Food is delicious, and the service is amazing (staff cracking jokes and having fun with customers). The chicken wings are great to share and are fried perfect shell. The chicken and wagyu skewers are juicy and full of flavor make sure to order these.

Amazing food. Worth the small wait. All the bbq meats are great. The fried rice was surprising as well. My husband loved the chicken curry noodle (it was too much flavor for me but I could see the appeal).

For a weekday dinner service, the wait wasnt too bad. Maybe 10-15 minutes?Enjoyed my experience with Laotian food here, which was very similar to Thai cuisine as one of my favorites.Mee Ka Tee: Get this!!The curry noodle soup was excellent with just tons of bursting bright flavors. Just a perfect balance of creamy, spicy and savory. Throw in some acidity with the lime and this dish is to die forNam Khao: Skip? Or give them a second chanceThe crispy rice... was actually not that crispy which was very disappointing. The flavors were still there but maybe there was too much of the fermented pork and it made the rice soggy? Either way I hope it was just a weird batch and if I come here again I might give them a second chance at this.Food: 7/10Service: 7/10Atmosphere: 8/10Value: 6/10

I just love the food and the atmosphere here. The spicy pork rinds are so special, a must-try. They also have great grill sausage and sticky rice with ox tail soup. Papaya salad is very fresh and not overwhelming at all. The wait is pretty long since the space is small and they have great food options but overall this place is greattt!!

One of the best restaurants in orange county. We order mild papaya salad with salted crab, lemongrass chicken wings, and the pork sausage combo with jasmine rice. Its all really fresh and well seasoned. Gets busy on Friday and the weekend, but worth the wait. Parking is always easy. The prices are very fair for the portion size; definitely somewhere thats better in a group all sharing.

Traveled from San Diego just to try their Lao BBQ cuisine as it had such good reviews. I was very impressed with the portion sizes (the chicken skewers in particular are huge), the staff were friendly and helpful, all the food tasted great and they had a couple of unique dishes Ive not had at other Lao restaurants in southern California.

Although the service was a little slow, the food was so worth the wait! The wagyu beef skewers were so juicy with a great umami marinade, and the sticky rice was cooked to perfection. The shrimp salad was so flavorful with a generous portion of shrimp, and it was a nice addition to the heavier combo meal.The interior of the restaurant is a bit cramped with limited seating, so its best to arrive right when they open to secure a table since there is not an online waitlist. Overall though, it was a good experience, and I liked the presentation of the food on bamboo serving platters.

I found this little hidden gem on Yelp and am so glad I came to try the food! Tam brought me drinks and menus right away. My server Mami was very sweet and recommended the combo dish.I came to have the sausage and sticky rice combo and ended up getting the combo #4, which was excellent.Chicken thighs were bbqd just right. Super tender and crispy skin.The sausage had lots of flavor, not too spicy.The wagyu beef skewer was tender and had the tiniest bit of char, which was amazing.Stickey rice was the perfect compliment to each bite of this great food. The green spicey dipping sauce was great too! Just the right amount of a kick.I will definitely be back to try more! Thank you. Many thanks to the cooks too!!!

I have to say, Noks Kitchen totally blew me away! Walking in, I was met with this super inviting and cozy vibe. The service? Top-notch. The staff here really knows their stuff and guided me through that extensive menu like pros. And the food? It was a flavor explosion on every plate, and they sure know how to make their dishes look like works of art. I love to share my delicious lunch experience.We ordered Fried pork belly, Combo set with mixed meat (sticky rice, Ribeye, chicken satay, pork sausage), Papaya salad and Tom soup.The fried pork belly is really tasty beacuse of its crispiness together with garlic and ginger smell. The welk-marinated ribeye and chicken satay taste really yummy. Papaya salad and Tom soup are not that special but they do taste good too.I like their serving style of sticky rice and combo orders with Woven Bamboo Tray and basket.

Another Take out Edition, and noksDelivered a delicious of Laotian home cooked goodness. Great portion and flavor is on point. Chicken moist and tender, the steak skewers were good, papaya salad refreshing and not to tangy/sour, curry chicken broth was light yet rich, but the star of everything we ordered would be the in-house sausage. If it wasn’t for my heart condition i would eat them everyday…and it so happen to be that my wife will be buying the frozen ones to take home when we leave Cali. Notable mention would be their pandan desert (green worm looking thing) man that coconut cream sauce is to die for and the pandan strips are so soft and fresh tasting…better than any where I’ve tried in my Vietnamese community/places that makes this Che.

The food is presented very nicely in wooden, circle trays. There’s upside down umbrellas on the ceiling. And tvs that play POV videos of someone walking around a busy city, eating local foods and showing attractions. It’s super immersive without trying too hard to be. My partner and I ate so much and had the best time tasting, smelling and having a good time. We got here at 6 and beat the dinner rush so that was nice too. Recommending this place to all my friends!

The restaurant is in a very nondescript plaza across from Bolsa Grande high school. There are a few tables inside and outside the restaurant. The food and service are wonderful. Love the food presentation and the flavors are authentic Thai/Laotian. Get the real heat here if you enjoy spicy, flavorful dishes!

The Lao sausage are the best I’ve ever had. The flavor is so delicious and very aromatic. Every time I come here I have to buy a pack of sausages Togo to keep in my freezer then the cravings hit. Definitely try the mild if you can’t handle the spice. The staff is amazing and service is great but be prepared to wait.9/8 there were no medium spicy sausage so I got some jeo bong to spice it up. You order the sausage at the counter!

Everything here was delicious. It was a Nok out. The sauces that come with the food are so flavorful. The presentation takes you to another country. The coconut drink you see there is incredible. Just try it. I dont give away 5 stars easy but this is a must try.

Its definitely a gem to find a good Laotian restaurant in orange county. We ordered combo 4 and Tom Saap. The kids ordered something simple, the ribeye skewer and Jasmine rice. Were pleasantly filled by the end of our dinner. Second time around we need to try all the other menu and the desserts.

The Lao’s food is so delicious. There are many specialty dishes. The service staffs are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice however the restaurant has limited tables and seating. It is best to come on a weekdays because it would be a long wait time on weekends. First time having Laotian food in my life and Noks Kitchen definitely blew my mind. All the dishes we ordered were incredibly delicious and freshly made. We can tell the owners put a lot of efforts in creating these food. Highly recommend the Lao sausages, ribeye skewers, and the Salmon Larb Salad. The snacks they offer are also very tasty, highly recommend the mixed chili and pork rind chips (not as spicy as it looks so pick up an additional pack!).

You can order skewers a la carte but also as combos with multiple pieces and sticky rice included.

I didnt dine inside the restaurant and got take-out instead.The Khao Piek was a comforting bowl of goodness. The udon noodles were cooked just right, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The broth had a nice aroma and made every spoonful enjoyable.The Fried Pork Belly was a winner. It had a crispy exterior and was incredibly juicy on the inside. The flavors were on point, and the spicy green sauce paired well with it.The Papaya Salad was just ok. The Crispy Rice Salad was interesting, but it didnt quite hit the mark for me.The Pork Sausage was salty. It was disappointing because it was the main dish I had looked forward to.Noks Kitchen is worth checking out to try Laotian food, but Im not sure if Id dine from here again since it was not as satisfying as I had anticipated.

Great hole in the wall place you wouldnt expect. The meats and sauces are wonderful. Also check out the noodle soups available. Unfortunately there was a burglary incident recently so we couldnt order as many ribeye entrees as we wanted. So please support this local business. ❤️

Visited Noks Kitchen right when they reopened for dinner and there was a good steady flow of customers. Its really hard to find a restaurant that specifically only does Lao food in Orange County. Many others are mixed with Thai. Even though theyre similar, this place makes authentic Lao food and it was incredible! The oxtail soup, Lao sausage, and crispy rice salad were my personal favorites. One of OC Best Kept Secret Foodie spots. The food is awesome by any standard. And the service if very warm & friendly. For your first time, get the combo with sausage, rib eye and chicken. Portion wise there is enough protein, but a little bit light in terms of veggies and sticky rice if we didnt top off with a shared mango sticky rice. I love the small little mysterious green sauce and spicy chili sate sauce, though I probably dont want to find out what is in it if I cant handle the truth. We will visit again.

Very limited menu on the weekdays (most of the good stuff can only be had on the weekends). My girlfriend and I both had chicken skewers with sticky rice (combo) and it was ok, a bit dry but not terrible. Papaya salad was meh. The sticky mango rice was good and pretty unique, and had an interesting green coconut sauce poured over it, so that’s a plus.

Highly Recommanded1. The store owner is very friendly and makes you feel like you are eating at home.2. Every dish is deliciously seasoned.3. The sausages will make you unable to stop eating one bite after another. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s great to buy more to take home and enjoy while watching a football game or movie!4. The beef in the rib-eye salad is cooked to a moderate degree of tenderness.
