My family recommended us to try this noodle place and Id say it exceeded my expectations!Food:- House noodle: so good! the noodles is chewy and delicious! freshly made! the beef was well cooked! 100/10- Pork peanuts dumplings: i was hesitant at first with the peanut but it truly exceeded my expectations! 10/10- Egg rolls: they were okay, nothing special. 8/10- Angus beef chow mein: they were pretty decent, the beef was a bit chewy but otherwise delicious, the noodles were stretchy and yummy! it was well cooked! 10/10Service:The only thing I had to critique on was the service, it was a bit difficult to get our servers attention. We ordered on the phone/QR menu. They didnt come to check on us very much to refill water or anything. 8/10 service.Overall:The ambience was relaxing, large open space where the tables arent squeezed together. The food was delightful, the music played was on point. I can overlook the service for the delicious food! 10/10 Id recommend this place!!

Wow each dish we tried was incredible! We’ll definitely be back to try their noodles. This place can get busy and initial service was slow but once we were able to order everything sped up. There’s plenty of seating inside and parking.Ordered for delivery and it wasn’t as tasty. Eating there highly recommended!

This is the first time Ive eaten here since it replaced the Mandarin Deli. I was pleasantly surprised how good the items were and the decor has been modernized. Great noodles a s dumpling. Im coming back soon.

Will never return. Disappointed in the quality and taste. Very inconsistent. I ordered shrimp wontons in spicy sauce and vegetable dumplings. Wontons were VERY salty and shaped weird. Dumplings were okay but didn’t have any sauce.I was only given 1 extra small chili oil.My fried oysters were good but they weren’t what I was expecting. They were breaded. I was hoping for battered.My meat skewers were underwhelming.

The soup of the beef noodle was authentic, the noodle was handmade and chewy but was too thick. The beef wrap was great but the sauce might be too much for someone. Lamb kebabs were great. Overall a good option if you don’t want to cook but not worth the trip if you have to travel far.

Hands down the best noodles Ive ever had! Theyre handmade and its a joy to watch them work through the glass, pure artisan skill on display - even better once you taste them! The noodles are cooked nicely - the flavor and texture are just wonderful whether its pan fried or in the soup. The dumplings are equally amazing, juicy boiled are simple delightful! Service is fantastic, cant wait to sample more, definitely give them a go, cheers!

Super flavorful and most things tasted authentic. Will be back to try more dishes :)- Favorites were the garlic eggplant and xiao long bao dumplings. Beef rolls were delicious, only slightly over sauced- Can be skipped were the skewers and garlic green beans (bit pricey compared to other dishes)

I’ve been dining in this place ofer a few years. The food was good already and I didn’t care much about the rest (interior, service, etc). There was big improvements in food (soup dumplings, to be specific) and the interior is updated to modern standard.Get fried dumplings and soup dumplings. They will never disappoint you.

Came here with a friend. It was average. Not the same as the one I usually go to around Arcadia, but this might be a different restaurant altogether.I got the beef noodle soup, it was bland to me. I can’t remember if I ordered spicy beef noodle soup or not. My friend got an udon stir fry. The service was very friendly, and we came during lunch and parked in their lot.

Just saw this place while driving down Reseda. Finally got to eat here and everything we ordered was LEGIT!!! From the XLB, to the wonton soup, to the boiled dumplings. In my opinion, their juicy pork soup dumplings gives Din Tai Fung a run for their money. Place was clean and homey. Staff was friendly and very attentive. This place is highly recommended.

So my family and I used to come here before it was under new ownership/management. They always had fresh authentic food and our server was a kind family man. My parents brought home leftovers now that it’s under a new name/ownership and I have to say their fried rice just as fresh and tasty as before. Their soup is new, it had seaweed, sliced chives, pork & veggie dim sum dumplings & a good broth. We’re definitely coming back here again ✨.

June 13, 8:16pm dinner date with my little family, all lucky 14 of us. This is the nth time under new management, this a winner. Pretty much everything we ordered was made to perfection. The food for me was more of a more Taiwanese style Chinese cooking. We will definitely come again and again. Pricewise, it was reasonable.

The beef noodles was tasty. Not too spicy, so if you really like it spicy you can always add more chilis. Love how they package the Togo. The noodles doesn’t get soggy or clumpy. Taste similar to Din Tai Fung.

June 2023: Dumplings, noodles, and skewers prepared the Northern Chinese style. Handmade noodles - you can see the cook prepare them. Flavor was terrific. Price was fair. I would eat there again and again.

We ordered a few different dishes to try everything. It was all fresh & tasty. The tables were loaded with condiments like sambal & an in-house chili sauce that added to the flavor so much. The staff was so sweet as well.

Not very impressive but average and acceptable chinese cuisines. I would say the dumplings were average but the noodles would be only 2 out of 5 stars for their tastes. Probably wont return since I know other better chinese restaurants.

Customers, be careful of this restaurant. They gave us NOT fully cooked dumplings. After we talk to the waitress here, she insists the dumpling is fully cooked and the color is pink is because they use red meat. That is ridiculous, it can’t not be half white half pink if the meat is fully cooked. Very disappointed experience, this is the worst northern cafe in LA area !

Well we went to this place once where the OLD restaurant was, and just went that once. Not that great...BUT THIS NEW RESTAURANT~, Yummy Yum Yum~! The food was Dee-licious, hearty and the servings were generous which we appreciated so very much! (Dont ever change)! Cant wait to return! Now, three things I want to share that dont affect the quality of the food in any way: 1. TELL THEM NO MSG. 2. When you guys clean the tables, DONT MAKE SO MUCH CLANGING NOISE~! The ceilings are tall and the banging of the dishes thrown into the bus tub reverberate right through you! Shoulders Up Annoying! Put the dishes in the bus tub more quietly!!! 3. Tell the girl there that came to our table a few times (went 3/28 pm) to cheer up! She was so somber we thought she might have gotten in trouble or something because she was a walking minus sign! If you dont feel it, FAKE it, but we felt a little bad about her depressing energy!BUT~! The FOOD WAS SO GOOD~!!! We savored every bite and as mentioned, we cant wait to return. LOVED THIS NEW PLACE~!Hearty, Delicious and well, maybe we will even go back there tonight`!

We tried a variety of dishes, enjoyed all of them, would give 4.5 stars due to rice not being evenly cooked. Fast efficient service, fast kitchen. Good condiments. Nice to have them in SFV and not always needing to drive to sgv for this type of food.

Wow! We ordered takeout from Northern Cafe for the first time tonight and it was just SO good we had to let people know. Everything we got was delicious and freshly prepared. I even called them to let them know how good it was and how much we enjoyed everything. They were happy to hear that and I could tell they really care that their customers are happy. We can’t wait to eat their food again and look forward to being able to dine in. You gotta go!

The perfect place to get your dumpling fix! This place has a wide variety of dumplings which you can get steamed or pan-fried. The dumpling skin is the right consistency - not too thick like some places. Lots of fillings to choose from. The pork and cabbage is particularly good. Their non-dumpling dishes are great, too! We love the braised eggplant and lao gan ma noodles. We have only ever gotten takeout, but their restaurant is spacious and clean. So glad these folks opened a branch in Northridge!

We had the Scallion Pancake, Juicy pork Dumplings, Vegetable Fried Rice and Dan Dan Noodles.Most of it was okay. We really enjoyed the freshness of the veggie rice, but the Dan Dan noodles were overcooked and super bland unfortunately.
