I had a really great meal tonight. I had the egg rolls, with fish sauce, and then I put a little bit of chili paste in there to spice it up. Very good. Then I had to Vietnamese meatball suit to go with that, it was incredible definitely going to be back again several times.

I thoroughly enjoyed Noodle City. I reconnected with a good friend, and enjoyed my grilled pork, grilled shrimp, and vegetables over bun (vermicelli). Service was quick and efficient.I also really appreciated upon my second visit how the prices stayed reasonable - $13 for grilled pork with vermicelli and veggies is a great deal. Check this place out!

My family and I have been coming here for a little over a year now, and we always get amazing food and service, and all great prices. It is family owned and we always see the family there (grandpa, mom, children) so we’ve really loved going there whenever possible!!! Their Pho and mango smoothies ARE SOO GOOODDDD

Without further ado let’s do this review.Noodle City is a small Vietnamese restaurant, located in a small plaza at Monterey Park. This restaurant is a bit run down just like most Vietnamese Pho restaurant in SGV area. I came here late afternoon to grab an early dinner. It was my first time here. Their indoor vibe was relaxing and spacious; it was almost empty when I dined-in. Interior design was modestly rundown with little to no decor on the wall. Noodle City has an extensive selection of food and drinks. After perusing their menu I ordered a Chà Giò (veggie roll-appetizer), Cóm Gà Xào (stir fried chicken rice) and lemonade.Food: Appetizers were warm, crispy and tasty. As well as the broken rice stir fried chicken.Drink: Lemonade was refreshing.Service: It’s mildly fast and on point.Prices: Affordable that won’t break your LV leather wallet.Staff: They’re patient, respectful and followed health protocol.Parking: Very limited given they’re in a small plaza.Overall, I had a good experience and food. I recommend this Vietnamese restaurant.

Great little family owned Vietnamese restaurant!We love coming here for their pho, rice dishes and bun (vermicelli and lettuce/veggies). The ingredients are always clean and fresh. There’s also daily specials that are very reasonably price for every weekday.

Nice portion for the price. Would come back in the future if I want pho again. Glad I chose this place instead of a different place. They also accept credit card payments. I picked the p1 combo meal to have a little of each red meat. Broth tasted good.

I love this place!! Their food is always fresh and delicious!! Their noodles are always soft,which I have experience before,not the case in other restaurants that I have visited before. Now I only come here plus they are friendly and give very good service. Recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy good quality food.

Stopped by on a Saturday mid-afternoon, and it wasn’t busy at all. The chicken pho was really good! I loved the depth of the broth and that they use a slightly wider noodle in the chicken pho compared to their beef pho. They also have the cornish hen dish here that was fried well and crispy. 😋👌🏼

Visiting from out of town but I used to come here all the time when I lived in monterey park. Even after 2 years the quality is still the same: The food came out so fast (literally a few minutes) and was delicious. The pho was amazing and so was the broken rice plate. We also got thai teas and iced coffee. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, lots of locals hang out. A reliable eatery and they have parking so yaaaay no street parking.

What do you do when you are in the City of Monterey Park and you want some Noodles? Noodle City! Hey hey no booing! I tried.After hitting major Banh Mi Cali fatigue, it was time to give up $5 Pho and Buy-one-get-one-Free drinks and trade it in for a dollar more quality Pho and one drink for the price of one drink. Give me a break. I like Banh Mi Cali and cheap prices. Monterey Park, you are spoiled so dont give me crap. If I lived there, I would eat pho and Dim Sum everyday.. would I live there maybe not.. thats another review. Even though, Irvine is becoming Asiantown. Even the best pho places here are pretty weak. Before you discredit my Pho judging abilities, Im not Vietnamese, but there are a lot of horrible Pho places in Westminster also.. Just saying...Noodle City Vietnamese Restaurant! I have this theory about pho places. If the name has the world Pho in it. It will suck! And if it is a Vietnamese Restaurant that serves Pho its will be good. Pho 54, Pho 48, Pho King Way. I couldnt make that up its a real place. I thought the same thing No Pho-King Way. Remember to always look for places titled Vietnamese Food or best case scenario if your Vietnamese friends mom invites you over for dinner bring her flowers and give her hug, because you are eating better than 95% of Pho Restaurants.Noodle City is excellent. The Broth was very thick and meaty just the way I like it. Thats what she said. There was a decent amount of noodles and a lot of meat. Who needs a lot of noodles anyways? We are trying to stay Asian Skinny, right? The ice drinks were also good. The overall pricing was reasonable. Next time Im in the area, I will swing by Noodle City again (Pho Sho) and avoid the crazy parking and lines at Banh Mi Cali.Highly Recommended. Dont take my word for it.**Sidenote** I read a few reviews about bad service and I was laughing. This is Vietnamese food, right? Ha ha. Maybe its just me, but I choose food and never expect service. Speak up people!Having good service is not expected at a Vietnamese restaurants. If the services is good I would be worried, maybe they are hiding something :)

Compared to Orange County quality, this is not good Vietnamese food. Pho broth is way too fatty and sweet, and both bun and com dishes had meat that was much, much too fatty. Nuouc mam (fish sauce) was not great either, lacking sweetness and lime.

Somewhat hidden in an inconspicuous plaza and located away from the more familiar cluster of restaurants. Its a good stop for a typical Vietnamese menu which covers Pho and Com Tom rice plates, the latter which Ive had and enjoyed.

Solid.Like what the surfer dudes say. Solid bro. I guess that could mean a lot of things. In this case, meaning a solid bowl of noodle soup if you dont have time to wait in line somewhere else. Food comes out super fast and super hot.Pho tai nam is a-okay. The broth itself is a little on the salty side for me but nothing a little lime didnt fix. The nam meat is fairy fatty and there were only two slices of tai. Boo.Leggo my eggroll.Eggrolls are a good way to judge compare restaurants across the board. If a spot makes a good eggroll, they probably make everything else good also. Its an okay eggroll here. Less pork than I would have wanted, I almost thought it was a vegetarian eggroll at first. It was freshly fried though which was great.

This is one of the better pho restaurants in Monterey Park. Its local and the soup broth is good. Always taste the broth before you add anything to it. Its my go to hangover cure.

Very good Vietnamese restaurant in Monterey Park!Noodle City offers Vietnamese dishes such as pho and rice dishes. We tried two rice dishes with beef, shrimp and vegetables.The meat was seared until tender and the vegetables were well steamed.The portion was very generous and the price was very reasonable.The service was friendly and quick.
