2023-11-12 01:52:54I had a great experience dining here. I went on a Friday at noon and there was only a couple other occupied tables. The menu was a little pricey but it was fancier food. The food tasted pretty good for the price. I really didnt order much so I cant speak for everything on the menu, but the burger and fries were pretty good, as well as the pasta.

2023-06-14 05:19:28Got the chicken salad with salami, branzino, and lomo saltado. The branzino was fried to perfection although it was a bit difficult to eat with the bones. Salad was amazing. The lomo saltado was a bit lacking for me as the steak was overcooked. Would skip out on that next time. Overall the food was good but my friend and I felt the service could have been better.

2023-07-12 14:38:40Food was phenomenal, the waitress was very kind! The service was slow with the drinks and food but I dont think it was the waittress fault and the food more than made up for it. Entree was the pineapple pork which was DIVINE. Would definitely return!

2023-11-07 21:55:26I came here for a group business lunch and I feel like Nomad is a straight down the middle okay restaurant with a very interesting menu. I’d be willing to come back and try another meal and different dishes here, but I’m not rushin’ to go back.Nomad has a lot of potential and based on the reviews, other experiences have been better.Service was just okay. Everything I ordered was delivered wrong. Ice in the drink when I asked no ice, my appetizer was placed out in the middle of the table as a share plate, and my salmon salad was drowning in dressing when I had specified dressing on the side.Cauliflower in tahini was okay, but would not order it again. Salmon salad was nice and fish was ordered, but would have been better without as much sharp vinegar taste.Someone ordered the burger and didn’t finish it.Greek salad was drowned in dressing.Arnold Palmer was served in a cracked glass that leaked.

2022-11-06 03:17:38Fantastic ambiance, menu and staff. The menu is wonderfully eclectic and the story behind it is amazing. We had the pleasure of sitting at Troy’s table who was absolutely lovely. We met the owner of the restaurant, Scott, who was super nice and welcoming. The food was ridiculously good, can’t wait to go back and try more!

2022-10-22 22:53:30I loved the atmosphere and cleanliness, the food was okay, nothing special. Very very pricey considering the served portions. Our server was not paying attention when we were ordering. We ordered a lamb wrap and when she repeated, she said: okay, so one chicken wrap. We asked for no onions and it was filled with onions! Drinks were okay.

2022-10-07 21:29:27Formally known as Jackson’s, still owned and operated by the same owner Nomad Eatery in El Segundo is a perfectly hidden little gem tucked away off Rosecrans and behind some office buildings. Plenty of free parking offered in the parking structure. We started our evening at the bar and ordered one of the house crafted cocktails called From the Heights of Machu Pichu, it was very tasty. The bar tender was very friendly and kept us entertained watching him mix drinks.Dinner was very good, the food was visually appealing and tasted even better than it looked. We started with some fresh steamed clams and our main course was lamb kabob and chimichurri steak frites. The chef/owner walked around all night and spoke to almost everyone about the meal. There was only one waitress and another person running food, she seemed very busy but her timing was always perfect.Nice place, I highly recommend it.

2022-02-14 07:19:51I really enjoyed the environment and service.Food however is not great or may be we didnt choose right options.Drinks: Watermelon spiritz was decent. Pineapple and ginger spiritz was good with ginger being on strong side.Food: Hummus was good but slightly on saltier side. Butternut squash was different and tasty. The biggest disappointments were main meals. My husband had vegan kofta. It pretty much tasted like soy chunks with weird texture and super dry. My plate - seafood soup was even more disappointing. I asked the server if the bowl was big enough and I was told it was massive. When the soup came, it was definitely not massive. I totally understand inflation and its impacts to food price and I normally dont mind paying $30 for seafood soup. But this soup was not worth that much. It had so much onions (gigantic chunks) and gigantic tomatoes (pictures attached). Never had shellfish soup with so much onions and tomatoes. That was ridiculous way to fill the plate when someone paid for shellfish soup, not onion soup. Broth was so salty, my tongue felt dry after eating.Hot chocolate dessert tasted like a warm brownie. Whip cream was very good and fresh.Umm... no we wont be going back.
