO. I could get majority of the items here for a third to half the price. What really disappointed me was the price of the sushi grade salmon sashami, for 1.46 lbs, it was $48. HELL NO, I can buy fresh sushi grade salmon for that cut for $23-$25. On top of that, the Gochujang sauce, I can buy that $4-$5, $17 is price gauging! DISAPPOINTMENT OF A STORE!!

Friendly staff, but its a small store and limited items - coming from Orange County where I can walk into a Ralphs size Asian markets. We didnt find what we needed for our dinner that night, but we found other ingredients to use later

They have a bit of everything, every Tuesday they have a delivery of baked good from LA. They carry two brands of boba popsicles. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Parking spaces can be limited as there are other business next to it.

Really cool little Oriental market. There is a large variety of fresh and frozen food. Lots of ramen and sauces to make anything. The drink selection is excellent with a decent variety of beer and Sake. They also have kitchen gadgets and fresh fruit.

Great little market! A heavy focus on japanese products which is great. Decent sake collection, even a small collection of japanese products like lotions, face masks, etc. Went for the first time yesterday, just to pick up some drinks to go with our dinner from Nico ramen, so didnt get to do a deep dive but well be coming back for sure. Ive been going to the Indochina market over by Cajun kitchen in Goleta for a while, and recently the Oriental market on Hollister and nikka definitely had a greater range of Japanese items, so Im glad to be adding them to my rotation.

I get some great stuff at Nikka. I go almost every week, unless I buy too much. Check out the refrigerator on the left after you walk in. Some nice Japanese pastries.

One of the few places in town with Japanese grocery items, snacks, and bottled tea etc. Therefore, their pricing is very expensive! But the store is always well stocked, organized and the team is very kind.

Wow! This place is amazing. At first glance, it seems pretty small and you wonder how much stuff they could actually have there... and youd be shocked! The store is narrow and a bit crowded, but DEEP! and absolutely filled with any Japanese/Asian grocery item you may need! Even within an item category, e.g. chili paste or curry roux, you can find plenty of price and brand variety. Honestly, other than fresh meat and fish selection, this place has practically everything you need to make most Japanese dishes.Some notable products:- Good variety of both large and small bags of rice- Various cooking sauces and seasonings, not limited to Japanese cooking but also many Vietnamese/Thai/other Asian products (e.g. mirin, sake, ponzu, sesame oil, oyster sauce, chili sauces, sushi seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, tonkatsu sauce... the list goes on!)- Good selection of produce (e.g. shishito peppers, eggplant, radish sprouts, Tokyo onion, yams, lotus root, various mushrooms...)- Some frozen meats for dishes like shabu shabu- Pickles/tsukemono (e.g. fukujinzuke, shibasuke, rakkyo, takuan, kimchi)- Frozen dumplings and gyoze/wonton skins to make your own- Lots of miso to choose from!- Huge variety of Japanese snacks! Sometimes certain products cycle out (sadly :( ) but there is always something interesting to check out and they always carry classics like potato chips- Lots of Japanese drinks and refrigerated snacks like cakes in the fridges lining the store- Small selection of Japanese electronics like rice cookers and water heaters- Variety of kitchen tools and tablewareMan, this place is awesome! So much packed into such a small space, a true gem! The service is always great as well, very nice and polite. Plenty of parking too, which is always a plus!

Surprisingly well stocked place considering the amount of floor space they have to work within. Friendly staff. Not a cheap place, but it IS a specialty store. I always try to stop in whenever I pass through town.

A Japanese market. I dont know the price and quality ranking for it, because there is not that many Jap grocery around. However, the service is great. They allows you the pay by credit card with any amount and by any types.
