2023-07-17 18:57:29We ordered the signature laksa noodles and the duck dry noodles. Both dishes were very flavorful but unfortunately after eating, we felt bloated and my SO had the runs so something in the food is off. Also to note, when we entered the restaurant, it smelled slightly like sewage. Really wanted to like this place but probably wont be returning.

2023-07-14 20:36:51The best spot for asian noodles in the area. I think this was the best laksa I’ve had in SF, and the dried noodles really hit the spot; it’s that type of addicting noodle that you can’t atop eating once you start (really takes you back to hawker stands in Asia).

2023-06-06 00:03:17The House Special Curry Laksa Soup was so delicious! The portion size was perfect. I dont eat meat, so I was able to substitute for vegetables. The vegetables were fresh, and the flavor of the broth was so good 🤌🏾 The server was very friendly, personable, and attentive. I will definitely be back when in the area. Highly recommend!

2021-01-07 06:37:34Update: Came during shelter in place and still great! We ordered the duck noodles and chicken fat noodle soup. Both were just as good as we remembered. We also tried their fries. I wasn’t expecting much, but they actually gave a big portion! Highly recommend the duck noodles.I came here on a Tuesday night with a friend. Parking can be a little tricky as its in a pretty residential area. Its pretty small, but super clean. We were seated immediately, with a few people eating there also.We ordered the jingchuan dumplings, roast duck dried egg noodles, and the IPOH shredded chicken fat noodle soup. The dumplings were a great starter. They werent spicy at all. The noodles came shortly after. The roast duck noodles came with a soup. The noodles were great. The duck wasnt super fatty, but was still really good. My friend really enjoyed her bowl of noodles as well. The bowls are pretty big, but we ended up finishing everything.I would definitely recommend this place! The noodles are really good and the ingredients seem fresh. Parking can be tricky, but definitely a convenient place for some noodle soup.

2021-09-07 17:42:44This place confuses me a little bit because their presentation is always 10 stars- their dishes, their broths, their outward textures always look and seem solidly amazing. Always. I dont think Ive seen a questionable or bad photo from this place out there! Thats pretty incredible. However, the taste of their noodles and soups just seem lacking or somehow just dont quite hit-the-mark. My laksa house special curry dish for example, was made with a thin rice vermicelli noodle that doesnt absorb sauce/flavor at all, so my experience of this dish involved alternating drinking broth, eating toppings, and consuming dry noodles, none of which can really be considered that appealing when separate from each other. The flavor of the broth was intriguing, with lemongrass and other rich flavors which were interesting but not something Id personally crave.I enjoyed my husbands roast duck with dried egg noodles in XO sauce more, but we both agreed that the specific sauce mix was a bit salty and the flavor of this dish was generally off from our personal preferences. All that said, the price and portion sizes were good, the dishes looked good, and I cant dismiss the possibility that these possibly taste perfect to someone perhaps of a Laotian or other background with a different flavor profile than we have... then again, it could just all come down to one guy experimenting with flavors in the back kitchen, who doesnt have it quite down yet... In any case, their flavors just werent for us, unfortunately, and we wont be coming back.

2022-04-11 19:37:30The menu consists of noodle dishes from China and the Chinese diaspora across Southeast Asia. While appealing, the broad geography of cuisines covered may explain why the taste doesn’t seem to be 100%.The vegetarian spring rolls were unique in that they were filled with bean sprouts and wood ear mushrooms and wrapped in tofu skins. But they came out greasy and the accompanying duck sauce a disappointment. Why duck sauce? The HK shrimp dumpling noodle soup got everything right, but the broth itself was not the most appetizing and was hard to finish.

2020-09-27 22:02:52Im so glad to have another option in Daly City for authentic egg noodles. I ordered roast duck egg noodle with xo sauce. The noodles were al dente. Would definitely be back.

2022-10-30 06:52:36Super yummy laksa. A bit tucked away and not very busy at all. But the laksa is one of the best you can find in the Bay Area. 10/10 would recommend.
