A bit hidden at top of short road up a hill, but cool restaurant. Does have REAL wood-fire pizzas, plus an assortment of good hot sandwiches.Bar has a lot of Russian River beers (Pliny) available.

We got stuck in traffic on hwy 17 on the way to Santa Cruz for lunch, and got so hungry we decided to stop at Nonno’s. Great decision! Their pizza was delicious and their outdoor courtyard was perfect for the warm day. Great food, friendly service, small town feel, 10/10 would go back.

Yummy pizza! Picked up a friend from the airport and on the way back she wanted to stop here. Never knew this place existed off of highway 17 in Los Gatos Redwood Estates area.Cute little spot to come to. They have lots of food and drinks to choose from. Great atmosphere, games and fun things to do in the back patio area.Definitely check this place out next time you are in the area. It’s hidden - but worth finding.

Lived off the exit just north of Redwood Estates for about a decade so Nonnos was a favorite stop. a lot of people go for pizza which is *very* good, but i think the barbecue is AWESOME. they also have great burgers and sandwiches and dessert and. just. go. youll have a blast!

A nice neighborhood restaurant with good food and a very family friendly atmosphere. My kids loved the bocce courts (theres two of them) and there are two seating areas. Apparently you can reserve the bigger one for private events. The options for ordering food are a little confusing at first but once you figure it out its easy. Drinks are available for order in the back and in the main building. Order your food inside and theyll bring it out to you.

Great little mountain spot! Good beers on tap and in the bottle or can. Delicious wood fired pizza. If youre heading to Santa Cruz or on your way back, its a great place to stop for a beer/wine and lunch. Fantastic clam chowder as well.

So the pizza was decent however the calzones were ok. Just a bunch of veggies and very little cheese in it. Overpriced, website says 1 price and when we got there the prices were different. Overall experience was just ok. Dont think well be going back. 😒 paid over $100 for 2 calzones 1 small pizza and 1 large pizza. 🤔😒🙄

We were stuck in traffic on the way in from Santa Cruz. With stomachs growling, we found this place on Google maps. Its hidden in winding roads of the mountains and the very definition of a mom and pop shop. The outdoor courtyard was peaceful, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and most importantly, the handmade, wood fired pizza was delicious! Best happy accident!

So I went here with a group of 20 or so people. The location is a little strange but nice. The food was good. I would say average for the price. Ordering was ok . You order inside at the counter for food or soda if you want any alcohol that is ordered outside.We were having a birthday lunch for one of the people in the group. So we had some small gifts and we also brought some homemade desserts to share.They have a no outside food policy. Which is posted.We were told never to come back. Apparently we made them very mad.So I will never go back.They are 100% right. We did violate the policy posted.They just could have handled it a little bit differently.

Pizza was standard ~ Especially since we requested something simple not on the menu.Light sauce, crispy crust, pepperoni ~ mushroom & olives. Pizza came out less than 10 minutes with only requested toppings & on the soggy side.Ordered a double tray of cannolis & they were disgraceful to even be called such. Soggy & filling was awful. Not worth my time to go in for a refund, just know not to return when visiting Santa Clara County.Too bad cute place in a beautiful setting. Cashier was either a bit reserved or just slightly on the edge of being unfriendly.

(But they wont start until after 5p, and pizza starts cooking, one-at-a-time after that.)Wood fired stove is in the outdoor area.Outdoor bar has wine, and canned alcoholic beverages.All you can eat pizza/salad-bar, and alcoholic beverages must be purchased outside.Non-alcoholic beverages, to-go pizza, and all other menu items must be purchased indoors.Wish their daily menu was easily available. Wont do Facebook, & its not posted there anyway, despite what theyve said. Too bad they dont have a website where they can update the menu-of-the day. Sometimes they have BBQ ribs, pork, fish, hamburgers, etc.Pizza crust is thin & good! Its thoroughly cooked (not doughy).Pizza itself is quite yummy!Salad bar is fresh (except the onions are always old). Salad bar is (otherwise) GREAT. Suggestion: Cut fewer onions ahead, replenish only as necessary. Onions go yuck quickly after cutting. Obviously onions dont get used fast. I dont trust onion on their pizza either because of this. Very cute restaurant. Came here on a Saturday lunchtime, there was no wait. It look like a little grocery store when you first walk in, but it actually has a huge backyard with a lot of tables.The waitress here was super friendly with big smile. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza which taste fantastic. Highly recommend!

This pizza and BBQ place is great for everyone on the mountain. They have great food, they cook it quickly, it is reasonably priced and the employees are friendly. They have a nice selection of beer and have some nice local wines. The place is kind of cozy and it is nestled in a wonderful community with a little store across the street. I recommend Nonnos if you need some great food quickly when you are in the mountains.

I honestly feel bad for leaving this review because of how lovely the staff is but for 40$ for a medium garlic chicken pizza and bread sticks and how inedible it came out was a bit ridiculous. The chicken was dry, lacked taste and had the worst chewy but crunchy taste, i highly recommend you never order this. Other things on the menu are probably great but this was honestly horrible and I could only eat one slice before my appetite was completely gone.

My favorite. Always has been. I hope it always will. I know nothing this good lasts forever, but until then....paradise. I had no idea clams could taste like that. I crave, literally crave their pizza...distinctive, you know? The chef, Ralph and all the ladies, know good food. There are stories there, tales of family tradition. What a blast! Wood-fired pizza, bocce ball, and classic rock music! Hard to go wrong.Unique and flavorful pizzas make this a winner. Wide selection of sandwiches, as well.Being up in the hills it stays relatively cool. Lots of outdoor seating. Bugs can be a problem depending on time of day and temperature.

The food is great. My favorite sandwich is the baseball steak sandwich--a perfectly seasoned and grilled baseball-sized top sirloin steak on a roll (get the roasted garlic on the bun). Add some bacon and cheese and it is pure heaven.The pizza, whether take and bake or cooked in the wood pizza oven, is equally delicious.I also enjoy hanging out in the back, playing bocci, and trying the many wines and craft beers that are available.Overall, a great place to hang out.

Ralph may have a captive audience up there in the mountains, but that only means that he has a rapport with his customers and treats them well. Of course you can get hand made pizza here, but there are all kinds of things to eat and drink here. In addition to traditional Italian pastas, he serves up great sandwiches and in the summertime does barbecue -- baby back ribs, chicken, tri tip, etc. Prices are reasonable. Great neighborhood pizzeria, this are doesnt have a whole lot of community spaces, so nonnos serves as a great place to hang out with friends for parties in their patio area (before covid happened) and has some unique flavors. My favorite pizza here is the la bisteca, which is a steak and onion flavor. They also offer many desserts and ice cream from a local creamery.

Tuesday and Saturday specials are worth a visit, dog friendly (if your dog is), we might be biased since we live nearby but do enjoy the place and Ralph is a special guy. If there was a negative rating I would give it, yesterday evening I went there with one of my friends to get a single propane tank and I asked them for one and they were very rude about it I don’t recommend going there for propane I suggest you go somewhere else to get propane but the food is good here and I do recommend to eat here but if their rude to you then don’t go there anymore

We were not told that you couldnt eat in the courtyard. Many restaurants are open for outdoor dining. I have been coming here a lot over the years and I rave about the food. I also bring many of my friends here. So, I purchased a beer while waiting for the food, tipping everyone 20%. The guy tending bar in the back was also cooking the pizzas, without a mask. I said nothing about that. So I went to get our food from the front and took it to the picnic tables in the back to eat. I then bbn ordered a second beer. The bar tender then told me all food was to go only because things were still getting worse. He was still not wearing a mask. I said ok and went back to the table to pack up. I took the very last bite of sandwich and then packed everything up. Then, a bald guy who I am assuming is the owner, walked up and told us to pack up and get out. I then pointed to my beer which was full, and he told me he would pour it out. NO YOU WILL NOT, and we had words. I told him that we were just informed of this, bit he came out super aggressive at me and my wife. I WILL NEVER be going back, and I will tell all my friends about how disrespectful the owner was.

This place is truly unique. The nearly entirely house-made selection of foods is always good at minimum and often great. The take-and-bake pizza is outstanding, particularly the Luau (hawaiian). The wine selection is unbelievable for its size. If you want sincerely friendly and knowledgeable guidance on a wine to select, watch the owners eyes light up a little when you ask for his opinion. There are often special dinner events a couple nights a week and if the weather is nice a number of tables sit outside under the trees alongside a traditional earthen bocci ball court. The address here indicates Los Gatos, but actually the business is in the downtown area of Redwood Estates, CA. Careful not to blink ... a small store, Nonnos deli, and diminuative post office are the only three establishments there.

I enjoy stopping by Nonnos on Highway 17 drive home and getting a pizza for the evening.Just finished a custom made pizza with my wife making the choices, and it is one of the best I have had - Canadian Bacon, Italian sausage, spinach (copious amounts), and creamy garlic sauce, and feta cheese.We also enjoy their garlic, chicken, cheese combo.
