O Sushi & Grill in San Dimas

I moved to the area about 4 years ago when I first tried this restaurant and honestly, I was not impressed during my first visit. I distinctly remember trying it again during the pandemic. I had oysters that time and they were horrible so I thought I would never go back. However, its close to home and very convenient for me so I decided to give it another chance, post-pandemic, and it was excellent. Ive been back 4 or more times after that and the restaurant has been consistently great so I am glad that I gave it another chance. The sushi has been so fresh, the rolls are delicious, the service is fast & friendly, and the atmosphere is very quaint. There are some other local sushi restaurants that have more of a party vibe with loud music, which I like on occasion, but I like coming here sometimes for a nice, peaceful meal with the family without having to wait in a long line, even during peak hours.During my last visit we had the spicy garlic edamame, miso soup, albacore sashimi, Summer roll (crab meat wrapped with tuna, salmon, albacore, no rice), Sunset Action roll (salmon, crab meat, avocado, albacore on top), and the Sweet 16 (lightly fried red snapper with spicy crab on top of a shrimp tempura roll). All of them were delicious, but my favorite was the Summer roll.

I been coming here for a long time. Order the same thing. I went over the order 3 times with the person on the phone and confirmed the order sashimi salad plus sushi and bento box. I drove out and picked up the order and when I got home they gave my a seaweed salad instead. When I called and asked what happened they said oh sorry. I asked and went over the order again and they continued to say sorry then got someone else on the phone and said I can go back and bring the seaweed salad and pay the difference for the sashimi salad. Wow! Customer service is terrible, you would think for the inconvenience they would understand but they were not willing to do anything for the mistake they made except say sorry and have me drive 20 miles again there and back. It was like pulling teeth just to get someone to even ask what to do about the mistake. Not only that, you could hear them going back and forth about what to do and laugh about it. I do not recommend this place, if you do go please double and triple check your order. Don’t expect any understanding from them except the word sorry.

Weve lived near this restaurant for many years but didnt eat sushi until the last couple of years. Once we started eating sushi we started frequenting OSushi several times per week. The food is delicious, service is great, atmosphere is friendly, and your meal gets to you quickly. Weve compared this restaurant to many highly regarded ones near and outside the area but everything about OSushi is so good theres no reason to go anywhere else. This is our favorite!

Sushi was delicious, recommend the Pomona sushi. Avocado was fresh and juicy. Staff was incredible. Definitely recomend

We order and pickup our sushi and appetizers from here quite frequently. It is quick and ready when we get there. Service is good. We all enjoy the food.

First time here. Ordered for pick up inside. It was a 10 minute wait so decided to take a seat outside. The girl who attended to me inside at the front register came outside to give me my order & a water. It was a very hot day so I greatly appreciated the kind gesture. Good tempura rolls and customer service. Will be coming back.

I visited O Sushi & Grill for the first time last week. I entered the restaurant for a take out order. The first person (a young female) who saw me did not bother to greet nor acknowledge me. The second person (older female) that came to the counter did not greet or acknowledge me either. I asked her if I could place my order & she told me to wait until she returned. However, she acknowledged other customers as they were leaving and left me waiting even longer.I love Japanese food, and frequent Little Tokyo in San Dimas. The staff there are professional, kind, and acknowledge each customer. In comparison, the O Sushi & Grill staff did not treat me professionally as a customer. I will not return.
