High quality yet really expensive. Be prepared to spend a lot, but the food is very good. I suppose I was a glutton because it was all too delicious. But I won’t be able to afford going back anytime soon.

Man this was probably some of the best sushi Ive had in a while, maybe I havent had sushi in a while but I can tell you the Nigiri was amazing and didnt have too much rice. Its a little pricey but then again what isnt these days. The day we went wasnt crowded got right in had a great meal and I will go back!

Im writing this review because I met Niko over 21 years ago at the Rickshaw restaurant in Woodland Hills. Then it closed and I stumbled into this cute little Sushi joint on the boulevard a year later to find out it was owned by my favorite Sushi chef ever! I had been eating sushi since the 70s before it was hugely popular so I think I can give a recommendation. Please support this small business because they take pride in giving you the freshest fish and most delicious sushi you could find anywhere. I dont live that close and I did move out of state for a few years but I try to visit when I can. The service is consistent and wonderful. So glad Niko that you made it through this past year, Ill be in soon!

One of the Best Sushi Restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. Head Chef Mr. Niko and Staff are always friendly, Very Good People. Always providing top quality fresh fish wether you order what’s on the menu or if you customize entree’s to your liking. The restaurant is petit which makes it even more appealing for Date Nights.

The quality of the food is good. However not worth for the price imho. I got 2 small pieces of uri nigiri and Niko roll for $35. Niko roll tasted good but every roll cut was so huge and thin it was hard to grab it with sticks. Interior is nice and servers were helpful

This place is a A+, never fails at providing great quality seafood, and flawless customer service, a bit pricey, but this place is the definition of getting what you pay for, restaurant is a bit small and doesn’t fit moreThan about 40 people, this makes the atmosphere that more special, highly recommended!

Was here for a birthday dinner for the first time and OMG such good quality fish! Will be back! Spent about $75 per person and totally worth it! They do not skimp out on the fish. Nice thick cuts! Not the most glamorous place but great food.

Such an amazing place! Everyone is very kind & the service is great! The sushi is top notch, been going for a few years now with not one bad experience. They make sure you are aware if they are short staffed but they truly do a great job of providing great service! Highly recommend.

The food is not bad but the service was disappointing. We came in and were asked about drinks right away, but we wanted to ask for something else and our server just turned around and left not giving us a chance to order everything we wanted. The menu is not too big, no pictures, I used yelp pictures to choose what I wanted. We waited for 15 minutes ready to order and they would just walk by not stopping or asking if we were ready. The food came and it was nothing special, California roll was dry. I was pretty surprised to find out that they charge for sauces.The most disappointing part was that we werent asked if we want refills, not even once, everyone at the table had empty cups and 3 waitress walking by didnt notice. At the beginning of our dinner it was busy, but towards the end it wasnt as bad anymore so I hope we would get little bit more attention.

This was the worst restaurant that I have ever been to in my life. The staff there needs to all be fired for what they did. After I paid my bill I always leave 10 percent tip and right in front of my table with my group she threw the tip back at me and said that’s it. That was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever witnessed in all my life of dining in. 0 stars and needs to all be fired.

This is just a small place in a strip mall, but it was some of the best sushi Ive had. Be sure to ask your server for recommendations re which fish to order. Based on what she said, we ordered the halibut sashimi and another one; both were exquisite. The tuna was also wonderful. Everything was good, but my advice would be to skip the rolls and stick with the sushi and sashimi. The fish here is too good to drown in a mish-mash of flavors. We tried a couple of rolls that another table had loved, but we were disappointed. Stick with the sushi and the sashimi, especially.Be aware that this place is very popular and gets very crowded, so be prepared to wait. Also, inside is deafeningly noisy. Outside was nicer for that reason.

Its tucked into a strip mall and you definitely need to make reservations with the restrictions in place right now.The service was good, the fish was fresh and tasty. I also always appreciate when a sushi place has more than the standard - salmon, tuna, albacore sushi options. They had great specials and it wasnt crazy overpriced!

I went to this place because the one I usually go to was busy and I read great reviews. That was not my experience. They sat us and it then seemed like they forgot about us. The sushi was not that great. As soon as I left, I had a weird upset stomach. I will not be coming back here

Food was delicious, prices were great and service was fast! The 2 waitresses kept shuffling back and forth so consistently that by the time I was paying my bill, I gave them BOTH a tip. Call ahead to make a reservation for their outdoor seating. We got there early and were lucky to have been seated right away.

If you think you have tasted the best sushi at some other place think again. Nikos by far has the most insane sushi anywhere and its not just the freshness but also the cuts of Fisher they get. Eevery time I eat there Im amazed at how they do it and how its possible to maintain that kind of consistency. Just be careful as after eating there all else will pale in comparison. No joke!

Stopped in for lunch. Was in there area so I checked them out on Yelp and they had just under 5 stars with over 150 reviews. Figured it had to be good and so it was. Had the blue fin tuna, salmon skin hand roll, unagi, mussels, and some other things. Really good stuff. Will post some pictures of the meal.

There is no comparison. If you truly enjoy REAL sushi - as in nice cuts of raw fish for nigiri sushi, sashimi, TRADITIONAL (not gimmick) rolls - then this is the best place around. Every person I take here is blown away and says they can never go back to their sushi spot.I believe that Niko (the owner), or whoever handles the buying, simply has a special talent for selecting the VERY BEST fish available. Once you have eaten here you will never enjoy the food at the trendy places in studio city, Hollywood, etc. You will realize they are all hype. I can go on. Just go.

I would give it a negative rating if they let me.Went there tonight to order dinner, asked for mix tempura with no Carrots or Onions all i got was green beans. I called to complain and they kept putting me on hold. Super disappointed with the service. I wont be eating here anymore. Ive going there for 10 plus years not as great anymore.
