Very small restaurant, but big on the flavor! Everything tasted amazing. Parking is on the street, as Im not aware of any parking lots, but totally worth it! Service was great and all the servers were very attentive. 10/10 recommend, and will return when back in town!

Easy to miss but a cozy neighborhood hangout for sure. Not much on the decor side and not a romantic place to take your date. Place could use a coat of paint or a remodle. Ordered the sashimi deluxe. Nice thick slices and very tender. The diet friendly cucumber roll which was tasty. Of course a couple of beers to assist. I say check it out.

Ordering online for pickup: they don’t read the instructions for no utensils. Added code for free edamame and they gave us something else. Sauce is added to rolls that don’t have it in their menu ingredients, ie Ocean Fish Roll, which didn’t list mayo but was swimming in it! Tasted terrible!My two cents: Get away from mayo and cream cheese on everything.

The staff here is always so friendly. On occasion, I have asked the waitress to just pick something for me. She is always thoughtful and picks something great. Great spot!!!

Terrible Japanese food, maybe is ok for roll, but don’t try sashimis, Chirashi…. Fishes isn’t freshThe kitchen is dirty as hell.It’s not Japanese at all, more Chinese than Japanese.Service is terrible, the waitress is the worst!!!I was asking if I can replace a miso soup for other item, before I finish asking she said NO YOU CAN’T!_Excuse me, let me finish what I’m asking, please.I had to throw away my food.

Ordered take out based on the rating and it was completely inaccurate. Overpriced sushi that tasted like nothing, not fresh and was drowned in mayo or who knows what it was on top. Not what Im used to in California. Going to a small local place I thought I couldnt go wrong but the supermarket sushi is better. I literally threw 80 dollars in the trash. Dont waste your money.

Excellent sushi rolls - I had the Hollywood and Linda Mar! Also, the service is really friendly and helpful. We had an allergy order in our party and they were VERY careful and considerate with that. Will definitely return if I’m in the area again!

The Sushi was decent for take out, but not the absolute best Ive ever had. I am glad I tried it!!!BUT... the menu posted on the door and the ones available to take, are not updated in pricing.I walked up to the door, took a picture of the menu on the door, went to my car to review it, and called in an order and was given a total. I didnt think about the cost until I started to review the order in my head, while i was waiting fir it to be prepared..When i went in to pick up the order and pay... I saw why the order didnt add up and why it was FAR MORE than what I expected to pay. I asked about the difference in pricing and was told that the accurate pricing was listed online.Hmmm, I informed the manager that legally they had to post a sign that indicated that their pricing wasnt up to date or to take the menu off the door until it could be updated. Check your receipts when you pay. The break down in cost is on the copy they keep.Definitely worth trying, but understand what youre paying for. 🤔

Customer service was pleasant for takeaway but Im sorry for $50 the sushi was sub par. Too much sticky and wet rice weighing down takeaway bag I was wondering what the heck was so heavy. Rice is very important to sushi. I hesitate to write negative reviews for restaurants but I wasted money. I threw most of my order out.

You would think that with COVID-19 restaurant owner be at least polite to costumer...being the only Mexican, waited about 10 minutes to be noticed... The waitress ignored me. After waiting, i move forward an when i was about to pull a chair to seat. The waitress approached me and said I could not seat there... She guided me to a table near the registry. I felt in a way discriminated.. I felt so out of place for the first time. First time at this place, not thinking of coming back.

Great service and excellent food at half the price of other sushi restaurants around the bay. Highly recommend this place if your in the mood for Japanese cuisine. Took the family of 4 here, me, my beautiful wife and 2 kids 12 and 3 year olds and they also loved the food here. Family friendly atmosphere that care about their customers and food they serve. First time eating here was just fine. Quick service and it’s near a beach however next two times were subpar. The atmosphere is a little dingy/old/cheap and the food is just not worth it. In the second few times of ordering here I tasted something mouldy in the Chirashi Don, my date found eye lashes in his food and the water glasses were extremely dirty (combination of old and sticky). I’ve since found my new go-to sushi spot and this just didn’t cut it.

I ordered over the phone and the server Fanny was very rude. I asked for the mango tango roll without the mango wasabi and she responded a harsh tone that the wasabi was on the side. I ordered two other rolls and when I picked them up two of the three were just thrown together in a very small container in a very sloppy manner. I don’t know if Fanny was just having a bad day but over all my experience was not at all like the people that recommended me to go said. If you are planning on getting sushi here I would strongly advise you not to. And I would advise management to find a new server with better customer service than Fanny.

Do not try to place a phone order...SO RUDE!! I GOT HUNG UP ON 3 TIMES trying to place an order. I called and as soon as I asked a question the line went dead. I tried again and was hung up on again. The third time I just placed the order for something simple and was hung up on with no confirmation. I had to call a fourth time to see if my order was even placed...IT WAS NOT. This is the first time trying this place after getting a few recommendations and honestly the customer service is terrible. This is ridiculous that anyone would hang up midsentence on someone trying to give them business. I was completely respectful for all conversations.

I totally like that this place will still deliver to our house in Daly City. (were seriously 4 blocks away from Pacifica). Love that its sushi delivery! Portions are pretty good for the price you pay, and if you spend a certain amount you get something free with your order whether it be edamame, a cali roll, or a rainbow roll. Its a sweet deal from this mom& pop sushi joint.

We dont have very many options in the neighborhood but let me tell you that between the handful of sushi options ALL OVER Pacifica, this is by far our favorite one. They always are extremely kind to my son. They give us extra plates, water, napkins, forks, anything we need. Plus, they have fun deals that make it work. Like $1 edamame or free sushi rolls over a certain price. Like every awesome local place, once you become a regular they already know what youll need and order. Which makes the craving for Japanese food easy to quench in a jiffy with zero regrets. Oh AND they deliver.

I got the Chirashi and California Roll to go. The CA roll was just ok, but the seaweed was pretty chewey. Ill be honest, I really just wanted a soy sauce sponge, so no matter. The fish in the chirashi was hit and miss. It was all pretty fresh but not mind blowing by any stretch. I was also sad about the Tamago which was the generic one and not the fresh made one (I have a thing with fresh Tamago). The prices are reasonable but overall I wasnt that impressed.
