Im really disappointed because I would like to get some non fat Organic yogurt with fruit flavors. But there are none. But they have organicFruit yogurt for children I think its low fat and whole milk. If I have to eat low fat I will but I would like to have organic but do prefer non fat. I like this store because they have more organic items than other stores. I would like to see more

Nob Hill in Gilroy is the best! David, the store manager, worked with us to buy over 430 garlic bread loaves for a fundraiser and was so helpful and kind! This store is clean, the staff is friendly, and they are willing to help! This is our store of choice!

Thanksgiving morning I open my turkey to start prepping it to cook and it was spoiled. So I headed to nob foods in Gilroy and they saved me the store was so clean so stalked they had everything hot fresh and ready The employees were very kind and helpful.. All of the different sale stuff that you have to go thru on the app is way way too much. You have created an extremely confusing system. You are charging high prices on your digital items hoping that people dont use the app to reduce prices... especially the elderly....I used to shop 2-3 times a week now maybe once a mth....too much aggravating work to use all the app stuff...every time you update your app it gets more confusing ....I realize your objective is to just make it so confusing difficult that shoppers will just not use it and pay your inflated prices....

If you need a cake this is the place to go. I bought a cake for my daughters birthday and it was delicious. Their bakery has fresly made cakes ready to go or you can order one for an upcoming event

They desperately need new freezers. Water always leaking on floor and I have slipped twice. They are suppose to be upper class store but something is not right. I have told a manager this. Employees are friendly but managers are grumpy. So whats going on

Great place to shop. The store always looks clean, and the staff are friendly. I didnt realize A UPS was inside.Found a gem place to take back my Amazon returns and went back to the guy in the UPS store . What can I say, amazing, so kind, helpful, and very friendly. We visited on a Sunday with over 10 returns .

I love the fresh selection of Nob Hill Foods. Their wine and produce selection is the best in the area. The deli has a great selection of meats and pasta salads. The meat section has choice cuts of meats. The entire store is clean. The staff is very friendly. It is a staple in Gilroy,CA.

I like raileys nob Hill but sometimes you got to pick items theyre overpriced you give them a lot cheaper at Safeway and Costco but I live in Sparks Nevada where I have nob Hill Great place to buy things if youre in a hurry but thats it so like a fancy 7-Eleven to me 😄👍😎

Nice clean store. Stopped there to buy Yamasa Teriyaki Sauce. They also stock Angelo Pietro Salad dressings. I use this product to sauté vegetables. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

They had that rotisserie chicken I had been thinking on. And they had them ranch style beans I had been thinking on. They had that Tia Lupita’s salsa verde I had been thinking on. That chicken looked pretty sad, but it tasted just fine, specially with that salsa verde from Tia Lupita’s. Them beans were good, but even better with that salsa verde from Tia Lupita’s.

The majority of the staff here is always super friendly and helpful, there are some that just seem to be unhappy all the time. The selection here is good. The organic vegetables always seem to look more fresh and organized than the non organic. There is a need for 1 or 2 more cart corrals in the parking lot.

Nob Hill always clean, friendly, lively.The fruits and vegetables have beautiful colors.The Japenese section has choice selections not found at Safeway. The Japanese food section has many of the items needed to make great sushi.Love the WellsFargo located inside - newly updated brand new ATM machines. Also, I utilize the Red Box and UPS shipping services. UPS shipping is under new ownership and is well organized.Wine selection is fantastic - however Trader Joes and Safeway have better pricing.🍥 Sushi and Sashimi lunch is a fun.Love it.

Store is always clean and orderly. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Their produce is a little limited but, so fresh and such good quality. I do appreciate the offerings of fresh herbs and spices they carry in the produce section. They also have a great selection of vegetarian items in the reach in case at the end of the produce section. I appreciate that the aisles are well spaced. You can easily get by other shoppers. Meat and seafood selection is great too. Seems smaller than the other store in town but, quality seems better, in my opinion. I find i go to Nob Hill more than any other grocer in town.

Very clean place. Not happy with the bakery department. They always state to order a day before to have your cake on time the next day. Then they say you cant order because they have too many orders. They always changing their policys😞😞😞 Its not the same when Donna was there. Nobhill needs to get their policy together with their employees!! So disappointed with their bakery department!!

As expected for a Nob Hill, clean and very organized. This particular Nob Hill is nice because theres not many other shoppers at times. Makes for a delightful and quiet shopping experience. My style! We used self checkout but an employee wished us a good night as we left which is always a plus and appreciated. I came on August 31st around 7 pm, if I remember correctly.

What an amazing experience when I needed it most. Easter was crazy with the family and friends in town and of course I forgot the most important necessities. When I entered Rafa greeted me and asked how the day was going. I told him and he stopped what he was doing and helped me fly through the store and even helped me checkout faster and prevent the disaster waiting for me at home. What a big store and super clean. I’m used to the one in Watsonville.

Great amazing store, during the quarantine this was the best store to go to. The standards and precautions taken there were exceptional, the other grocery stores in the area we weren’t to impressed with during these hard times. The ladies that work there we’re great and extremely helpful and Josie was more then exceptional with helping us from a distance of course, we had extra points we wanted to use and needed help she went above and beyond to help! She was extremely helpful and we only go here now.

Disappointed to see the Deli department has gotten rid of the better quality meats and cheeses. Seems like everything is going down hill. Dont think the store is as clean as it used to be. Some baggers are mouthy and unhelpful. There are some creepy employees who leer at women. I miss the friendly employees who always said hello and asked how youre doing. I dont want to go to Safeway but Im thinking more and more about changing my shopping habits.

Nob Hill is the hands down go to place for all of your Grocery needs, this Store is by far and away the best when it comes to Customer Service !! Nob Hill consistently satisfies and exceeds in all that pertains to the Grocery Industry! I highly recommend that if youre not already shopping here then you need to start because if you dont youre selling yourself short! If there ever is a problem with your shopping experience at Nob Hill the Management is well suited to remedying the issue so all parties involved are happy! I had an issue arise at Nob Hill Gilroy Store # 2 and Erica and Josie were super super apologetic and worked effortlessly and efficiently to quickly remedy the situation to My satisfaction! We did not get her name, but in the bakery at ~730 Monday (8.31) night she was super awesome. Super friendly and patient with us, as we just werent sure what was going to satisfy our sweet tooths. Nob Hill has been the grocery store of choice due to excellent customer service, cashier stands actually have stands open, along with the great selection of products. Store seemed to have changed in energy when new management took over. Did not feel like you are at your neighborhood market where regulars were greeted. This was prior to any pandemic related situations. However, after the last few months its really gone down hill with oprations and management of store. I feel like Im walking into some form of outlet. Low stock, unclean refrigeration areas that look ransacked as well as items not feeling cold. This is not an isolated incident. This last time dried old meat juice/ blood were on the shelving. Sad because I really enjoyed shopping here and not having to contend with Safeways lack of customer service or one cashier stand open operation.Still grateful to the Nob Hill cashiers and baggers that continue to greet under their masks. 🙂

I like coming here on Mondays for their $5 Monday specials. The produce is very fresh. It has a nice vibe in the store. They have lots of fancy things and you might not be able to find at other places. I also like their wine selection. I havent bought it yet but they do sell inexpensive one and the ones that have the higher rating like 94 rating. Its a mix of gourmet food and a Safeway or Von and a little bit of a Sprouts feel.

A clean and friendly store. Sells local produce and organic food too. Update is that there is new management and I have noticed that all the British candy has been taken out of the store. Thats why I came here in the first place! I dont feel the friendly, happy vibe here anymore. I miss that. I knew something had changed before I came back to read the reviews. I miss the old manager, he was good. I used to like shopping here a lot before, now I dont really care for it so much. Bring back the old manager please!!

I loved being able to get my banking done with a live person in the store (Wells Fargo) and completed my weekly grocery shopping! Very experienced check out clerk, friendly and wished me a nice day while looking at me eye to eye 😀Easy to park, and maneuver through the parking lot!!

I love everything about Nobhill. Very organized and friendly cashiers and staff. Even the post office is great. I cant forget the deli and bakery. If you are craving fried chicken this is the place. You can also call ahead to get it fresh. Thats what I do. Im really bad with names. The friendly man that makes the chicken makes it perfect. It doesnt taste greasy at all.

Before I start I have to say Gilroy Nob Hill employees are ‘world Class”. I’ve been a customer for 30 years, and I love the place.But, lately...Nob Hill locks the main entrance 3 hours before closing. One of the checkers ‘George’ was telling elderly that the door is closed, use the other door! 3 hours before closing!!!I asked him why, and he said, we get crazy people here! (Under new management. Customers are called ‘crazy people)The new management prefers elderly, kids, customers... walk 100’+ and carry their heavy bags, rather than keep the main entrance open!I go to Nob Hill 3-4 times a week, but lately I don’t know who the managers are. No pictures on the wall, and a lot of people sitting in the office!I’ve been a loyal customer for 30 years, this place is going backwards. No customer service, a lot of out of date products, unfriendly managers, old ‘packaged’ meat and vegetables, no fresh bread till after 11am ..... (you must ask for fresh bread), meat dept is under staffed and no training (I had wait 30 min for a cut because nobody knew how to cut a whole chicken), they put a sign “ out on lunch” at the service desk!!! This is during the busy hours!!!!What’s next????

This store has a terrific deli and bakery. Workers in this area ver helpful, talented and friendly. The meat section is almost non existent, no grass fed organic selections. Meat guys dont pay attention to customers. The produce is full of brands never heard of is small. Large selection of dairy, juices etc.

Ive been shopping there for 40 years. I do wish the old management was still there. I had trouble on the self check out the lady at the front desk was talking to another worker and ignored me. I asked for help they looked st me instructed I take out and put my card back in. Didnt work! I left the self checkout and waited in line to check out. Things like that has changed. A good basic grocery. They have a great variety of merchandise. Now they always have .99 cent spring water. They are also the only store around here that has Morning Rounds, a must toasted in the morning, tofurky (buy the kind with sun dried tomatoes and cut them in three long ways before you fry them because they are very dense) and organic semolina pasta.

This location advertises they have postal services at front desk, which they do not. For the past two months many times its not open, the hours are posted 9am-1pm the person is on lunch at 945am. They ask please come back. The staff doesnt know how to weigh a package, next time the machine was not pre-paid. Today there was a sick call. The lotto machine is unavailable. Why advertise you offer postal services if every other day theres an issue?The new manager isnt organized with a back up staff memeber, poor management. Few years back store manager Vito didnt run this store so unorganized.

Although my husband likes shopping at Safeway, I prefer Nobhill! Safeway seems to have lower prices but it is so cramped and dark. There usually is a long line when I go there. At Nobhill the space between checkout and the store displays is plentiful. With the great lighting and spaciousness they have, my shopping experience is more pleasant.

Went in with my service animal and was harassed by an employee and kept telling me to take it out, I explained shes a service animal and then she paused after feeling dumb and told me people have their food in here! and to keep her away from the cart. Less crowded than Safeway next door & staff are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in comparison. Always parking available even at the most busiest times. Queues generally short (apart from the Holidays). Bright & airy, has everything you need unless youre looking for a somewhat obscure exotic ingredient. Not come across anything past their BBF yet which seems a basic requirement but other store brands need to catch up there so...! My only negative at the moment is that their own brand Raleys product packaging is generally unrecyclable. Particularly their frozen fruit/veg type packaging. Which really bugs me in this day & age. Its really not difficult nor expensive to fix with biodegradables. Sort it out please.

This used to be the only store I shopped at for groceries for many years. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and Raleys hasnt figured out yet how to keep stock on the shelves. I hate to say it but Ive now resorted to shop at Safeway and they dont have a problem. I dont know if it is internal to this store since Vito was transfered or if its just Raleys corporate that has it all screwed up. Many of my neighbors have said they are no longer shopping at Nob Hill and have the same complaint. Very unfortunate for the town of Gilroy.

Been shopping at Nob Hill for years, since the old store in Morgan Hill. I found NobHill to be friendly and helpful. Except today, when I was in the meat department in Gilroy. The butcher with the beard and beanie was most unhelpful and unfriendly. How disappointing. We asked if there was any chicken thighs. His answer was cold, he said, no, just this one choice and blamed the manager for not ordering. We did find other thighs in another part of the case on our own. He ran off to the back in a haste. Luckily the lady checker was very friendly and saved our decision not to shop elsewhere.

Unsafe and falling down on the job. Placed an order online and customers no longer receive any confirmation or instructions by text. The instructions in the email were wrong—there is no number to send a text to when you pull up (the sign is gone). Had to call the main number and get transferred, yada yada. But the worst thing is, the store employee comes out without a mask. MASKS ARE STILL REQUIRED BY SANTA CLARA COUNTY AT BUSINESSES, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. I have two risk factors for a possibly fatal experience with COVID-19—but hey, whatever, right?Guess I wont be shopping here anymore.

This store used to have an awsome Bakery now it sucks. It went downhill in the course of about two years. Back about two years it was the best place to get baked goods in town now safeway has a far superior bakery. If the cashier is a man odds are he is a total ass or an oblivious stoner. They often forget to remove the sale tags on sale items when the sale ends. So check your recipt befor you walk out of the store. If you happen to notice while your being rand up the cashier will most likely scowl at you as if its your fault. Those are all the faults. The meat department has the best selection of stakes.

Out of towner, and the customers there are rude than the people that work there trying to help you. Dont ask for help. My cart with my baby in it a lady staring at me still hit my cart, go figure. I asked you okay you where staring right at me and still hit me. She ignored me and Frowned at me and just turned away lol like it was my phone and my childs. No, not one star, ZERO. Absolutely Zero in Customer Service.Several months ago I went to Gilroy Nob Hill to do some dry cleaning on an expensive Burberry coat. I didnt know they subcontract out, but they do, and unfortunately the coat was shrunken and damaged quite visibly.Nob Hill remained extremely unhelpful in trying to resolve this issue. The first thing that left a sour taste in my mouth is that the General Manager at this Nob Hill, Vito, changed the story a few times about who damaged the coat (maybe he didnt want to admit they subcontract). Also, you would think that to make the customer happy, they would pay for the damages since they did not make it obvious that they subcontract out their services. You would also think that if they couldnt pay, theyd at least file a claim on our behalf with their insurance company.But this did not happen, they made me have to deal with the insurance agency directly (why should we do it if we did not make the mistake, nor was it us who did the subcontracting?). But unfortunately it seems no one at Nob Hill or their insurance company is competent to help -- in the end I had to reach out to the subcontracter directly. To add insult to injury, the subcontractor was working without his own insurance, and was a sleazy company (different story). Subcontractor also would not offer to pay for the damages. So we have three different parties (Nob Hill, Covel, Nob Hills Insurance company, Subcontractor called Fashion Express) all not claiming responsibility. Also, isnt it something that Nob Hill subcontracts out to a cleaner with no insurance? After months of this, we gave up as no one wanted to be responsible for the damages, and it wasnt worth pursuing this in small claims court.To make matters worse, one day Nob Hill decided to end their dry cleaning services but NOT INFORM ME about this. They removed all their garments and now my coat is in limbo somewhere. If they simply called me and said please pick up your damaged coat I would at least be able to get it back and give it as a gift to someone else.No, the coat was given back to either the adjusters or the 3rd party subcontractor -- GM Vito nor any other worker at the store knows exactly. Thats a recurring thing at Gilroy Nob Hill, no one knows anything at the store, and everyone seems to be a manager of some sort.. When asked for a reason why I was not contacted, General Manager Vito said I dont know. That is his answer every time, or its not Nob Hills responsibility anymore.Well, if Vito doesnt know the answer, then hes an incompetent General Manager, and hes not doing his job, and probably should be demoted or fired.Very little attempt was made to find out why there was such a mess-up as to why I wasnt contacted. Again, Vito shifted the responsibility to the insurance department/adjusters. I have to waste my time to contact the adjusters myself, because of course.This whole episode was just a horror show and I can NOT recommend this piece of junk grocery store to anyone. They claim a smiley face and friendly service, but when push comes to shove, they did not deliver.HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. ZERO STARS..
