2023-10-28 11:47:48As I visited my daughter and grandsons, we decided to have a family dinner there. I havent been there since I moved in 2002. It was more delicious than I remembered. It was a packed house, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The food came to us fast, but nice and freshly made. The waitresses were all kind and attentive. Its no wonder this restaurant has so many awards. I will definitely be going back.

2023-09-10 02:54:34Not traditional! This place serves Chinese food that is not traditional in the way of making. A lot of their dishes are China inspired but made with random ingredients and vegetables. Service was also not very polite and traditional. Things felt rush. No chopsticks. Started with Forks on the table. Mentioned of servers asking if we wanted hot sauce multiple times which we think is funny 😆. Good atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant but not up too par for foodwise and definitely not “Northern Chinese Cuisine”.

2022-10-25 18:05:49North China Restaurant is good overall. I went there for lunch on a Wednesday. Parking on the street was pretty easy. The dining room had some open tables when I came in and I was a little confused because there was no register or hostess station by the front door. I was directed by one of the servers to head through the restaurant and through the back door to a waiting area in the back where I was to write my name on the waitlist. There is a little place to sit and read the menu. I was seated after 5-minutes. There is a lunch special with about a dozen standard plates which include soup, egg roll, fried won ton, and fried rice for $14-15 dollars. The table was clean, and a server came right away and took my drink order. The same server quickly came back with my drink and took my order of the lunch special featuring pork fried rice. A very rich and tasty egg drop soup came right away along with hot tea and my diet coke. The soup was very dense and fill with eggs, tofu, and vegetables. Very tasty. Shortly thereafter my lunch special came. Steaming hot, nice looking, and neat presentation of chow mien with lots of bits of pork, generous portion of fried rice, and sizeable egg roll and smallish won ton. I started with the egg roll, and it was surprisingly good with bits of meat and vegetables. The fried wonton was a bit overcooked and didnt contain much of anything I could distinguish. I dipped both fried pieces in a good sweet and sour sauce they brought. The pork chow mien was very good. The noodles were finer in thickness and texture than what Ive been served in other restaurants, and I liked it. There were good bits of pork and vegetables throughout the serving. Overall, very nice taste and texture. The fried rice was light and fluffy. Nicely colored and pleasant tasting. I had some trouble distinguishing vegetables or meat in it and prefer more little goodies in the fried rice. The servers were excellent and very attentive checking back with me multiple times and refilling my drinks. The servers were nice, and I could see them smiling at me from under their masks. This was a nice place to eat lunch.

2019-02-06 07:03:59It was my third time in this restaurant, and they do have better Chinese food offerings than other restaurants. Though our egg foo young didn’t taste fresh, and it was soaked in sauce, the appetizer platter wasn’t worth it except for the egg roll, and shrimps and our soup came warm, not hot. It’s a busy restaurant, but the quality of food should not be compromised, and they dont have Chinese desserts and only offers ice cream. The waitstaff was somewhat friendly but lacks good customer service. No one offers “Real” Chinese food in the area, and if North China step up their game, they could be it!Btw, we visited this place on Chinese New Year for lunch, and I’m surprised that they didnt offer any specials to commemorate the holiday.

2023-09-10 19:32:39This is the best Chinese food in the area. A local favorite for decades. ALWAYS crowded, so get there early, and just make peace with the fact that you will have to wait to be seated. The food is great and the service is quick and efficient. They will seat large groups, but again, be prepared to wait.

2023-10-01 22:03:37I had the worst experience ever this Friday I ordered orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp with an order of chicken fried rice everything looked great but tasted slightly off. The next day I had the worst severe food poisoning of my life. Ill spare the details but I am 100% positive I got it from here so ce its the only food I ate Friday and absolutely nothing Saturday and Sunday due to the sickness. Just be careful on getting take out!

2023-05-15 17:29:17As a start, they give you a hot pot of tea. We had beef noodle, spicy mongolischen beef, already too much food for two. Noodles were bland but beef was very tasty.

2023-08-01 14:37:39Finding this place was a bit of an adventure since we took the wrong turn. But boy was it the best choice. The food was incredible. Great prices and huge plates. We had 2 adults and 1 child and could not finish 2 entrees.
