This small little sushi location offers a lot of delicious sushi rolls. We ordered about five sushi rolls, and we thought all of them tasted great! The sashimi quality was fine but most importantly, its all fresh and professionally prepared. The service was excellent as we were seated quickly, and had our hot teas topped off the entire time we ate. Our hostess was very kind and checked in with us often. The food also came out really quickly, but I think that was because we ate around 2:30pm when the restaurant started to clear out. Id recommend this sushi spot if youre around the area!

First time visiting this restaurant. We were in the mood for Bento boxes and did not want to drive to Sushi Gen in Pasadena.We ordered Bulgogi which is actually Korean and tempura. The Bulgogi was good as was the green salad that accompanied it. Unfortunately, some of the tempura was over fried and some pieces had black burn marks and tasted burned. One slice of over fried squash was extremely chewy as was an over cooked shrimp. The batter used was also not traditional tempura batter. Also, the rice was too dry and not moist.The waitresses were friendly and attentive and though the restaurant is small, it is clean and nicely decorated.

Such a yummy (hidden gem) 😋The sushi- Ahhhmazing. So fresh and delicious…The service- fantastic. Fast, courteous, and always with a smile.Having stumbled upon this place completely by chance, it is a very happy “accident” and I’m happy it happened!Just a quick heads up, you may have to wait a bit to get seated (we waited ~30 minutes) Trust me, it’s well worth the wait

Really great sushi for the value. The menu is pretty extensive and is pretty popular based on the number of customers coming in near closing and the constant stream of takeout orders. I really liked their bento options with 2 or 3 main entrees options.

The staff was awesome and attentive and the chefs were quick and funny. The food was amazing, especially for the price. Im used to sushi being way more from where Im from and thats caused it to me more of a treat than something I get consistently.I loved everything about this place and it happened to be a wonderful surprise that I found with a friend walking around his neighborhood. Ill be coming here every time I go to Burbank!I recommend the tuna tacos and sorted sashimi

Best food ever but customer service some of employees really bad attitude. I’ve been eating there for years but won’t happen anymore. I understand that dinner waiting time is very long, but you should let customers know the timeline so, they’ll decide to wait or not. Not let them waste their time. Today we’re been told Wait time 20min to 30 but after 30 min have to wait another hour and was told something was error so, you want to wait or not ?with the bad attitude not even apology talk to us like we come to eat for free. Honestly the tip should just give to the chef only.

Got here around 6:30pm and waited 30 mins which isnt bad. Service was amazing and they waitresses were super nice. We got a veggie and shrimp tempura and it was AMAZING!! THE SUSHI WAS AWESOME! I got a crunch roll, spider roll, and a calamari roll. The calamari was a bit tough but it still yummy. My husband got a Volcano roll which was his favorite. He also got a super crunch roll and a avocado roll. The portions were so big that we ended up taking 1 roll each home. The flavors of the rolls were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Food is okay. Not too expensive.Too much dressing on the salad. Overcooked tempura otherwise it was just middle of the line sushi place. Server wasn’t the friendliest and just had that “annoyed” look the entire time. Small and cozy spot. 3/5

I have to agree with Omars review below. Ill re-post his comment here, as he took the words out of my mind:I was in the area and thought I would try it based on good ratings. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied overall. They have a big menu but the portions and quality of the rolls were not satisfying...I came here after getting a great Thai massage next door. Figured it would be great sushi. The waitress although was super attentive and on the ball. But the sushi, the avocado was kinda old, and the taste overall, just eh...

Had to get it to go since its a 45 min wait, with open tables sitting there none the less.. Cant just move a covid barrier and put two tables together? No bento boxes, no beef no bowls other than poke... Ordered two poke bowls, two chicken udon soups, Alaskan roll and some other salmon roll (fuj roll). Poke salad was delicious, sad it wasnt a poke bowl... Change the name. Asked for veggies instead of rice, no dice!Waiter asked do you want crisp onions, seaweed etc on the udon, he asked as he noticed my kids? Told him put it on the side....nope. Chef tossed it all together. Read directions chef. Not the waiters fault, I watched him write directions down. Rolls looked awesome tasted horrible. Beautiful quality fish placed over something that didnt taste good. What was that? I spit it out. Actually SPIT it out in the sink. Stripped off the fish ate sashimi instead! Tiny minuscule amount of Wasabi. Heard great things about this place, didnt find them. Hopefully it was just a bad day, sadly I doubt I will go back. Place in Noho makes a better and bigger poke salad...
