O Fine Japanese Cuisine in Laguna Beach

Very good sushi. The tuna collar is a must try. Service was good for a Friday night. The house saki was neutral, smooth and not too sweet.

This sushi place is hands down one of my favorite restaurants to visit, and for good reason - the food is beyond amazing! The fish is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the chefs really know how to craft sushi rolls and nigiri with the perfect rice to fish ratio. The attention to detail is evident in every bite.The Toro and Wagyu Nigiri are some of my personal favorites - the flavors are simply out of this world. And if youre looking for a great variety of flavors, the 12 piece sampler is definitely a must-have. Its the perfect way to try out a range of flavors and really get a sense of the quality of the ingredients.I would also like to add that the service at this sushi place is top-notch. Our waiter Jess was beyond amazing and always takes good care of us. She is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and always makes great recommendations. The staff in general is very friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.Overall, I cant say enough about this sushi place. Its not my favorite sushi restaurant, its my beyond favorite. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the chefs really know how to craft incredible sushi dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. If youre a fan of sushi, you absolutely have to give this place a try.

We love this place, it is a little small but very cozy. The food is excellent, the fish is super fresh and the beer is cold. The hot sake is not so hot. We have tried a lot of their dishes and they are all good. The crispy lobster roll is better than baked one. Crunch Red Dragon is very good! The soft shell crab melts in your mouth but our favorite is the albacore with crispy garlic! Amazing, Thank you O

Amazing place! The food is not cheap, but it is amazing! It is my birthday weekend so we started the celebration at O, best choice ever. Ashley was a great server but every staffed help to make our evening amazing specially the gentleman that works there for a long time (sorry didn’t get his name)We started the halibut sashimi with truffle oil, it melts in your mouth. We had a bunch more sashimi after. My favorite was the bluefin toro, so buttery. We have the Philadelphia roll but we asked to be tempura fried, we call it hot Philadelphia, so good.I had the soft shell crab hand roll to finish it off.Probably forgot to name a few of our dishes.Thank

Its always a good lunch spot that my mom and I go to. The food never disappoints. I ordered the no. 7 lunch special that comes with miso soup and a salad. The server is always friendly and the chefs say good-bye as well.

The restaurant has really bad service and low customer orientation.We went to the restaurant because they are open until 10 pm. At the same time we had a very long way.We arrived at 9:20 pm. We were told that the restaurant was already closed.The restaurant was still full and we politely asked to have another snack (to go if necessary).We also explained that we came to this restaurant deliberately.Nevertheless, they turned us away and sent us away.This is rude and absolutely pathetic.With such a bad attitude, everyone should rather visit another sushi restaurant.

O Sushi has been around for a while, so ive heard. My husband and I had date night here Friday night and we made it during happy hour. The decor is nice, clean, and relaxing. When you enter the restaurant youre immediately greeted by a sushi bar. I think it holds 10-12 people, and it flows nicely. There are a few tables in here in general, so please make sure to book ahead to secure your spot.We ordered the salmon sashimi.... which DID NOT disappoint. This piece of fish literally melts in your mouth, in fact it was so good that you could cut it with chop sticks. The flavor was excellent and we almost ordered another! We also got the yellow tail sashimi which was also really great.Some of the better sushi we have in So Cal, especially in Laguna. Would recommend and would definitely come back!

Best sushi and sashimi in town. Super fresh meat and reasonable price. Go often.
