Came here for girls night! Super delicious, great service. Its just a small space for groups. There was a bunch of groups when we went on a Saturday night. Definitely worth checking out!! Ill bring my hubs next time 😁

Everything Ive ever had here has been amazing. The ramen bowls are pretty big, they have a lot of choices for sushi rolls, and the staff goes above and beyond. They are one of the few sushi places in the area that are open for dine in. Masks are not required.

Was craving ramen and did a quick search. What pleasant surprise. We ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and spicy kimchi ramen, and it was yummmmm. It was great to know they would substitute vegetable broth for vegetarian options. They also have sushi, bento boxes, Korean BBQ and bibimbap. Cant wait to come back and try more!

This is the best Asian restaurant in my neighborhood. Japanese and Korean food is delicious. There are always lots of customers and the staff are friendly. I definitely recommend this place to visit at least once.

First time I came here with my parents I ordered the beef bulgogi, highly recommended. Second time around I brought my youngest kids with me. They love Japanese food, mind you they are 10 and 5 years old. They said this is the best they have had since we moved from the Bay Area. My kids shared a 3 item bento box of sesame chicken, gyoza and california roll. Plus wakame (seaweed salad). I had the lobster roll and fast and the furious roll. Couldnt finish the lobster roll. Its a pretty generous portion. Very delicious! I will be back with my family.

First things first, if youre a person who loves ramen then this is the place to be to get your craving! All the food is pretty good and pricing is fair, but I prefer the ramen over everything else. Lastly, its busy during 12pm-1:30pm for lunch hour, however after 4:30 its pretty relaxing.

We go here periodically over the years and always enjoy our experience. Even our kids (6 and 8 now at the time of this review) specifically request this place which is better than always asking for fast food for once, lol. The food is consistently good, even when being adventurous and trying new things which you may assume isnt ordered as often, but its always fresh. The price is manageable considering they serve sushi which is usually known to break the bank. Im surprised it isnt more crowded (at least when we go) - That may change eventually with reviews like this but for now, the minimal crowd is just icing on and already great cake.

Ive been upset seeing sushi for $18 lately but I came here and was not disappointed! My $18 sushi roll was definitely worth it and was loaded! It was such a generous portion of everything: cream cheese, pineapple, lemon, crab, etc. I will definitely come back. Staff were friendly, polite, were kind enough to let us sit and chat (it was before 230pm closing so it was quiet). Really enjoyed the experience.

I ate at Noma on March 6, 2019. This was my first time visiting an authentic Japanese restaurant and eating freshly made ramen. Everything about this place was wonderful. Our server was a very courteous young woman who informed us that it was close to closing and wed have to decide quickly, but also didnt rush us through ordering or eating. The spicy beef ramen was fantastic, with a very generous portion size and out of this world flavor! Their take on jalapeño poppers was very creative and delicious, with very beautiful plating on a bed of radish sliced very thin to look like rice noodles. I will definitely return again to try more of their fantastic cuisine!(Edit) After almost 4 years, I made a return visit finally, and it was just as good now as it was then! Very courteous service, and we were remembered even though we hadnt been there in a long time! I tried the miso ramen this time, spicy, and it was perfect. My friend had the spicy beef ramen and loved it as well. I hope I am able to return again soon!

First, let me mention my disappointment...I had read other reviews and saw pictures of the menu that included lunch combos with different options i.e. Teriyaki chicken, gyoza, with a myriad of different things. This was not the case when my husband and I sat down for lunch yesterday. There were plenty of ramen options and several appetizers, but there were no combos or meals. Otherwise it was great! We both had ramen and it was delicious, though next time Ill ask for no mushrooms (they were very large and kinda rubbery). The portions were enormous! We ate half and took the rest home for another meal. The service was good and food came fast. We were the only customers at 12:45pm on a Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to going in the evening to try their dinner options which I saw was a lot more extensive.

I waited the entire quarantine to come here for the first time, and wow it was disappointing. Got the lobster roll and it tasted like cheap poorly cooked shrimp. The bento also was also devoid of flavor and the Roll my wife got looked like something youd get from a grocery store. The restaurant was very hot inside(maybe the AC was down). I would like to come back to try the ramen, but what we ate left very little to be desired.

I have never done a review of any eatery before, but this place is amazing. Went there with a coworker once, and had never had ramen from a restaurant before. It quickly became myself and my family’s favorite place. We usually order it to go, probably about once a week. The service is quick, friendly and have never had any issues. I have since tried different ramen places, and it’s just not the same (we don’t even try anymore). I highly recommend!!

Miso Ramen was pretty good (oddly sweet, but I enjoyed it), gyoza was solid. I got the deep fried kind. Take note that pan fried is an extra dollar!Staff was really on point, definitely credit due there! Note: the waiter said that their spicy items are not too spicy and even when asked to make it “extra spicy”, it provided a kick but not much (I’m not someone that tolerates spicy all that well).Ramen was average. Not the best but far better than eating Top Ramen or InstantNoodles at home. I would recommend some ramen spots in Downtown Sac if you are an avid Ramen fan.

First time here with the husband. We both had ramen and a sushi roll to share. Both were really good. We underestimated the size of the ramen and next time we know we dont need both! The reason for 4 stars is we were given hard boiled eggs instead of the traditional soft boiled eggs in the ramen. That was really weird; we had been looking forward to the soft boiled egg.

Absolutely love Nomas Ramen. Be prepared to eat a huge bowl, share, or take half or more home. If you are not looking to get spicy on any of the ramen just ask they will do it for you. You also have to try the yakisoba the flavor is amazing.

Skip the ramen. Tried the shoyu and was shocked at the lack of quality. The eggs were cold, the chashu dry, and the broth watered down and flavorless. Is it better than top ramen? Sure. Is it good authentic ramen? No. Travel a little farther towards Sac for better quality at a similar price.

Absolutely the worst ramen In town. I ordered The tonkotsu ramen I can describe the whole experience and disappointing to say The least. The ramen is flavorless and served luke warm. They serve the soup with a hard boiled egg, as opposed to a soft boiled egg. and none of the what I consider staple ingredients, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, nori (seaweed), or Naruto (the white fish cake with the pink spiral). The chausu was tastless, and the noodles were undercooked. And all their ramen is made with chicken broth.I dont consider myself any sort of expert on Japanese cooking, but Ive been around the block and Ive tried most of the different ramen places in the Sacramento area, and I would not recommend this place to someone I hate.I also got two rolls of sushi and that was also sub par. The rolls were mostly imitation crab and drowning in sauce.If you are looking for a good ramen head to umi sushi not ten minutes away.

Unimaginative and inauthentic fare, yet in a clean, affordable and comfortable setting. I lived in Japan a number of years and this food is not genuine Japanese cuisine. My yakisoba was a first very small portion of wannabe yakisoba. Sauce and noodle consistency was inaccurate. All in all good place to go if you are totally clueless about Japanese food.
