Northern Cafe in Rancho Palos Verdes

Ordered Dan Dan noodles with chicken, Shrimp Dumplings with sauce, and fried chicken. The Dan Dan gravy/curry was not to our liking, the other two were okay. No dine in option when we went for dinner, only take out. Disappointed as we drove 25 min for dine in. They need to update maps to reflect that. Parking lot is not very big, but works as it’s a relatively a small joint

Delicious local branch of a northern Chinese cuisine establishment. Their crispy chicken, baby bok choi and soup dumplings are incredible. Having now been a regular here for years though, I can assure you can’t go wrong with most anything on their menu. Very awesome family that operates this place, give them a thumbs up!! 🥟🥟🥟🥬🥬🥢🥢🫓

The staff are really friendly. One of the best Thai teas in the area. I wasnt a fan of the chow mein but the orange chicken is a must have. Stop going to panda express, get yourself some northern care instead

Dumplings were plump, juicy, and delicious. The sauce it comes with is so amazing with a savory+sweet taste.

You know, after being cooped up in my apartment all day it was going to be a delight to come try this place out for dine in only to find a somewhat worn sign that says, “take out only”. I guess they didn’t get the memo that the pandemic is over, so I left taking my money with me.

The beef roll was recommended so I tried it. It was quite good. Im looking forward to returning and trying something else. Ive heard the dumplings are fantastic! As for the overall atmosphere of the place, it was empty except for a couple patrons, but I imagine that was because it was later afternoon before dinner time. The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting.

Wow! Absolutely amazed at how friendly and welcoming the staff is. Asides from that, the food here is worth a try! Its my second visit and everything exceeded my expectations.My personal favorites are the Juicy Pork & Crab Dumplings (Chinese style of dumpling with broth inside) and the Shrimp Fried Rice is a must. Their Beef Noodle Soup is one of the best tasting here locally. Its got a hearty flavor with a bit of spice, but nothing you cant handle along with big chunks of beef and veggies.
