Northgate Market in Culver City

Northgate Market is the best if you want Mexican food, produce and things you will not get elsewhere. They also have everything else you would get at any good market.The place is just spotless. They are always cleaning and it shows. The produce is amazing and they have a selection of peppers you simply wont find at a typical market.They have a large section of hot food. You can get it there and just leave or continue shopping. The selection is really amazing and the prices are low. They have the best tamales and their rice and beans are so great. They have a lot of hot items and sometimes there is a line, but it moves fast. You will be happy with everything.As to the main market area they have good prices on things you would want to get at a regular market and a vast selection of Spanish and Mexican items, be they canned or fresh.It is easy to park in their large lot.The service is great. I have never seen an employee that does not look happy and they are all so kind.You will love this place. We do.

I went in for a certain cut of beef. The guy that helped me was new, so he didnt know what I meant, but he right away asked another worker, and I was amazed these guys worked together and helped me they were both polite kept conversation regarding my purchase I will be going back because of the service they gave me. this was the first time I was in this store. The store is getting remodeled, but everyone was on top in every way the cashier was also polite and very helpful!!!!! At the Northgate shopping center.

Just moved here, found this store nearby. Great store, fun to walk through. I think the best thing is the tamales they make, very nice. They have them in packages you can toss in the freezer, and hot ones in a self-serve station [ed: its not self-serve]. The bakery looks intriguing, but I cant be eating that kind of stuff too much. They make stacks of tortillas in the store, though I confess I eat those high-fiber, low calorie chemical plant creations these days, so I cant indulge. Still, lots of good stuff here, great selection of Mexican peppers at rock bottom prices, less than two bucks for plump pablanos. One thing Id like to see is a greater selection of red sauces, but no shortage of dried peppers to make your own, I suppose, bins of them. Look for bean and cheese filled corn disks in the freezer, good snacks for the air fryer.

Another overpriced grocery store in the neighborhood. Small items for full-size prices. Limited selections. 2☆s because the neighborhood needs a grocery store, and the staff is nice.

I always enjoy coming to this grocery store for specific mexican foods. Especially for the ranchera meat that is juicy and tender. Always good for the weekend carne asadas.The last time I was there, the store was going under a remodeling. Like to see that its finally getting an upgrade.

Came here to shop as usual and i love this store but the customer service is not good, i bought a product and it was melted and disgusting, they are doing renovations and the place is dimly lit, the freezers and so cold when u bug something the box will literally come apart if it’s cardboard. Very disappointed, loved this place but it has gone downhill.

Many of the products are damaged, for example, the vegetables are almost spoiled, some fruits, also very little assortment in olive trees, only the basic ones, the prices are too high, almost as if they were buying in other stores that are more expensive and have better products.

Plethora of homemade Mexican food cooked daily, even tamales! Theyve done a great job with this place.

I come here regularly for the great prices on produce, the great Mexican food, and all kinds of desserts. I would note, there is definitely a strange odor near the meat department, if that were gone I would give 5 stars.

Great improvement at this location; adding 6 self check stations, dramatically improving the check cashing (Próspera) boot and Adding couple of table and an eating zone and also adding a guisados self serving station. Appreciated
