Excellent local sushi place. Their salmon sushi is the best around and their presentation is top notch. We ordered takeout this time and it was arranged perfectly and tasted fresh as always!

Honestly, probably some of the better sushi in Simi valley, and decently priced. They had very fresh and delicious fish, of which the scallop was something special. All that being said, they went wild on wasabi for the nigiri sushi we ordered. They also added a bit too much ponzu at times and also a little messy with the rock salt. Mixed feelings, but overall the sushi was so much better than some of the other places Ive been to in Simi. I am very critical of my sushi, so take my words for what theyre worth.

Excellent food and service. I liked the fresh greens in the salad. My salmon was nicely cooked and my husband enjoyed his scallop dish. We ordered a few pieces of sushi and they were very tasty & well prepared!

I want to love this place I really do. I have gone here multiple times and in the beginning everything was great. I also didnt inspect my sushi rather shoved it in my mouth without checking anything. But for some reason I noticed my baked sushi was partially raw in some of the rolls . . . I am pregnant and breastfeeding, I know sushi is a tricky thing during pregnancy so Im putting my trust in this place but I might no longer be able to .. I got raw parts to my salmon 2 times but because the sushi was pretty good and close to home I didnt make a big deal out of it I just ordered it a different way to help this not happen. Well tonight I ordered it thinking everything would be perfect I just wanted smaller pieces of salmon on top so they would Cook all the way well I open my Togo box and the salmon is chard, burned to a crisp ... I was like ok at least Ill be eating cooked salmon... Well that wasnt the case even with this burnt salmon Im trooping through to eat theres parts that are raw still 😫😫😫 Im so sad .. going to look for a new sushi place for my next order. I have photos but its not allowing me to add them here .if I figure it out Ill try posting them

I want to love this place. Its close to home. The sushi was very good ... Until I got a baked philly with raw salmon. Part of my salmon was cooked and part was raw, this roll should be fully cooked. I did talk to them about it and they gave me my money back for that roll but then the next time I ordered I asked for smaller pieces of salmon so it would be funny cooked, they burned the salmon completely.. it was black . It did not taste good at all.... And might I add Im a pregnant breastfeeding mother... I love sushi and I know I can eat cooked while pregnant so thos what super upsetting that the cooked rolls I order were raw... Oh I forgot to mention this happen 2 times before the burned salmon .. I kept giving them a try because the one time I did get a perfectly cooked roll it was delicious.

Great service! Very nice and helpful. They are always eager to help. The sushi chefs are friendly and love interacting with anyone and everyone. They make AMAZING sushi. In fact probably the best youll find. Even been to restaurants by the sea and still not as good as this restaurant. If you talk to the waitresses or waiters they will definitely be chill and chat with you while still doing their job. Wish i could rate even higher!!! Love love love this place and the sushi/food!!!

Was there yesterday with a date. The worst experience ever. Saw the sushi chef drop food on the floor and serve it twice, wasn’t concerned if we saw him at all. Worst service, bad food, old rice, old fish! Disgusting experience! Wouldn’t recommend it to worst enemy!

We were here before and the service and food was great. However, on Sunday 2/27/22, we waited nearly 30 mins and nobody seated us. There were a good number of tables open in the back. (There were not many people waiting to be seated besides us). But there were people already seated waiting to get their order taken and they waited nearly as long as we did to be seated. We decided to leave to go somewhere else.

This is by far my favorite sushi place in Simi Valley. The fish is fresh and they have a good variety. The service is great, the employees are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend their hot plum sake. Its my favorite drink to order and have not found anything like it at any other sushi place.

This place has one of the top quality fish in the town. If you are looking for an organic home town grown restaurant, pay a visit to here. They were in the business in simi for 15+ yrs. And their food quality is always top select. The weekend nights are packed and busy. I like their Simi roll, black cod with honey miso,organic cold sake.

The sushi was fairly decent, and so was the garlic edamame. The miso soup was terrible as was the shrimp tempura (very undercooked). Portion size of the large saki was minimal as was the steamed rice. Stuffed jalapeño had way too much Sriracha which ruined the flavor. The oyster shots were less than good, probably the worst I’ve ever had. The sushi chef served me another oyster shot after I asked him what the ingredients were, thinking I wanted another one because his English was so poor. I said I didn’t order one, so he just threw it away instead of just offering it to this first time customer. It took over 20 minutes to get the check after asking for it. Frustrated, we went to the cashier to pay the bill. They had lost it, and were frantically going through the garbage can and their purses behind the counter! The ladies finally found it and I paid, but no tip. Happy New Year sushi experience was a massive let down. 👎

This place just sucks. Excuse my candor but there is no better way to describe. Overpriced tiny rolls oh and they charged me large sake price for a small one. You can tell that they are robotic in their delivery and really dont care about anything but just squeezing blood out of pennies. Do you think that it may just be me? Roll the dice, its your money but there are about 4 other sushi places in Simi that totally blow this place out of the water.

Great food! Horrible service. Last couple of times weve gone there for lunch it took 30 minutes to get our food. The cashier has been serving tables. He needs to stick to cashiering. Id still go there for take-out but Im not inclined to go back there for lunch and sit and wait and be ignored by the server. Not sure if management has changed or something in the past couple of months because it use to be a lot better.

Most of the restaurant was empty but it still took a few minutes to be noticed by the hostess. Upon greeting us she seemed stooped as to where to seat us and then only gave us one menu for two people. The menu is very limited and unnecessarily overpriced. We then waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order and ended up leaving, as no one ever came. The restaurant was mostly empty and the staff just stood around talking amongst themselves. I even had to go back in after leaving my phone on the table and no one said a word to us.

Lunch special: beef teriyaki with a spicy tuna roll. Came with miso, salad, and a bowl of white rice. Wasn’t bad, But wasn’t great either.I enjoyed the outdoor patio, which the server was nice enough to let us use even though it wasn’t technically open, in order to accommodate our dog who was with us for the day.Not the best Japanese fare I’ve had for the money, but I’d come back because it’s convenient and the staff is nice.

The worst experience w the waitress at H2o . The owner was amazing and the staff apologetic for the cluelessness of our waitress.... SUEFrom the start,Sue was absolutely clueless she arrives at the table. Doesent introduce herself, makes no mention of any specials. Then leaves without a word.I was seated withNo menuCold sakeI had to Ask for my salad twiceNo drinkNo sugarFood was beautiful and boringly blandShe was an absolute zombie. The owner came over and I let her know exactly what we experienced. She was very apologetic . then to my surprise the other waiter came over and wanted to thank me for finally telling the management how this woman sue is like this everyday. I couldnt of said it better when I said as we left the restaurant you mark my words this woman Sue is going to cost you a lot of money.Guaranteed. I would never recommend this place I would steer clear and you should not go there.

My husband and I sit at the sushi bar every Friday. The fish is excellente quality. Very fresh and our sushi chef Thomas always is fun and creative with our selection. This is by far the best in Simi Valley. Ps the fried calamari is great.

So I never have posted a review for anything and I am not one to complain, but I was so surprised by this that it was almost comical. I bought a order of seaweed salad for $6 dollars and I open the box and this is how much they gave me. It is literally 2 bites!! I even put my hand next to it so you can see how little they gave me. Place was empty Wednesday night at 905 waited 20 minutes to get a beer ordered some sushi waited 20 minutes two other people came in and there food came right up so I had to order again the three sushi guys were laughing at me and drinking beer.when I got up to leave 45 minutes later they made my stuff then offered to just give it to me can’t seem to get in touch with a manager? The little sushi guy even told me to F off as I left wile they were drinking there beer?what a disappointment

I met up with a friend after work here. He had handed over his credit card before I had arrived to keep an open tab. Later, when it came time to settle the bill, he couldnt find his credit card ( because they already had it ). Thinking he had lost it, I paid the $98 Bill. The next day, he called his credit card company to see what the last charge was, and it was O2 sushi for $98. We paid twice. Ugh!!
