2023-11-13 03:10:32Singing: mashallah (3x) because this place is my go-to. The crew that works there feeds and takes care of my family. Please get the zeresk polo (rice, barberries saffron) if you like tang. Get the sabzi gormeh with the rice, and get the LARGE container. You can easily share this with 2 other adults, but if you love gormeh Sabzi, never ever share.Ask for the hot sauce if you like spicy, and the tzatziki sauce… smother that sauce on your rice, kebab and bread. If you’re at home, lick the container dry. No shame. The kabob, bah bah. Kubiddeh, jujeh all of it. It’s moist, plenty and yummy.buy the 4 large pieces of bread (4 for $1.75-2.00) next to the register. Use them for sandwiches for the week. The bread is fresh and will add to your waistline.Order the armenian pizza (lahmahjoun). If you’re taking it to go, order about 10. You can roll them up and freeze them. Go to the grocery store next door and buy some cilantro, parsley and dill. Go home rinse the herbs well. Toast the pizza until edges are browned. Add the herbs in the middle, lemon juice and roll it up. DELICIOUSLastly, if you dine in, get some Persian chai. It’s included with your meal.

2022-08-14 00:23:17Very fresh and really tasty! Portion sizes are large enough to share. Each combo is about $13. They make Delicious bread right there fresh. I also pick up an extra hummus and tabouli.I like to get it Togo, they do have seating but it is kinda like a cafeteria but works if you are there to eat and go.

2023-10-09 16:41:28Tasty, but not enough to justify the slow service. My family has enjoyed takeout from here several times, but the wait times have stretched to the point that we will no longer be coming back. On our last visit, we ordered only two kabob plates, a salad, and a tandoor flatbread. Given that there is always some delay, we werent surprised when we were told the wait would be 20 minutes - however we sat around for more than *45 Minutes*, before getting our food. (The bags were also handed over with a bit of a grumpy attitude too, since it seemed they didnt appreciate me lurking near the counter for the last 20 minutes.)As I say, we wont be back.

2022-03-28 05:33:49I love reviewing places in Poway because it’s a small town with really good restaurants that often gets overlooked and because I’ve lived here over +30 years so I’ll tell you how it is. North Park Produce Bakery is no different. Who would have thought that this restaurant next door to the supermarket is considered to be one of the best Persian restaurant in San Diego according to my Persian neighbor and it was my first time!?!It has a bakery and they make their own bread. It’s made fresh daily. You can order a La cart and combo meals. As well as hot foods like stews behind the glass. You order and pay first. They have a big dining room. There used to be outdoor patio seating in the parking lot spaces but they tore that down so it’s only indoor. I wished they kept the outdoor patio so that it could be pet friendly.I came here twice in one week. The first time was during Persian New Year and we ordered family meal shared among a group of 7 friends.Got the 3-5 person meal ($59.99) which came with an entire tray of saffron rice, a tray of lavash, a tray of 5 grilled tomatoes, 3 beef kabob, 2 chicken kabob, and salad. Also got a plate of Adas Polo (rice with dates, lentils and raisins), chicken and egg plant, Ash Reshteh stew (vegetable noodle soup with beans and herbs), Fesenjan stew (chicken, pomegranate molasses and walnut) $15.99, Ghormeh stew (beef, vegetables, dried limes, red kidney beans) $13.99.All the dishes were flavorful and tasty. We got a plate of basal and raw onions. You use that to make a wrap out of lavash with the meat and rice as fillings. It was so good that I came back again and got my mom #20 chicken and ground beef combo ($17.99). It was so much food! An entire box of saffron rice, topped with one beef kabob and one chicken on a layer of lavash and grilled tomato. A side box of Shirazi salad (tomatoes, Persian cucumber, red onion, mint, parsley, lemon and olive oil). A side box of extra lavash. Came with 2 garlic spread sauce, 2 tzatziki sauce, and 2 red spicy sauce. And a ton of Sumac spice packages that you sprinkle on top of the meat.

2017-01-03 01:46:01Simple but delicious food, great attitude and service and an excellent variety of middle eastern eats with the additional bonus that most choices are also healthy. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the North Park Produce store so if you feel like drinking a Tarhun, you just walk over to the other side and pick one up. Yes, we did!

2022-01-25 22:40:47Exceeded my expectations 👌When she brought the food to my table I was impressed. The meal was a work of art, tasted amazing and the portions were large. The free sides of garlic butter and yogurt dill sauce made it perfect.

2023-09-05 03:01:03Not a good place for vegetarian. I ordered a falafel plate, it had 5 falafel and a bit of hummus but I was mostly full of rice. I expected more falafel and hummus for $14 entree. It took very long to get my meal. Also they charge 4% for using credit card. Beware credit card users. I wont be ever coming here again.

2019-01-18 22:19:42I always love this place! It is a feast for the stomach and the eyes! It is so fun to people-watch all the different nationalities during the busy lunch rush hour. Very warm and inviting environment, and Amar and the staff are wonderful! The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. I always get tadig, because its my favorite thing, everything there is delicious, but my favorite dish is the chicken barg, which is pictured here. Also pistachio baklava. And the tea is the best!

2017-03-23 17:13:46North park produce is very fresh Persian food while you shop. We come to North park produce for our grocery shopping twice in the month and mostly we will get the Flatbread and their Pie and few times we also stayed for their lunch.First highlight is, their plate size is huge. You can easily order 2 plates and three can be full.Flatbread: $2 Available in meet, garlic flavors. I love the meet flavor, it is flavor ful and you can eat at anytime. Do try their FlatbreadPie: $1:50 They have chicken, cheese and potato filling. Eat it hot, it is very yummy.I have tried Boneless Chicken Kabob, Ghormeh Sabzi and Falafel Plate. Boneless Chicken Kabob is amazing grilled, it is so soft and melts in your mouth. Saffron and green rice are amazing among their specialty rice.Ghormeh Sabzi comes with Sauteed vegetables, beef cooked with dried limes and red kidney beans, yumm.Their Bakery section have pretty much all the Iranian desserts. Turkish delight, Love it !!!Service: Service is very Friendly and Fast.Atmosphere is very casual setting.Down:Cleaning the table after the customer leaves could be more fast and more often.Note: They wont let grocery inside the restaurants, so please load in to your car and come back
