This is your go-to local spot for takeout sushi. They don’t have a dining area. Everything tasted fresh and the family-run business offers great service. I made a mistake with the pick up time for my order so I ended up showing up 30 min early. They were able to prioritize my order and even gave my son some edamame while we were waiting. I really appreciated the warm gesture and them going above and beyond. Food did not disappoint either. I recommend this place for anyone near El Cerrito for takeout sushi.

Our go to local sushi spot! Fresh fish, fast service, and fair prices. Always happy and friendly when we pickup. Sometimes their online order system doesn’t work (but maybe an issue with square?). A simple call solves that. Like that they have loyalty system.

Wonderful. Delicious, fresh fish. Very reasonably priced. Owners are super friendly and appreciative. Mostly set up for takeout. If you want sushi in a traditional Japanese eat-in setting, go elsewhere. But if you want top quality food, prepared by super nice, hard working people, this is the place.

I used to frequent Yo Sushi in Berkeley before finding out about Nori Roll. And I’m so glad I discovered Nori Roll. Both places are just as far from my home but Nori Roll has become my new spot. Sushi has been consistently fresh and tasty, prices are very fair (actually a lot more affordable than other spots), but what I really love about this place is how friendly and warm and appreciative the owners are. Even though I was a regular at Yo Sushi, I always felt like they were more annoyed with my business than thankful.

Had a greaaaaaaaaat Meal here.The food was fast, fresh and not to pricy. Enjoyed everything but was most impressed with the Jalapeno bombs. Its like a popper on steroids with a sushi twist. The fantasy roll was beyond my expectations as well.My only problem is that the indoor seating in this hole in the wall is a little tight. But it looks like the bulk of the business is online and Togo orders.

Ridiculous value for the quality and quantity of food.Fat cuts of fish, the hamachi and salmon collars are big and a crazy deal, the tempura is always crispy. I dont think weve ever had a complaint except that we sometimes over order because its so much more food than anywhere else.Staff very pleasant and friendly. Once in awhile they will sell out early, so be aware that if you order after 7pm, they might cancel.

I love Nori Roll! Working from home this last year, Ive tried to eat out at least once a week for lunch, supporting my favorite local spots. I love the Bento Box here and they allow me to customize it a bit with Double Salad, No Rice. Ive tried many different rolls here and they are always fresh & delicious. Every time I pick my order up, I am greeted with a smile, its always a very pleasant experience.

Just discovered this new local gem a couple of weeks ago and have been constantly thinking about when I could go back. It is a convenient take out spot only, perfect for those quick fix dinners or easy meal and a movie in with family/friends. Needless to say, that first time really hit the spot. Competitive prices & high quality fish. I had the spicy scallop handroll, salmon lover roll, tekka and sake maki, spicy tuna roll, and crunchy roll. I LOVED the raw spicy scallop. Cant wait to go back! Wondering when and if this place reaches hole in the wall status. :)

Tried this place for the first time and was not impressed but also wasnt disappointed - right down the middle really. The fish was fresh, which is always a good thing. But the menu was a little bit small compared to some of the other sushi places I frequent in the area. The staff were friendly which was nice. There are only 3 tables, so plan accordingly. It probably makes the most sense to order take out.

Sushi in the time of Covid is for sure an adventure! Finding good sushi, with fresh fish and reasonable prices can be a challenge. We tried this place for the first time 2 weeks ago. We were back 6 days later. Food was fresh. My chicken karaage was still hot and crispy when I got home...and I live 25 minutes away! Score! The Lion King was amazing. The bento boxes are kinda small but it is perfect if you are ordering sushi or apps on the side. We tried the jalapeno bombs and the baked mussels as well. Both were very tasty. Good food, reasonably priced, nice friendly folks...all in all, it was a thumbs up for us. We will be back again for sure!

I am very happy with my order from Nori Roll tonight! I figured some sushi would be great for a hot October evening, so I decided to give Nori Roll a try. I had a chirashi, Alaska roll, Rock&Roll roll, and a bento box. The flavors are right on, the fish is fresh, craftsmanship of the rolls is very good. All of us enjoyed the dinner tremendously.Also, all restaurants work hard. But Nori Roll being a small family-run place, really hustles to make sure all customers are given proper attention and respect.Give them a try if you havent. You wont be disappointed.

This little sushi restaurant is just wonderful I use Uber most of the time to deliver it but I have to tell you I tried to add something onto the order today and Uber would not allow it the man at the restaurant that I spoke to was so accommodating and pleasant I will never get sushi anywhere else again when I’m here in El Cerrito! The Maguro is Luscious and red and beautiful and the tempura is Abbondanza!

Avoid the rolls that include crab salad. The crab salad is really gross and tastes like it was scooped out of a cheap tub from Safeway near its expiration date. The other things we got were excellent - seaweed salad, unagi rolls, gyoza, all great. Just that crab salad, so, so, awful it actually made us feel a little ill.

Nori Roll,Tonight I made an Uber Eats order for my hungry wife whos nursing our 6 month old baby at 5:44. The estimated delivery was 7:07. At 8:30, the order still hadnt arrived and there was no update of any sort. They didnt give clarity whether the order was forgotten on the restaurants end, your end, but I hope that you will switch services from Uber Eats for the following reason:After calling customer service to check the order, we were told the order was cancelled and despite my wife and I hungrily waiting for three hours, customer services advice was to reorder through Uber Eats and sorry for the inconvenience. After speaking with the supervisor, we were told that we could receive a refund of the delivery fee on our reorder, but to receive that refund of a few dollar delivery fee, we would have to call customer service back. The lack of value of the customer experience was frankly shocking and the inability to offer more than a few dollars for the low quality experience, waste of our time, and barrier to even accessing a few dollar delivery fee refund was insulting.

Im a uber eats driver and I had two orders to pick up from them.One order was really close,the other one was deep into oakland Ca.I canceled one order and kept the other.They then proceeded to write a review about my service being unprofessional;as far as Uber is concerned you can cancel or accept any order you want to.So I will not be receiving any more orders for them for delivery.
