Tried this place for the first time after seeing the reviews and I got to say, Im extremely satisfied! The portions are beyond big, theyre huge! They definitely do not skimp! The food was fresh, there were quite a bit of people so the food wasnt sitting long. The flavors are great! The veggies are nice and crisp, cooked too perfection! Not soft and soggy at all! Will be returning the next time Im craving some quick Chinese!

Absolutely fantastic! Large portions! Food tastes amazing! The people are so nice. My kids and I were in town for the night and were craving some Chinese. After driving around for what seemed forever and being disappointed everywhere we went, we found this little hole in the wall gem. We all were so impressed with how friendly they were and the size of the portions. We wish we had a place like this by our home

There is always a line during lunch time, so dont expect a quick trip. They stuff the boxes full of food, which is delightful and a nice change when compared to other places. In my opinion, the rice AND chow mein are better tasting than other places I have frequented. I got the teriyaki chicken and jalapeno chicken. The teriyaki was good; basic and ordinary, nothing exceptional. The jalapeno chicken did not have enough jalapenos, lacking in overall spice and taste. Overall, very filling, and better than other places.

This place really pours it on your plate! Very generous proportions! With the take out orders, they barely can close the lid! Common dishes were on point and appeared fresh but there were a few items that were questionable on freshness so I strayed away from those options and that’s why I gave 4 Stars. Chow Mein and Orange Chicken was super fresh and hot! My Assistant got a two item Orange Chicken and Beef/Broccoli and holy moly do they PACK it like wow. A two item could put feed two people in my opinion. The server was super kind and gave us fresh Chow Mein without us asking or even hinting. Orange Bang and bottle drinks were nice and cold! Cash or Card and you can dine in. Parking, not the best.

This place has really good food, and they pack your combo so full, the lid barely closes. Depending on how much you eat, that combo could be lunch and dinner! One combo can easily be shared between 2 people, and the price is definitely worth it when compared to other fast food Chinese food.

O K Chinese is surely an okay place to eat. The portions are large, the food is not bad, not fantastic, just okay... It was something mediocre. Quite average. Satisfactory for what youre paying. I usually get orange chicken going to fast food Chinese and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the flavor a lot! It was all quite on par. So if you want something ordinary, check this place out! It is very unexceptional! Very just okay. Totes 5/5 thou.Seriously they have great food and portions. This was meant to be humorous because of their name.

You come here for quantity, not quality--meaning you get a lot for what you pay. Id give this place 5 stars for quantity, and 2.5 stars for flavor/quality. The servers are nice; not grumpy like a lot of places. Unfortunately, the food all tastes the same, and they almost all look the same. The food is all soggy, like the kung pao chicken and orange chicken, except the egg rolls. Orange chicken should have a little crunch to it! Its cash only, but theres an ATM inside. The decor is all mismatched, but I didnt include that into my rating for it. You pretty much come here for the down and dirty --basically to get your fill!

Ive only been here twice since moving into the neighborhood. I decided to go a third time after the gym today after fasting all day and when I got there I was met with a line extended to the front door, no problem. I make it to the front of the line and no one seems to pay attention to me, cool. Then the cashiers proceed to help 2 customers who are behind me, pretending I dont even exist whilst doing so. I could not understand what was going on as Im always very friendly, quiet, receive my food and then leave type of customer. I was so hungry I just left. Still starving and not I have no idea why I wasnt helped.Ive never written a review in my life, but this was unforgivable, you wont see me there EVER AGAIN.

You want food for 2 days with 1 combo, come to OK China in Van Nuys. Not only is the food made fresh constantly thru out tha day because it never sits long enough to get burnt by heat lamps 😝. I have lived in Eagle Rock for 8 years and just tried this place. Being a connoisseur of Fried Chicken I had no idea what I was missing. The fried chicken here is really tasty. The flavor crystallizes on the outside of the crispy fried batter. The marinated goodness on the inside is tender and juicy. I lament that the only format they make this dish in is wings. If only there was a sandwich version, boneless on a hawaiian roll with perhaps some kind of asian slaw type thing going. O well, a man can dream.

The price for the generous serving will definitely attract lots of customers. I got combo b with fried rice/ chow mein and kung pao chicken and orange chicken for only 8.16$ (including tax). However the chicken were sliced in tiny bits incomparable to Panda express version. Requires a spoonful to taste the chicken. If you are on a tight budget and want your stomach to be satisfied this is the bang for the buck.

They do fill up the styrofoam container, the beef was low quality every bite had veins of grissell running through it, the orange chicken was over cooked around the edges and dry, every piece. The noodles had some funky after taste, maybe mix with mop water? It had about as much flavor as a cardboard box. The rice was probably the best thing, and they where very free giving with soy sauce, dont you hate when people act like one pack of ketchup or soy sauce is enough to end world hunger. Anyway Panda Express has no need to worry, this place is a dive inside and out, hopefully I wont have any adverse effect later on after this garbage, it was so bad I dont consider giving it away to someone hungry, If I did may end up getting charged with a criminal case

To everyone who is hesitant about coming to this place all I can say is dont let the name mislead you its FAR from ok .I love this plac and keep coming after more than 10 years because they give BIG portions for the money not tiny small wimpy portions a la panda express .if youve ever gone to panda wok the one on strathern and lankershim then youll know what Im talking about .their food has these amazing mexican flavors I recommend the pork with chile de arbol not spicy at all so delicious !
