Very nice but very expensive for location. Was just splurging for beautiful wife. No breakfast included. Check in was great. Eat in town somewhere because restraunt is pricey.
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!The staff has gone above and beyond both times we have stayed here. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel like family. Your experience is important to them.The rooms are incredible, the view spectacular!!!!The food is outstanding!!!I sit here looking now, out at the Harbor going into the Pacific and see the seal playing. The sound of their barking brings joy....way different then your neighbors dog🤣.It is a very special place!
Went for dinner. Lovely deck right on Noyo Harbor. Scallops over risotto was outstanding. Very attentive service.
We wanted Rock fish 🐟 on this day but the first restaurant we visited was mostly out. We were welcomed graciously & to our surprise, the fish was grilled to perfection (I ordered the Ceasars salad topped with Rock cod & my husband ordered Eggs Benedict with smoked Salmon). Everything was Delicious and the service was great! We will definitely return, the balcony is wonderfully placed and elegant.
Experienced only the restaurant and it is very, very nice. Definitely a highlight on the NOCAL coast in Fort Bragg. If you are in or near the area, we highly recommend the restaurant without question. Staff are professional.
The hotel room & overall grounds were absolutely fantastic. Everything was clean and very well maintained with an obvious attention to upscale finishes and some high-end woodworking throughout. The staff was great; everyone was very friendly and accommodating. To call it “luxurious” is a bit of a stretch, but if you’re looking for a meticulously maintained, high-class place to stay within walking distance to Noyo Harbor, this is the place for you.Despite of this however, I’m giving them two stars thanks to our absolute disappointment with the Thanksgiving dinner and overall food offered by the NHI. We made reservations months in advance for their $78/person, four-course meal, so needless to say our entire party had high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal because after all, it IS the only luxury hotel in Fort Bragg, right? What was served however was analogous to a meal one might expect to eat at the local Denny’s restaurant. With the exception of our salad, the meal was terrible. We all opted for the brisket, and after forcing down as mush as I could, I glanced through the nearby kitchen window and half-expected to see the staff feverishly cooking and plating Marie Calendars microwave dinners. We had four adults and one child, for whom a half-priced, 12 and under junior meal was offered. To be fair, my son had the junior $40 option, and his turkey was good. I suppose we should have all ordered the turkey, but I was reluctant to spend $80 on a luxurious turkey dinner.To top off the evening, a 25% service fee was added to our check for some reason (we had 5 people not 15). Our waiter was fine, but not worth 25%. After complaining about our food, the manager thankfully took off one of the dinners, but I couldn’t have been more disgusted with paying $421.71 for one of the most underwhelming meals I’ve had in quite a while. We also ate breakfast there the day before, and it was just ok, nothing worth the money they charge.So in closing, the Noyo Harbor Inn is a wonderfully maintained and clean hotel with a black eye in the kitchen. If you ever find yourself there for Thanksgiving, walk down to The Warf restaurant (aka Silvers) where you can enjoy a delicious, blue collar, come-as-you-are turkey dinner for under $40.
My wife and I decided to go out on a whim and walked in. The restaurant was busy with what should have been a 30 min wait, but the active host found us room at a table in the bar immediately. We met Colby, a bar tender and pro bev manager. Best drinks Ive had on the coast. He is an alchemist behind the bar, with an inspired drink menu and still had attention to serve the whole room dinner service at times . The food was even better than the first time my wife and I came 2 years ago. Scallops were perfect, the Dungeness crab cakes were fresh and delicious. The new executive chef there has got moves. this 5 stars review is not because something was goodIts for everything being great, even when they were busy. Good team.
Good food 4 stars, service and ambiance deserve 5 stars which makes up the rest for a 5 star rating. The steak ordered at medium was rather medium well, too chewy. The portion was huge. It was also too peppery. My scallop and risotto should be presented on a flat plate not in a pasta bowl dish. Clam chowder was good. The cooking was elevated but not particularly talented. Nevertheless it is a nice place to have a refined dinner.
Booked a king tub room with views of the harbor and river. Unfortunately, our view was of the buildings below us on N Harbor Drive and we could not see the river or harbor. Otherwise, the room itself was good (other than the noisy refrigerator that we had to unplug every night). Upon checking out, we confirmed which room to book in order to be able to see water. We did sit outside and have a couple of drinks overlooking the river and boat area and that was nice.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as we had never been there and hotel restaurants sometimes..,, you never know the quality. I was surprised from the time we walked in we were warmly greeted and escorted to a table of our choice but.., we were able to change tables because of the sun. All were very accommodating. the waitress was extremely efficient the food was fabulous. The price of the wine extremely reasonable along with the price of the food ! The Quality Of the meal was excellent! I highly recommend this establishment. (We didn’t stay here just ate)
Wonderful stay! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect. We had the down stairs king room. My favorite part was waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee right outside our room watching the sea lions and the boats going out from the harbor.

Always wonderful and fresh food. Service is pleasant and adds to the atmosphere. The consistency is key and one thing I truly value. This a favorite place of mine and my family. The renovations made to a lovely old inn and restaurant are fantastic and take me back to the good old days, except with finesse. Keep up the amazing work!
Food not great and paying with Visa a nightmare because we are foreigners it was claimed - not sure electronic systems work well in the US. Had to pay cash and now the amount is also being drawn on the card - hurray.
After a less than ideal group meal, Krista invited us back to experience appetizers in the dining room as it was meant to be experienced. WOW!! It was wonderful! The service was perfect, and the variety of appetizers she brought us was out of this world delicious! I loved the deviled eggs, the Cajun meatloaf sliders (which werent over the top hot), and especially the barbecue riblets- to die for!!! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We were seated by a very ornate fireplace and was totally comfortable as we enjoyed to harbor view. Youve gotta check this out!!!
Amazing upscale inn and restaurant tucked away right off the 101. On the expensive side but rightfully earned. Good for intimate dinners as well as large groups. We came with a larger party of about 10 and we’re comfortably seated in their Sunset room. Amazing service from waitstaff as well.

Always enjoy Noyo Harbor Restaurant, have been many time. Awesome bloody Mary’s and don’t think I’ve ever had anything I didn’t like. Took off one star just because hostess wasn’t the mostest today. Unusual.
Upon arrival we were greeted by an older lady that sighed and was clearly annoyed she had to check us in at her shift change. Not the attitude you want to receive after driving 4 hrs to get there. Next morning we went to the restaurant to have breakfast. The hostess asked if she could help us and we stated we wanted to eat breakfast. She then asked if we had reservations. No one else was observed being asked this. I feel she was judging us because of our appearance because we have tattoos and werent dressed a certain way. Little does she know my husband and I have great jobs and paid over $300 a night to stay at this hotel. The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location near Noyo Harbor. Ive stayed at nicer hotels in Fort Bragg. Wont be staying at this one again.
For this area it may be the best you can get. But that being said the food was good but not great and our server did not approach us for 25 minutes. At this point I got up and told the staff, after our order was taken it was an additional 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. The waitress also forgot to serve is the wine that was paired with our dinner. In her defense she comped the bottle but that seamed like a last ditch to save the dinner after multiple failures. The cocktails were on point and the atmosphere was very enjoyable but overall it didnt hit the mark.As a side note when the waitress came to take our drink order, I said oh I forgot the name (of the cocktail I wanted) and he reasons was oh after all this time you still dont know what you want Yes! After 25 minutes of waiting for you I did not remember the full name of a cocktail...... 😑After I posted my review I received a response from management to give a call like others have on here. But after two times of calling and providing my name and number to the staff who told me management was not available I have yet to receive a phone call.
Noyo Hatbor Inn is one of our favorite places to eat in Fort Bragg. Weather we want to treat family to an amazing meal, meet friends for a cocktail or date night. The view is stunning, staff is always attentive and the food....where do I start?! Beautiful presentation, full of flavor and the selection is plentiful. And I believe the price is reasonable with all thing considered these days. Brunch, lunch or dinner...you will leave full and happy 😊
I only went into the restaurant and walked around their gardens.The restaurant is delicious if not just a bit overpriced for lunch. They provide large portion sizes for your meal. Staff were still wearing masks for customer safety. I visited on Halloween and the staff were all wearing costumes which was fun.The deck and gardens are quite nice. We saw a harbor seal swimming about and walked around enjoying their Roman style gardens.
Stayed for two nights, eat in the restaurant and booked the SPA. We stayed in RM18. They claimed they are luxury hotel. Nothing is luxurious except the price. Even motel room is bigger than RM18. There are mosquitoes in the room. Went to the front desk but the front desk accuse us that we should not open the patio door? They believe it is all customer’s fault. The most terrible thing in the room is that the fire smoker is right above the bed, three green lights keep blinking for the whole night. Can barely fall asleep. We drove 4 hours up to enjoy our holiday. But we only got this? Very disappointed. Do not go there.
I booked the Noyo Harbor Inn for a much needed weekend getaway with hubby and I could not have been happier with my decision. Great location, well maintained and very hospitable staff.NOTES:They are pet friendly.They have a restaurant on site - food is very fresh and portions good.They have a SPA room onsite. I booked a couples massage and we very much enjoyed!
The hotel was very, very nice! Our room was BIG and had gorgeous views and was very clean and quiet. the real standout, however, is the restaurants. OMG, wow, the food is amazing! We had dinner there every night (pro tip: make a reservation!!) The salads are lovely, the steak was wonderful, and the desserts - WOW. Get every dessert, youre welcome.
My husband and I had a great time on our overnight stay! Very clean, very quiet, nice gas fireplace and with our favorite bath tub for two😃. Our room also had a wonderful view of the Noyo River meeting the ocean.
Working with Noyo Harbor Inn was a fantastic experience. My fiancé and I were looking for places for dinner for a small family wedding and Carol was enormously helpful. She walked us through the event planning options available and was super responsive when we had questions. Noyo has an adorable garden and the food (which we sampled while scouting) was fantastic. We ultimately ended up choosing another location for our dinner purely because the access to the garden was a little steep for the elderly in our party.Definitely recommend Noyo.
My absolute favorite place to eat on the harbor. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I love to go here for brunch and have a drink and some food while watching the sea life and hearing the sea lions barking! Never a bad experience here. Love. Love. Love.
We love this restaurant, been here several times. Service is excellent, food is delicious and the view is gorgeous! Our most recent visit was for brunch. My husband had the chicken fried steak and was mmmming the whole way thru. I had the eggs Bennie Florentine and it was amazing, the spinach was sauteed onions and mushrooms. Plus they are doggie friendly which is a huge plus.
The room is super cozy!!!! Although it said ocean view .. it was a slice of the ocean that we could see from the room. Not sure if I would call that ocean view. But u can expect a good view of the harbor and the backwaters with a slice of ocean in the corner. I have added a photo from the patio for you guys to check out.Vegetarians!! The noyo harbor inn served some good veggie options. I was so not expecting this. They surely have good seafood which my friend appreciated. But I was so happy with my veggie options. The farrow bowl was yummm.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Service was wonderful. We enjoyed the surrounding areas very much.The only thing to note as something that may be addressed further is the mattress and pillows. This may be a preference on our part. We prefer a firmer mattress and one where we do not feel our partner’s movements getting into, out of, or rolling over, in the bed. Also pillows. We admit we did not ask for or inquire if they had Temperpedic pillows. If you prefer those, then inquire.We do recommend this as a great place for a stay.
This rate is only for the restaurant. I looked for this place because it was recommended to me. I went at evening and was dark, so it was very difficult to find the entrance since it’s very narrow. The dinner entrees menu don’t have a variety of choices for vegetarians or pescatarians. They only have Caesar salad as starter, but not a variety of seafood neither. Since it was late and hungry I ate scallops but they were pricey and I didn’t like the flavor. The customer service was regular, the order of people that came after me was taken before mine. I felt disappointed.

I was looking forward to eating some seafood after reading a plaque at the Noyo Headlands Park that informed me that Noyo offers the only deep sea harbor between SF and Eureka. The sign shared that salmon and crab were the more sustainable seafoods to eat. So, I was sad that the brunch menu only featured a rock cod sandwich or fish and chips. The cocktails were tasty (4). The florentine benedict gets a 4.5 because who knew you could still get ham as well as nicely sautéed mushrooms with that option. The egg was still runny so yay, a thumbs up on this one and the small roasted potatoes were nicely cooked. The burger was also nicely presented and cooked to specified request (medium rare). The fish and chips were meh (3). Eating outdoors is the way to go as you can get a front row seat for seal action and boat watching (cages and nets loaded).
This review is for the restaurant. We ate at the restaurant on our last visit, and it was very good and the ambience delightful by the river.Based on our last visit, we decided to have dinner with our family of six people on April 16. This dinner was very disappointing, both in terms of service and quality of the food. We had two younger children who ordered pasta. At least 30 minutes after the order was processed, the pasta finally came, even though we asked if the children could be served their dinner as soon as it was prepared. The pasta was not spaghetti as listed on the menu, and we were not told there would be a substitute.One of the orders was for pork chops. They were partially raw, and had to be sent back to be fully cooked.It was a far cry from our last dinner at this restaurant!
My husband and I decided to stay at Noyo Harbor Inn for our honeymoon because it seemed to be a nice hotel close to our wedding venue. At our recommendation, our friends and family also stayed there for the wedding weekend. We enjoyed our stay there until their new booking system messed up our reservation. The hotel staff called me on my cellphone as my husband and I were about to depart on a canoe trip. They told us that we were supposed to check out that day and that they had someone else coming in for the night. The staff member, Carol, made it sound as if we were trying to take advantage of the hotel by making a last minute change to stay an extra night. Rather than believe us when we told her that our reservation was booked for that night, she continued to make us feel as if we were at fault. I started crying at one point because all I wanted was to enjoy the peace of the river with my husband and instead we were trying to ensure we had a hotel room to sleep in for the last night of our honeymoon. Carol would not believe me that we had booked the room for that last night until I forwarded her our confirmation email with our reservation dates. I understand that technology is not always perfect, but I also have experience in customer service and I cannot imagine treating a customer, especially who is on their honeymoon, with such disrespect. Furthermore, Carol accused us of lying to them when she knew their system had previously made mistakes (not to lengthen the story, but they also messed up my sister-in-law‘s reservation and explained that they had manually entered the reservations into the new system). I am writing this review because I cannot recommend enough that guests book another hotel in the area. There are so many wonderful places to stay in Mendocino and Fort Bragg. For the cost of a room at Noyo Harbor Inn I would expect the customer service to be professional and that they would make their guests feel comfortable. We have already told our family and friends about our experience, but I feel others should know as well.
Had dinner last night. Server must have been very new, as she was extremely slow and seemed unable to perform her job. The food was terrible, scallops done perfectly, but then the chef added way too much butter and lemon, which turned the risotto into a sour mush. The crab cakes had shell bits in each one. Would certainly not go back. Oh..and very very over priced…
The location was really nice. But the service wasnt good at all, they had very young servers that didnt know better. The food was tasteless with no seasoning on the food at all, and after paying $144 for two peoples meals it just didnt sit well with me or my wife.
Fine dining at the Noyo harbor! They have plenty of parking and the restaurant overlooks the river. Great atmosphere, and the food was good. They had lots of seafood options, such as sole, scallops, and prawns!
If you plan to visit Ft Bragg, this is the place to stay. Clean and nicely appointed rooms, friendly and very helpful staff, and a great restaurant with outdoor seating (with heaters) overlooking the harbor and seals. Stayed here in the past and looking forward to our next visit in the future.
Carol was supreme in helping with our reservations (as they kept changing), but we were warming received on arrival, the wait staff was nicely attentive, the outdoor atmosphere just short of heavenly and the food perhaps the best in the area!The NHI is my go to place!
The property is beautiful but the room my husband and I got stuck in was horrible!! We had to walk through the dinning area or outside patio area where people were eating every time we left our room or to get back in. So uncomfortable!! They say the restaurant closes at 9 at 11 pm people were still on the patio eating, drinking & being loud. The room we got was absolutely tiny . If you book make sure to say you don’t want room 7 . $670 for two nights In a very uncomfortable environment.
I didnt stay the night but I dined on the balcony of their restaurant. Excellent food and service. Great view of the harbor and lovely grounds. Its a higher end dining than the surrounding restaurants and cafes. Its worth it.
King bed awesome, the property is perfect, well groomed, spotless room, the shower was amazing, staff great, gave good recommendations to beach and things todo. Nespresso machine in the room perfect way to start the morning, restaurant looks perfect and the views amazing
What a stunning hotel room. The terraced living room with pull-out couch made me feel like an executive living in Sausalito. The coffee bar is an exquisite touch. I’ve never stayed in a room with a French press before. The bathtub is luxurious and borderline pool size!If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in Fort Bragg look no further. And believe me we have stayed in quite a few places in this area.... little update. Rooms can be very noisy. From people walking upstairs or draining bathtubs or the chatter from the harbor.
Ive eaten here several times and its always a great experience. One of the best food stops in the area, and Id always recommend stopping if you are going through town.
Our favorite place to dine not only because the atmosphere and food and drinks are great but the view is breath taking. The silly thing is being a life long local, you can come to NHI and feel like your somewhere else to enjoy a beautiful meal and socialize with your friends and family. Cant wait to have a night away and a stay cation with my love in one of their beautiful rooms.
The staff was very nice. The food is great I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts! We stayed in room 8. It is noisy lol you can hear the chairs moving in the restaurant above but the noise is done at 10:30 at the latest. The bathtub is huge! The king size bed is super comfy and its an overall great experience. Bonus points they allowed our dogs and our dogs loved it too lol.
In terms of location and service, they are stunning. It is worth a visit just for that. They have great menu with Fabolous listed ingredient list. However the actual cooked meal tasted like it came from an all you can eat buffet that had been left on the warmer for hours. Such a shame for an otherwise amazing location and set up. Hope to see better quality next time Im there.
Location is great, hotel staff is friendly. Room is nicely appointed with a living area and separate bedroom. Plenty of room to upgrade it to a king size bed, which I suggest. The fog horn sounds all day and night (I find it nice), and the harbor traffic on the street outside dies down by 10. The food at the restaurant is very good, but service for both breakfast and lunch was lacking.
Very good food and atmosphere. We got the Dungeness crab raviolis, a house salad, and the chicken with fresh seasonal vegetables. Seasonal vegetables. Everything was delightful right down to the artisanal cocktails.
The setting of outdoor restaurant seating was spectacular, overlooking the river. Service and drinks were great, we went for brunch, the polenta and French toast were great, breakfast sandwich was a bit soggy
Noyo Harbor Inn has indoor and outdoor dining with panoramic views of forested slopes and the Noyo River below. You can watch the fishing boats and hear the barking seals. I love going there for brunch. The food is excellent and so is the service.
A beautiful setting overlooking the harbor. Pleasant welcoming staff. Very good food and excellent service from our waitress, Laura. It was a pleasure to take a friend there from out of town. On weekends, especially, its a good idea to make a reservation.
Great views of the harbor. The brunch was pretty good. We got the pancakes (nothing special), ham and cheese croissant sandwhich (very good), and the Noyo Harbor combo (also very good). Something to note is the outdoor patio is NOT RAMP ACCESSIBLE. So if you have a wheelchair or stroller be prepared for a few stairs.
We didn’t stay here but we ate brunch and it was awesome! Delicious, fresh seafood with an amazing view of the harbor. Definitely try the rock fish sandwich.
Stayed in room #1 for New Years Eve and it was very bliss! We had the best room with magnificent views, beautiful bathroom and a rustic feeling to the room with a big new fireplace! Make sure they double check that it’s working! The have an awesome balcony and dining/bar area! Service and food was great! I’ve been living in FB two years now and this is my new favorite spot 😏☺️
A delightful and classy Inn nestled in the Fort Bragg Harbor. The accommodations are first rate, the tavern and restaurant are terrific, the detail and decor are surprisingly upscale and tasteful. More like a lodge in Squaw or Sun Valley, the manicured grounds are perched above the working harbor of Fort Bragg. A short walk gets you to the fresh crab and seafood straight off the boats on the wharf. The Inns staff are friendly and helpful, and the members of the food/bar service are talented and accommodating. Well definitely be back!
Its an elegant building and location with great potential. The menu is half decent and the service is very well meaning and polite. Every time Im been here though the food is average to poor. Im gluten intolerant and for a place that is presenting itself as fine dining, pretty much everything is deep fried. Even after discussing the deep fat fryer being cross contaminated with the waiter (like every other time Ive been there), I get served deep fried onions on my steak and crostini on my mussels. The meat was all overcooked and to top it off, I got home with an allergic reaction to low quality farmed shellfish. The grade of food is just poor. Noyo Harbor Inn, you have the potential to turn your spot into something else, but with your low rent chef and less than high end experience, youre wasting the 15 million dollar venue youre using. Either just settle up and be Captain Flints or step up to bringing the fine dining you envisioned to fort bragg. You have the potential, but you need to make changes.
Superb! In every respect. From the amazing dining deck area overlooking the harbor to the best meal I have had in a vey long time. The salmon literally melted in my mouth. Regards to the Chef and staff. I’ve paid much more for dining that wasn’t half this enjoyable.
LOVE LOVE!! We live nearby and heard this place was great and it did NOT disappoint! We sat outside in the sun and listened to the seals barking and watching ships come and go. My Aperol spritz and crab salad were wonderful, and our server Laura was impeccable. Our new favorite place!!
This inn on the Noyo River, next to commercial fishing boats and rising redwoods, is a beautiful coast hideout. Fresh salmon right off the boat was my first meal cooked to perfection. I booked brunch each day for my family to join me at the serene setting on the water.

This was by far the best Inn I have ever stayed at. The quiet location surrounded by the harbor leaves a lasting memory.From the gardens surrounding the outside to the perfectly detailed woodwork throughout the interior to the food prepared by the chef, not a detail was overlooked.If you are looking for a quality experience, this is it.
If looking for great food/drinks/view/wood work then look no further than right here. I couldnt believe how nice this place looked inside. The food was a little pricey, but what do you expect when you walk into such a high end place. #thepuddingcreektrestle

Pretty good food, nice view. Great spot for a romantic dinner. The chocolate lava cake was the highlight of our meal. A tad on the small side and not your typical “lava” style, but heavenly.
Came here only for dinner. It is located in a very nice place right above the harbour and both the terrace and the inside were well furnished. We ordered 2 ribeyes, cali burger and Mediterranean plate. Ribeyes were tender but not extremely tasty, whilst sidedishes were exceptional. The rest of the food was good. Service was good and staff was very professional and welcoming. Prices were a bit too high.Had a good time and would reccomend!
The NHI overlooks the Noyo Harbor and has views of the waterway and bridge with fishing boats going out to sea. The grounds are immaculate. Our room, or suite, is very cute and comfortable. We have a small balcony with an ocean view where you can enjoy the sound of the fog horn guiding boats to harbor. The restaurant is pretty with cherrywood throughout. A bit pricey but the food was good. If youre looking for a nice place to get away, check out the Noyo Harbor Inn.
Noyo Harbor Inn offers pristine views in all directions from rooms and from the grounds. The rooms are quaint and quiet with beautiful wood paneling throughout . Some rooms offer decking that looks out into harbor. Every room has a large in room tub big enough for two or more and a shower in separate area. The beds are soft and supple to provide an excellent opportunity to get a great night sleep. There are many restaurants near by or you can have breakfast lunch or dinner onsite. Their is a full bar that accommodates up to 34 people and small but nice conference room a joining bar with TV . The rooms are pricey but the staff are exceptional. This place just opened up a few months ago but I see a great place to stay in Fort Brag here. I have provided multiple pictures.

Great spot for a romantic stay. Fantastically remodeled a few years back, preserving the old world charm while infusing a nice touch of fresh modernization. Very kind and accommodating management and staff. Had a nice breakfast in the restaurant as well.
Great fine dining as well as breathtaking views of the ocean and harbor. You will surely enjoy the harbor seals and myriad of boats peacefully floating atop the ocean views at this wonderful inn and restaurant.
Stopped here for lunch late in the day, so enjoyed the happy hour menu. Every single dish was delicious. The restaurant is very covid safe, taking all precautions possible, down to providing a hand sanitizer spray bottle at the beginning of the meal and waiters wearing masks and face shields. Thank you for catering to the overly cautious during covid times - I was finally fully comfortable eating at a restaurant!

The setting is magical. Overlooking Noyo Harbor, the fishing fleet below you, the boat running lights twinkle in the evening as do the stars on a clear night. The food is prepared and presented well and they serve the best cocktails in town.
We have definitely experienced better. This location needs some staff restructuring; lacking efficiency and customer service.We reserved a specific room at this location, about 3 weeks in advance. We never received any phone calls from the Inn regarding our reservation, leading us to believe everything was going to be fine.We arrived Friday afternoon, of the weekend we would be staying and were led in to a room that we did not book, and told that this room was right above the kitchen and we would definitely hear their staff. We advised the front desk associate that wasnt the room we reserved online. The front desk attendant then said, oh thats weird, we should get to the bottom of that. She then said, Let me show you this other room, just in case. She led us to another room, again, not the room that we reserved. Back in the lobby, she is looking over the paperwork, confirms that we booked the room we remembered and stated that one of the other staff associates had moved our reservation to another room because our original room reservation had a sofa bed and they wanted to accommodate a party of 4 and gave them our room. Like I said before, no one from this establishment even called to see if that was something we would agree to. Not to mention, there was at least a $40 room cost difference from what we booked to what they moved us to, and according to the invoice they didnt even change the prices to attempt to make it right. I asked the front desk associate, who booked their room first, she replied that we had.She told us she would have to do some moving around, and make some phone calls to get us back in to the room we originally booked. While that sounds fairly simple, we waited about a half hour for her to make changes and phone calls - for a room that we booked first. It was an incredibly off-putting and frustrating experience.Once she finished, she took us to the correct room, and offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. She asked that when we came back downstairs, that we come back to the front desk, to sign new paperwork for the correct room we would be staying in. We came down about 10 mins after that, she was texting or gaming on her cell phone, and told us that she didnt have the paperwork ready for us. Our 2nd trip down to the lobby, as we were getting ready to explore for the day, she had the paperwork ready. That seemed very inefficient.The room was beautiful and just as I remembered in the pictures, from when I booked it. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom with the giant soaking tub and dual shower heads was a dream! There is an AC control in the room, however, they dont tell you it doesnt work. The windows do open, and if left open, will eventually cool down the room nicely, I mean - you are on the coast. The fire place was very nice, but it heats that little room up really fast!!! The walls are fairly thin, so you do hear a lot of what is happening in the Inn, as well as, our room windows faced the dining patio, which led to additional noise in our room (due to keeping the room cool with the windows open).My spouse did go down to have breakfast, as they were comping the meal. According to him, the coffee was pretty good; however, the rest needed work. He ordered a waffle, it was pretty basic. The syrup they brought him was cold. They didnt offer to refill his drink until he was leaving.The Inn is very nice and spared no expense with their re-modeling. They could benefit from additional training in every aspect of their operations. I do not think we would stay here again, we have had better experiences at other locations in Fort Bragg, as we visit often.
Enjoyed the Feast Mendocino Foragers Dim Dum out on the patio overlooking the harbor. The dishes were generally excellent, except the nettles and cheese ovet flat bread was under salted and bland. The service initially sucked. It took forever to be seated and even longer to get waited on. We still fidnt have water 25 minutes after we arrived. Finally got to order iced tea but they forgot to bring it. Fortunately, a new server started waiting on us and saved the day.
Location was cool. Service was SO slow. Took over 1.5 hours before we got our entree and forever before drinks were delivered from time of ordering. Food was good but wasnt warm when it arrived. Definitely not going back.
Food was good and the cocktails were okay. Try to get a table with a view of the water front it’s a decent view and you might spot a few kayaks, fishing boats and even seals.
I have a favorite dish, the polenta cake with poached egg and lemon hollandaise and side salad. Eating while watching the sea lions swim in Noyo River is a perfect brunch.
We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious!! We got the steak with polenta and green beans. Everything was amazing and full of flavor! The service was great and the atmosphere was a delight. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Still under construction, the Inn overlooks Noyo Harbour and the Noyo River Bridge. Settled between the Pacific Coast and the Redwood Forest, in every direction the view is astounding. The rooms are rustic, several with hot tubs right in the room. Dining will be a pleasure either at the indoor dining room or on the outside deck. Cantilevered parking, separate cabins, rooms designed for wheelchair access, when this Inn is open it will be one place you wont want to miss. A trip to Fort Bragg, Ca just to experience a stsy at this Inn is one trip you will want to take again and again and again.
We only ate the restaurant. We went for brunch on a Thursday. The view on the patio was spectacular and they are dog friendly! Service was wonderful. Food was delicious.
Great location, next/overlooking the harbor, and a few minutes from downtown. All the staff we met were attentive and helpful. The grounds are immaculate, its a very beautiful hotel.
Stopped in for a bite to eat and thought we had lucked out as the place was empty except for one other family of 4 (that was finishing up as we sat down) and two women having drinks (they were done and gone ~45 minutes after we sat down), all of us seated outside overlooking the harbor.Our party of 7 was sat and then left with no update about anything other than we were there at the tale-end of happy hour (we were sat at ~1645 -- which I verified via the timestamps on the photos I took while sitting there waiting and conversing at the table). We sat for another 10-15 minutes with no questions about what we wanted/needed, so I proceeded to go inside and ask for water. I had to give this information to a completely different server and a busser who quickly brought us out some water (I couldnt find our server).Our original server finally appeared a few minutes later and I noticed as she came out of the door she had a tray full of waters, again, a few minutes *after* I had already given a solid 10-15 minutes since last seeing her before going in and asking. I watched as she saw we already had waters, caught herself mid-step, sat down the tray, and came over to us to ask if we needed anything. We placed drink and appetizer orders.Our drinks came out extremely quick, within 2 minutes, with our appetizers shortly thereafter. When setting this all down, our server mentioned there was an error made when she put in our orders (she put in the wrong item, resulting in us being short a flatbread) and that she had to go back in, re-place the order, and bring out the correct item. Not a problem, or so we thought. But more on that later.It is now 1720 and we are on our first round and appetizers, still no sight of that 2nd flatbread...nor our server.It is now 1735 (again, verified via the timestamps on my photos) and still no sight of our server.We finally see her and place our entree and 2nd drink order at 1738. We get this leg of the order at 1747.Ill pause here; why didnt she hand us off to the other server after happy hour ended? This is serving 101. It was also mentioned at the end of our meal (by us to our busser) that all she had to do was cash us out at *that* point in the meal, then hand us off to the other server if our initial server was also running the bar.But, this didnt happen.Our food finally showed up at 1755 and when this all happened 3 of us placed a 3rd drink order and reminded them about the flatbread that was never initially brought. Our server quickly ran in and returned with it, much to the childrens delight (our group was 3 kids; 8 and two 12 year olds, and 4 adults...this wasnt a large group of rowdy drunken adults, we were there as a laid back family dinner)That flatbread run was the last time we saw our server. Everything after that was handled by the busser. We informed him around 1830 that we have placed a 3rd drink order. He offered to go check on it, but we told him to forget it, just bring the check.He returned with it (the check) at 1835 and informed us that the server had applied a gratuity. This heads-up was much appreciated as nowhere was this shown, listed, mentioned, or anything of the sorts. My wife stopped the young man, reached into her purse, and gave him a $20 bill while I signed for the meal; leaving no additional tip for the server. I also just checked the website and menu found therein; no mention of gratuity.Bottom line; for half of our time at Noyo we were the *only* table sitting outside and the busser was the sole person poking his head out to check on us on a regular basis. Otherwise, I was doing the running.This place having the stellar reviews that it does has me scratching my head that we had the experience that we did. Im not one to leave one or two star reviews for establishments, but I felt like I *had* to given how comically terrible our experience was with (at least the restaurant portion of) the Noyo Harbor Inn.
I never have given any place 5 stars but this was wonderful! Friendly staff, great food, beautiful building, lovely artwork. The only downfall is the driveway a d terrible parking
Ate at the restaurant for the first time yesterday. Food was great service was awesome and to top it all off met a really nice family that was staying in the inn that paid for my meal. So nice of them I hope they had a great stay !
Great little inn by the Noyo River. Wonderful accommodations and very friendly staff. Great food on-site and also lots of solid restaurant options a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend if youre in Fort Bragg for an overnight or weekend!
Beautiful place! The service was great & the food was good a little pricey but good my chicken was slightly undercooked & I was disappointed that it was a thigh with bone (not what I expected for $29.)in witch made it difficult to eat, something I wouldnt mind at a bbq place but the last thing you want to do in a fancy restaurant is eat a chicken leg/thigh with your hands otherwise it would have been 5 stars!
Very nice ambiance, excellent breakfast and lunch menu, service is friendly and adequate. Beautiful view of the river and docks. The beautiful building blocks the ocean wind when you sit outside, creating an oasis of sun and warmth.

Cute little hotel. Gorgeous room, huge bathtub. It has a little restaurant onsite with delicious food options. Very romantic. Also still has the personal touch, I forgot my pillow in the room and they mailed it to me.

Its pet friendly, service dog friendly so I have no complaints about this place I would definitely recommend it and I am planning to come back.

Too expensive to not have a working air conditioner The rooms were over heated and dont have an air conditioning system to lower the temperature in late May.Looking back, theres not much to see or do in Ft. Bragg and Mendocino county. Better to visit Santa Cruz or Lake Tahoe.

Stayed here last March to visit my brother who lives there. We loved the place and the daily breakfast. Loved the view. Even if it rained a whole lot but we still loved it!

This gorgeous inn was recently remodeled. Its worth the trip just to see the inn but stop and enjoy something to eat and enjoy the view of Noyo Harbor from the deck of the restaurant.
Terrible service, very expensive for what you get, food was good but the aforementioned really bummed me out. I will never return. Read Bills review if you want to know more about the specifics.

2023-10-07 19:21:51We have dined here twice and this place has become my favorite restaurant in Fort Bragg PERIOD. Love the ambience and view etc Food was amazing and drinks too! They sent us over some complimentary champagne when they found out we all were celebrating our Anniversaries, so so awesome! Thank you guys for providing us with such special and memorable memories every time we come there! Next time we all decided we actually want to stay in the Inn as well!

The harbor has multiple seafood restaurants and markets that are within walking distance of the Inn. We loved every aspect of this hotel and we can’t wait to come back soon.

2023-07-06 03:25:24Upon check-in the front desk person said were you told about room 7? My wife and I looked at each other like uh oh…Then she proceeded to tell us you must have booked it on google (we didnt) and its kind of small. Also if you stay out past 9:30 you wont be able to get into your room because you have to cut through the restaurant and it closes at 9:30.At that point I said maybe we should just get our money back… And she said really sarcastically, thats not going to happen!The same woman escorted us through the restaurant to the room(we had our bags and pet, Awkward!) When we saw the room we were shocked. It looked like it was at one time a storage room off the restaurant. It was basically a bed and a bathroom, facing the restaurant.Meaning that people eating dinner outside can see in. It was also hot so I asked where the AC was so I could cool it down. To which she replied, there is no AC, it will cool down by tonight.My wife and I were exhausted after a 4 hour drive so we just decided to try our best to deal with it and not let it ruin our mini vacation.It gets worse…We found huge hairballs and filthy sheets (see pic) We needed to charge our phones and found an extension cord that looked like it had burn marks (see pic) a cracked shower floor (see pic) (I wore sandals to avoid injury) We also discovered in the early morning that the sun shines directly in the room (see pic) so at 7am we woke up to a sweltering room in bright light. No blackout shades to block the light or stop the restaurant patrons from peaking in…We decided not to stay a second night and just drove home. When we checked a different person was at the front desk and said, unfortunately we will not be able to refund your second night. ( we didnt even ask, we just wanted to get out of there)Please see all the pictures.Weve never complained about a room before and Im hoping to save anyone else from ruining their vacation with a rude, condescending front desk person and awful hotel experience.

2023-01-22 02:06:40All of us in our group highly recommend this delightful inn. Reception were very kind throughout several changes we needed to make with our reservation. Wait staff greeted us with a smile and kindly answered all our questions about the menu. Our table location offered us lovely relaxation with a beautiful view. The food was delicious, especially the braised brussel sprouts. Oh my goodness! We may be making a monthly trip just to enjoy those! Our brunch experience was perfect, making a bittersweet day memorable.

Overall great experience and I will come here again on my next trip.
