2024-07-01 02:13:31Yummy Vietnamese food in a bright cafe. They have a vegan (tofu & wild mushrooms), chicken, beef, and pork option for either Pho (soup), noodles (cold, without the soup), rice, or Ban Mi (sandwich) form. Plus/minus a fried egg.And the ability to leave off fish sauce and get a vegan broth, if desired. My husband and I both got sandwiches. The bread was fresh, warm, and perfectly toasted. It was great.

2024-06-17 17:11:44Went in on a Wednesday night for a quick dinner. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly and is fresh. Great vege / vegan options. The noodleSalads were the best! Cute little vibe to the inside a parking stage across the street for a quick walk over with secure parking. Great for a low key catch up dinner.

2024-05-28 02:44:36Nong Lá has a pleasant ambiance, but the overall experience was merely average. The food was decent—neither particularly memorable nor bad. However, the slow service was frustrating, with waitstaff neglecting to refill water and other beverages. If youre in the area and not in a hurry, its worth a try, but dont expect anything extraordinary.

2024-06-09 04:47:13We ordered for delivery. I ordered the filet mignon pho: broth is bland, there was barely any meat. I requested no onions or cilantro and it looked like they threw those in there and scraped it back out.. my spouse ordered the chicken rice plate with a friend egg and the order was missing an egg. The rice was so cooked that it was like a whole chunk. Did not taste authentic.

2024-04-09 23:48:59Nong La is finally in Culver City! I’ve been waiting a year for this location to open. We use to eat at the Sawtelle location weekly for years and years. This is the best Vietnamese food in Culver City, hands down. All around good choices across the menu. Good pho, rice dishes, noodle salads, banh mi sandwiches, appetizers (crispy egg rolls, spring rolls, etc). There’s a good amount of vegetarian options also. It’s all good. Pricey for Vietnamese food, yes, but standard for West LA. Highly recommend coming here!!

2024-03-28 16:31:03Great service and great food! Parking is a bit tough in the area (limited street parking due to an elementary school nearby that has permit only a lot of the hours) so I would just park in Culver steps (first hour is free I believe) to pickup. They have bun bo hue here which isn’t super common in LA :) everything is pretty good! Definitely check them out if you’re in the area!!

2024-04-14 22:17:17Everything here is fresh & delicious! I’ve been going to the one on Sawtelle for like 10 years, so it’s great to have them in CulverIn addition to bahn mi & pho; I love the grilled pork noodle salad with egg rolls!

2024-04-14 23:13:21We ordered the beef pho which was delicious and the beef was tender, but the Bun Bo Hue was really not authentic BBH. The broth was tomato based and not very rich. The meatball was good and tender but there was no blood cake and no pigs feet, both of which let’s be honest, are the stars of a good bowl of BBH. I know this is a Westside restaurant but I’m just passing along the feedback that anyone who knows what BBH is is going to want a more authentic version. People who don’t know will just order pho, so really, what do you have to lose by trying to make it more authentic? 😜
