Once you get passed the very heavy front door, youd find a spacious dining room. The Bun Bo Hue and Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio were excellent and authentic tasting. Typical menu for an LA Vietnamese restaurant, Ill be back to try other dishes. The El Segundo IPA was also nice.

It was definitely not the worst, but far from the best Ive had in pho.The service was extremely slow.In a bind, I would go again, but probably not intentionally. Much to be desired in my book.Maybe if we had sat inside, service would have been faster, idk.

Service was slow with only 1 server work and came back second time with 2 servers. Took 30 mins to get the foods.The broth was a bit salty, not that special or authentic but appreciate for the fresh Pho noodle that rare to see in LA.Overpriced for an okay Pho bowl.

One of the best pho places ever! They charged higher that most Vietnamese places, but I guess it’s for the great vibes and decor. It’s a shame they are understaffed though. Hope management can resolve HR challenges to keep such a great place going!

Very good Vietnamese food. Spring rolls were delicious. Special thanks to the staff who helped me out with gluten-free info. I ordered what o thought was surely safe. Server came back to the table and said he checked and I should only order 1 of the dishes he rattled off.

Its okay. Im not sure how authentic this place is but its not my go-to Viet place if I had to choose. The pho was not very flavorful, more on the bland side of taste. They do do a great job with the meats though which saved the meal. The tripe was really good too (and I dont even like tripe). I would have to say their banh mi was better than the pho.

We ordered Bun Rieu and the Pho Dac Biet. The food was subpar. Customer service was great. Restaurant atmosphere is chill and clean.The Bun Rieu is not a how bun rieu should be made. I know its LA and you are trying to be healthy conscience but no thanks. Run Rieu should have white onions in it. Also other veggies were minimal.The Pho Dac Biet noodles was authentic. The broth was bland and had no flavor at all. I had to put a lot of hoison sauce to get any flavor out of it.This review is based on my taste buds and I hope you take my review as a reminder that the owners need to try their own food again.

The vegan Chay pho is simple but delicious! Seems like the ethos of Nong LA is to stick to the basics and just make sure theyre made to perfect satisfaction, and thats certainly the case with the Chay! The broth is light and flavorful; the noodles are a nice texture and dont seem overcooked like at some other places. Also loved the crunchy addition of the daikon!

My friend brought me here, its really super bright and welcoming. The service was fast polite-ish.. He was a bit of a downer lol dunno but he seemed sad. Anyways, the service was fast and the fresh rolls were amazing! They had nice big pieces of shrimp, very fresh and the peanut dipping sauce was great. I had the Pho Dac biet and it is as good as the Pho I had in Vietnam, flavorful and great spices hitting the right notes. I would come again.

Thursday evening and felt like a bowl of pho. They run the place like a busy good pho shop would and I been to many so I had my Hopes up! Ill give props that they actually used pho noodles and not hieu tieu noodles but soup flavor was not on point for me. I had to ask got fish sauce and season twice to be ok with the flavor. Ill come give this spot another try or maybe the other location is better. Got the tipsy buddha on tap and I think their tap is a little off, definitely not the right temp and a little on the flat side. Sat at the bar for table for one and my order was taken right away but sadly two other tables that came after me got their food first but I guest it happen all the time with a busy hip place?

Good quality but vegetarians- be very specific and careful. Ordered a vegetarian meal with eggrolls, egg rolls had pork. They listed the sauce had fish sauce and had a veg sub, so why wouldn’t they specify the egg rolls had meat? It was good but I don’t feel confident going back.

The rare steak pho is just clean and simple pho. Cannot go wrong, and always hits the spot. Service was great, and love the laid back ambiance. They are also card only, no cash. Parking is metered street parking.

Honestly its just OK. The service is really friendly but youre getting an average bowl of pho for $13. If anything else, its a decent option if you dont want to drive out to the better Vietnamese restaurants.FYI street parking only, which can be tricky on the weekend.

Clean, spacious location. Had a bit of a hard time finding the restaurant. If you find yourself in front of an antiques store, the restaurant is just a couple doors down towards Beverly. The noodles in the bun werent what were used to, much bigger than your standard vermicelli rice noodles. The pho noodles seemed a bit wider and the texture was a bit softer, maybe overdone. The sliced beef was surprisingly tender. The beef balls were good. Lots of sprouts, basil, peppers, and lime provided. The soup base was good with the sliced beef but watery with the beef balls. The egg rolls were thinner than were used to and had shrimp which is also not what were used to. I wouldnt recommend this place if someone asked me for a good Vietnamese restaurant, but if they were going anyways and asked my opinion I would let them know that the location and service are nice but the food is just a bit off the mark.

Really great Vietnamese cuisine.Reasonable prices and very hospitable staff.For years Ive been getting the Pho Ga (chicken soup) with lots of extra green onions.Yesterday I got the steak sandwich (8 inch) with a fried egg and a small side of white rice, and it was fantastic.Nong LaCafe on LA Brea is my familys current favorite Vietnamese restaurant in LA.

Went here for pho. The broth is clean and deep. The portions are reasonable. Price is reasonable as well. The inside interior is nice and the outside sitting looks nice as well.Service is ok. Nong LA has been my go to pho spot since I first discovered them a year ago. They have a cute dine in area and their takeout is conveniently packaged. I have mostly had their pho there because it’s some of the best broth I have had in LA, but I have also enjoyed some appetizers and everything’s always been delicious.

I ordered pick up, and while I was in the restaurant for only a few minutes I noticed the laid back ambience (which I found nice). I had the Bun Rieu with a side of fried egg rolls and white rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the broth and the noodles. The pork was satisfactory as were the egg rolls. I gave 4-stars but this place is worth a visit.

Ordered from Postmates yesterday. Bowl of Pho and their flan. A few hours after I ate, I came down with horrible stomach cramps and started feeling terrible. It’s now 24hrs later and I’m still dealing with the worst stomach problems you can imagine. Food poisoning is hard to pinpoint, but that’s all I ate yesterday before i got ill. Absolutely last time I order from here. Ive been a customer at this location for at least 2 years. Both ordering out, and in person. My order tonight, the packaging was open, box was ripped, grease stains outside of the box, and in light of the recent news of a delivery person dipping his private parts in food delivered by a delivery service, I was unwilling to take chances. Ive ordered from here so much that I know the quality they normally put into their packaging.This was NOT it. Something was definitely amiss.I called the location and was greeted with a manager who should probably be demoted.I admit, I was upset, but he offered no solutions except - sorry call Grubhub.No solution, no, ok we can work to fix the order, or anything. Just basically, thats not our fault sorry. You know when youre hungry and all you want to do is JUST F-KING EAT your food. You order two things, and you just want to eat your food in peace. Not have to throw away something youve ordered in fear it could have been tampered with.This restaurant has messed up my order online more times than I can count. Others have complained about this in the reviews. Its true.However... A simple call ALWAYS used to fix the situation, theyd simply take your name and credit you for the order when you ordered next or came in. I suppose they no longer do this.This inept manager then proceeded to talk to me like a child because he didnt like my tone on the phone, and when I CAME IN (drove all the way there to bring them the messed up order), he proceeded to act as if we didnt have a conversation about the order, had an attitude, and proceeded to talk down to me as if Im a child in front of a restaurant FULL OF CUSTOMERS.If this is how this company feels it wants its employees to act. Great! You can have it. I will not be ordering from here any longer. And yes, I will tell everyone about it. Hire better staff. Completely disappointed and upset by this situation.

The Pho was not bad, but it was quite weak in intensity of flavor. On the other hand... I dont know how they serve that dish of chicken with rice like Vietnamese style. 30 euros for those dishes seems excessively expensive to me.

It was a bit chilly and cold at night because of the daily temperature difference, so I went looking for a bowl of hot rice noodle soup. Modern Vietnamese restaurant. It was a bit salty, but the food was average. I liked that they gave me mint grass instead of coriander. 🌿

I happened to eat it while I was there, and the rice noodles were really fantastic. The soup was thicker and had more meat than at Korean pho chains, so even after eating all the noodles, there was still meat left. If youre craving pho, I highly recommend it!
