Incredible sushi and above and beyond customer service. After a Grubhub driver delivered the wrong order, they had their personal delivery driver bring the correct order the next day. Plus an extra roll! They were really nice and accommodating and we will 100% order again. We have also been looking for a new sushi spot in LA and this is definitely the best we have had.Highly recommend!

Not loud, always a table ready. Prices are so great for West Hollywood. Fish quality is great, lots of menu variety. The happy hour menu is noon to close and its such an amazing deal for soju, beer, or sake, as well as hamachi.

I LOVE IT! I cant say enough about this sweet, respectable and friendly little gem that although lies in the shadows of Barneys, streetside, it certainly is a MUCH more welcoming experience than the craziness just kiddy corner from its front door. We were wholeheartedly accepted one night as the very last customers just before closing and were warmly welcomed and never rushed throughout our visit, even staying there well past closing time. The experience was very comfortable and everyone in staff was absolutely friendly, conversational and warm. They even gave us the time of day to have a decent conversation with us after our meal, without any inclination to rush us off. Is it too much to ask these days to not a have pressure-filled, non-attitudinal restaurant experience in Los Angeles that actually respects and values its patrons? We ordered items from both the Japanese sushi bar, as well as from the Chinese menu... everything was delectable, especially the crunchy California roll. The must-have, though, is the salmon sushi, that uses three different layers and types of salmon. Its so on-point and is well worth it. Its also quite filling and we were never, ever pressured to order more. If youre looking for something friendlier easygoing and away from the disgusting LA attitude, this is a must-try. Overall, this place is awesome. We will be back!

Sleeping employee in the booth next to us was weird. Server must have been new since she was not sure what some of items were on the menu. She was trying. We used to be regulars some time ago and was worth the drive... Now? Not so sure. It was ok. Serviceable.

Had an amazing lunch here! The prices are reasonable, service was great, and sushi was super great! They have a “all day happy hour” on certain rolls if you dine in that makes it very affordable. Definitely recommend the shishito peppers as an appetizer. It was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Cozy, neighborhood spot for sushi. Perfect for sushi night with friends or solo. Food is always delicious. The staff makes this place wonderful. I’ve been coming here for 5 or so years and they’re always so kind and provide the best service. Parking is solid too - valet staff will let you park quickly in their lot if you’re just picking up a takeout order.

Have been here many times and it is decent for the price, not amazing not terrible but no real issues. Tried to place an order to go today, their online orders stop at 10 though they are open until 10:30 and I missed the window as I was placing my order so I just went in to place the order instead. Hours on the door state open until 10:30, walked in at 10:13 and they refused service stating that last call is 10:15.It will take me a while to come back, honor your hours or change the time on the door

Quite reasonable Sushi with a reasonable price point in an inauspicious environment. The feel is of a down tempo cafe. For anyone with allergies, the menu is large and can be quite difficult to read. Getting an allergen requested removed from the dish was much more faff than was surely necessary.

I don’t usually like to take pictures of my food but in this case I should have. It would have been nice to show you how my favorite sushi dish on the menu has shrunk in size over time. I’ve been a customer for about 7-8 years and have never seen the owner smile. She looks very miserable and so do the waiters and waitresses. She even managed to roll her eyes at my kid that was a little in her way when she was walking by. The past two times I’ve been My sushi would come out but the fried rice for my kids would come at the end of our meal and the kids would sit and wait very long. Had to ask several times for fried rice. Asked for a drink refill and waiter never brought it. Gets annoying seeing same patterns. Gotta find a sushi place that appreciates business.

This place is phenomenal. Sit at the sushi bar. Order whats on special for today- and for anyone who adores Uni (their Uni is exceptional, well-prepared and treated with the utmost care). Ordered two rolls for delivery. We have dietary restrictions and made sure to order things we could eat based on the menu. When our order arrived, we discovered they had sauces on the rolls... but the menu didn’t list any sauces for the items we ordered. When we called to ask about the sauces, we found out one roll had a sauce on it that we couldn’t eat. We were also informed that they don’t list sauces on the online menu and that we would have to specify ‘no sauce’ on our order to ensure we don’t get any sauces. That seemed bizarre to me... I wouldn’t want to tell them ‘no sauces’ on my order since there are some sauces I WOULD want to eat and I can’t very well identify all possible sauces I can’t eat to just prevent those ones from being used while still getting those I can have... so overall, I was frustrated by that approach.With that said, they were very gracious about giving us a full refund for the order and handled it very promptly.

I feel like the quality is not the same anymore. My favorite roll is the Verizon roll and it doesn’t taste the same anymore. Each piece falls apart and isn’t rolled properly. The cut of fish placed on top of it isn’t the same quality as well.

This place has a good reputation generally, however we had a terrible experience for lunch today. We were sat at a hibachi table and then not served drinks for over 15 minutes- an employee on break finally noticed and took our drink order. It took another 30 minutes for our chef to appear and start. Terrible service. We ordered filet mignon hibachi, however they cooked boneless ribeye right in front of us. When confronted about it, they insisted it was filet. Having been in the meat business for a very long time (and you dont need that experience to tell the obvious difference), I can say it was obviously not tenderloin (filet), it was ribeye. Its nearly impossible to confuse the two. The taste was obviously ribeye as well, not saying it was bad however. Very disappointing and dishonest.

My friend and I had dinner here for the first time. The food was pretty good. We had two (2) dinners and some sushi. Yummy!!!The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because when I went to wash my hands, there was a puddle on the floor. It seems to collect as the day passes by. My friend visited the mens bathroom and he said that it was dirty and the toilet & handle had DIY tape all around it. Please get this fixed. This means a lot to customers. Especially in WeHo. People here love classy things or at least presentable! 🙂

Ive been to many sushi places, but i always keep coming back. Their best plate the Niko Express...Oh MY GAWD 😰... anyways i always sit on the bar area because the preps that make the sushi always hook you up. They are very friendly and humble. Theyre waiters are nice, but Ill admit can be sometimes neglectful. But theyre chefs make it up for them. To be honest its far more better than KABUKI Sushi.

Niko Niko is a great Americanized sushi joint located at the entrance of Boys Town. The quick service and decent food makes this a great place to eat before a night out. They permanently have a 50% off discount on certain rolls so it is very affordable. The sushi is covered in a lot of sauce so you cant really taste the fish.

A few years back this business used to make a Seafood Salad, which had what seemed to me a perfect dressing (not just balsamic with an overdose of vinegar), dark green leafy greens (no iceberg), and fresh seafood.I had the Sashimi Salad today, which replaced the former and it did not even come close! The iced tea is from the fountain. :(
